How can I delete iTunes Extras?

I don't have a lot of storage on my iPad and I don't use the Itunes extras. How can I delete these?

I listened to it, and then later synced it to my iTunes.
I have iTunes set to delete podcast episodes after I listen to them, but this one is still on my iPhone.
How can I get this episode deleted from my iPhone?

It's not clear from your post if you've tried downloading the app again from the App Store directly on your phone. If you haven't I'd give that a try.

How can I delete iTunes purchased music

Music I purchsed from iTunes is synced to my iPad. However, there are a couple of tracks I do not want but can find no way to delete them. I have deleted them from my iMac and Mac Mini but they still apear on the iPad. It's no big deal but I like to have control over devices I own and this is an irritation. How can I permanently delete purchased music from the iPad?

OK so I'm answering my own question. After deleting purchased music from my iMac and Mac Mini, it still appeared on my iPad. However, on opening Music in the iPad, I found that by holding my finger against the track I wanted to delete and swiping to the right, a red DELETE tag appeared at the right-hand end of the track title line. Tapping this tab deleted the title and it has not returned. I repeated this for all of the purchased titles I wanted to remove and it has worked.
I have not found any reference to this facility elsewhere but, believe me, it works.

Why would you give someone your account details? Presumably the problem is that you still have a credit card or other source of funding attached to the account and now other people are spending your money. Chances are that they have now changed the password making it harder for you to log in and remove your card details.
It turns out you can delete an account, although eventually you would permanently lose access to any protected purchases made with that account. What makes more sense is to deactivate the account and/or remove any credit card/other funding associated with it.
Try to sign in to the store with your account details or visit Apple ID Support and use the Recover your password link if you have been locked out of the account.

How can I delete an extra calendar

Besides my normal calendar on iPad I accdently created a other one. Both gets synced with icloud.
My problem is that I cannot delete the extra calendar. Every time I delete it from my calendar app, its back in a few seconds from icloud.
I then deleted my entire icloud account and deleted the calender and it stayed away.
Then I created a new icloud account and the calender is back.
Really? You cannot do a simple thing like deleting a calendar?

I created the second calendar by deleting my main calender, turning off iCloud, creating a new calender and turning on iCloud again.
Then I had two calendars and none of them could be removed again from iPad or iCloud.
Actually I now managed to delete the empty calendar (thank you Windows).
But now iCloud is not getting updated from iPad.
I really miss my Google setup where everything worked logical.

If you use iTunes' default preferences settings, anything in your collection will be in your iTunes Media folder. When you add a track to iTunes it places a copy in the iTunes folder but leaves the original where you downloaded it. The exceptions are if you use the Automatically Add To iTunes folder it does move it, or you drag items to iTunes while holding down the option key in which case it uses the copy wherever it is.
As for where the other files are, you will have to look on your computer. Use Spotlight to search for .mp3 .mp4 or whatever file formats you have. If they aren't in the iTunes folder and iTunes lists them as being in the library then likely they are the original files which you can delete.
You will have to do some careful checking that whatever you delete is not the file actually used by iTunes. If you have a flash drive or another drive for temporary storage i would stick the extra files there and then if something breaks you can restore them

How can I delete iTunes U files which wont delete

I downloaded iTunes U app and downloaded some content, but before the downloads were complete, it crashed and does not work - possibly due to slow internet speeds rather than early iOS 5 issues. The files I downloaded are still in the iTunes U section of the Music app as well as the Videos app. When I tap them, it says 'unable to play movie' ... because its not a complete file probably. I tried swipping to delete them, which didnt work. When I plug my phone into iTunes the files dont show up. I reset the phone, still didnt work. Any ideas as to how I can delete these files?

1. Go to App folder, doubleclick iTunes / Get info
2. Unlock Sharing & Permissions section and change Everyone state to Read & Write
3. Archive iTunes to zip and delete the just the iTunes.app itself (without touching additional files (if you use Appcleaner for example))
Use this algorhytm with any native locked app.

How can i delete itunes so i can reload a new database

I have changed usb drives, but i tunes will not let me change the database. I have tryed to delete the program from my computer and reloaded it but
Itunes still finds the old database not the new one, their has to be a file some where that i can't find that keeps the old info.

How can I delete iTunes 2.03 AppleScripts from 11.0.4?

A long, long time ago, I apparently installed Apple's "iTunes script collection" announced in 2001 for iTunes 2.03.
Sometime since, I (must have) deleted ~/Library/iTunes/Scripts, because that folder does not exist.
Nonetheless, I have the following menu in iTunes, which I would like to nuke (because all of the scripts are totally out of date):
I have searched for many of the scripts by name (via Spotlight™ and in the Finder™) to no avail.
I even went as far as to try a bunch of them 'til I found one that didn't just immediately order me to "upgrade" iTunes 11.0.4 to 2.03, and while it was running use the console command "lsof" to list all open files, attempting to locate the script — still nothing.
Does anybody here have an idea where I might find them in order to delete them?

And by the way, this was NOT a lost or stolen phone, it was given to my daughter who then gave it to her brothers to play games on. It was legally obtained!

I don't use itunes so I decline the agreement thing that pops up. But now it keeps popping up, again, and again, and again. Have rebooted and tried to delete but then there it was again. Very frustrating.

I went to update my itunes, now i keep gettign a message folder not available..tried to delete old version from my hard drive it tells me to contact the ownere.. had sony tech remote in and he told me to contact apple since they are athrid party to get assitants deleting ...

I get a message saying the network source is not availbale the i get a message path or folderr not found so i click browse go to my programs click Itunes not found.. then another message saying the older version cannot be deleted to contact my techinical group..

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?
