    thx
If you don't want ANY one at Apple knowing your email address you could try this:
Go to http://myinfo.apple.com/ and where your email address is listed just replace it with a made-up one like "[email protected]"

  • How can I delete my itunes account and create a new one ?

    Hi Everyone
I've got a problem with my current account itunes (french) :
I'm between France and Spain. I usaully use french applications but I would like to be able to pick some apps in the spanish itunes store, and in the english one (such as i already do in the french one). Lately I change my payment data to my spanish visa card data, since then I cannot download any app anymore.
So I tried to create a new account in the itunes store choosing the spanish location, but it s not possible since my actual email adress is the back up email adress of my french account .
Can you please provide me some support ?
A good day to you all.
    Audrey

You can access www.appleid.apple.com and open your old account and delete.

How can I delete an iTunes account ?

Only iTunes Support can potentially delete an account (which would also delete any purchase history for it, so you would no longer be able to authorise that content on a computer, redownload it, and download updates to its apps) : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/
Or you could just remove any personal info from it (e.g. payment details if you have any on it) and stop using it

How can I delete an iTunes account from my iPhone so it's no longer associated with my device?

If you mean that it has the 90 day association : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627
then you can either wait for the 90 days to complete, or you can try contacting iTunes Support and see if they can remove the association : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

  • I no longer have my iphone. how can I delete my iTunes account

How can I delete my iTunes account if I no longer have my iphone

You can't as such. If you have a credit card entered that you wish to remove, just go into the account settings through iTunes and choose "none" for the Payment Method:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1918
Then you can just stop using the account, if you no longer wish to buy music or other content for use on your computer.

  • How can i delete my itunes account as i think im being hacked, almost every day itunes are taking accessive amounts of money from my account!

Dear Apple support, how can i delete my itunes account as i think im being hacked!! over the past few months a lot of money seems to be taken from my account ranging from as little as £1 to £60... i cant take any more. Can i delete the account? Can u help me plase as i dont know what to do! Regards Teresa

Go into your iTunes account and eliminate the payment method to none.  Then change the password.  FInally notify iTunes support of your problem.  You will find ways to contact iTunes support on this website.  Email works very well with iTunes support.
You do not want to delete your account and there is no need to do that to prevent further hacking.  The reason is that any purchases of music, Apps, movies or whatever made with your iTunes account will be associated to that account and you can redownload them if you change iPhones, get an iPad or to your computer.  If you were able to delete the account, which you cannot do, you would have to repurchase everything.

How do I delete an Itunes account and an appleID?

You can't. Not directly any way.
You would need to contact iTunes Account Security and have them remove it.
Know, however,  that any purchases made with that Apple ID will go away with the Apple Id when its deleted, and will have to be purchased again if required.

  • HT1918 I deleted my credit card from my account but iTunes company is still trying to bill my credit card.  Why is this and how can I delete my iTunes account ?

How do I get iTunes to stop billing my credit card after I deleted my credit card on my account and how do I delete my iTunes account.

You can't delete an iTunes account, all you can do is remove personal info from it and stop using it - any items that you downloaded with the account will remain tied to it.
    Have you got any auto-renewing subscriptions : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4098 ?
    And/or any pre-orders : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5714 ?

  • How do you delete your itunes account and start over?

How do you delete your itunes account that you registered with and start over?

Delete the credit card information from the account and let it go dormant or you can contact iTunes through the expresslane and have them disable the account. To change your itunes and iphone over to a different account, first go to appleid.apple.com and create a new account then sign out of itunes on your computer and sign back in using the new account. Then, sign out of you phone's stored apple ID and sign in with your new apple ID.(Settings>Store>Tap your apple ID and choose "sign out".

  • How can I delete my iMatch account and revert my iTunes back the way it was?

I am having many issues with iMatch and want to delete my account and remove all of my music from the cloud.
    Here are the issues:
    1. My playlists are filled with "error" songs that cause playback to skip multiple numbers at a time.
    2. When I sign off of iMatch and try and repopulate my playlists with songs imported from CD's I recieve a message that says " iCloud playlists can only contain songs from your icloud library.
         * This error message occurs even when I am signed-out of iMatch.
    3. There are many songs completley missing from playlists, and none of my playlists were Smart.
    4. When I try and restore my playlists I get the same error messgae over and over.
    5. If I turn iMatch back on, all of the numbers get classified as "error" and the whole thing starts again.
I have over 25,000 songs and this is a gigantic mess.
Can someone please tell me how to compeltley remove all of my music from the icloud while leaving it on my computer? This includes all playlists?
Can someone please tell me how to delete/remove the connection with my itunes account and the icloud?
I am not asking for a refund, just a return to the way things were before I foolishly bought iMatch.
    Thanks
    David

    Michael,
Thanks for your tip and response. I tried everything. I spoke with support for about 50 minutes the same day I posted. They informed me that even though I might have iMatch switched off, all of my playlists on my iMac have been designated as iCloud playlists. This is why I was getting the iCloud error message everytime I changed a previously iCloud-ed playlist. If I turn iMatch back on, these error codes go away because the playlist is automatically re-synced with the duplicate lists in the iCloud.
The support team suggested deleting my entire library from the cloud but did not have a procedure in place for this. Individual song deletions are listed in an Apple support document, but this procedure will delete the song from your hard disk as well.
So I went to work, re-organized all my playlists with iMatch off and received 100's of error codes in the processes. I found upwards of 200 (out of 25,000) songs that had been corrupted by the iMatch process and were now non-playable MPEG's. I have no clue how this happed becasue on my devices they are AAC files.
Long story short: Apple Service sent me a very apologetic letter, deleted my entire iCloud library and refunded all of my money.
The iMatch expereince for me was a complete disaster however, I must commend Apple for their prompt response and service.

  • How can I delete an iTunes account that has been deactivated?

I deleted an old Apple ID with the help of a call to Apple Support.  However, my iphone is still trying to use the old ID.  How do I log out of the old ID and into the new?  Or, how can I delete the old ID when it has already been deactivated?  (Cannot delete with phone)

Only iTunes Support can potentially delete an account (which would also delete any purchase history for it, so you would no longer be able to authorise that content on a computer, redownload it, and download updates to its apps) : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/

  • TS1702 How can i delete my iTunes Account?

Because of the new Security questions that iTunes has put on my Account, I can not download new apps to put on my phone. I have been in contact with Apple, iTunes and iCloud. Now I am to the point I just want to delete my current account and make a new one. This is so stupid, iTunes has been no help to me at all, the Apple people where rude to me and the iCloud has not even contacted me back. What am i soppose to do. I am very upset with all 3 of these company's, if you are going to change you product tell the people that are using it that you are going to change it and if there is a problem fix it. This is stupid i am now going on 2 weeks of not being able to download anything. I think that iTunes should allow me to at least make my own security questions and if you are going to make them for the customer at least let that person know the answer to there own account. I am going to say it again and again this corruptions needs to take responsiblity of there actions and if there is a problem fix it....

Actually Brooke, iTunes did that for additional Security purposes. It's not corruption. If iTunes is corrupt, they could've not entitled customers for refund when the customers does not want what they bought. If you're going to delete the account, all of your purchases will be gone. The security questions are originally set-up by you. If you can't remember setting them up, iTunes would likely ask you three questions. If it is asking you 3 questions, it means it's asking you to setup the questions now. If it's asking you 2 questions, it means it has been configured by YOU before. Go to appleid.apple.com to manage your apple id and see if you have a rescue email address where you can easily send the reset security questions email.
