How can I delete partially downloaded music albums from my iPad 2?

I bought what I thought was an album from the ITunes store. Turned out to be a jumble of songs from several albums which went everywhere. I hate a mess like that so I decided to just delete all the songs. Now I am left with partial albums with no cover art and songs that don't even play. I can't delete them directly from my iPad and syncing with iTunes won't get rid of them either. Am I stuck with them?

Yes, it will now always show that you purchased it, but with it deleted from ipad, when yu click the icon to download again, it will download the latest versioon available from the app store.
You cannot delete what is in the app store. nor can you erase your previous history of purchasing the app.

To remove the apple id from the device, go to Settings>icloud>delete account. NOTE: this will only remove the account from the iPad. It will not delete the account.

You will need to connect your iPad to your computer, and on the Photos tab de-select those folders that you no longer want on the iPad - they can't be deleted directly on the iPad. If you no longer want any synced photos on your iPad then you can select and sync just an empty folder.

You can delete photos from individual albums but not from the camera roll. If you try to delete a photo from camera roll it will be deleted from all other albums ("locations") that contain the photo. This is because the actual photo is in the camera roll (the albums only contain links to the photo in camera roll, not the actual photo).

the settings are gone, i guess. But even worse, I cannot get the iPad2 to play Full HD thru the Apple digital AV adaptor using apps that support (and advertise this), like AVPlayer HD. This definiteley used to work before one of the last iOS upgrades. (I am now at 5.1.1).

Another thing to try - Turn the iPad Off & then back ON.
If that doesn't work:
• Log out of your iTunes store account. Go to Settings > Store > Sign Out Then press the Home button.
• Then press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously and don't release them when it brings up the Turn Off screen; keep holding them until the Apple logo appears.
