How can I determine what computers are authorized on my iTunes account?

How can I determine what computers have been authorized on my iTunes account?  I've reached my limit and now I'd like to deauthorize one computer.
Thanks,
Jerry

There is no list.
You can only deauthorize a single computer from that computer.
If you do not have access to the computers, then you would have to deauthorize all.

  • How can i tell what computers are authorized with my itunes account?

My iTunes app tells me that I have 5 computers currently authorized with my account. How can I tell which ones they are???  I've checked all of my old desktops and laptops to deauthorize them but they indicate that they were never authorized.  Confusing. Why go to the trouble managing how many are authorized if you don't provide a means to list them???  I realize that I can deauthorize them all (the only choice!) but, in doing so and reauthorizing the ones I need, does this mean that I lose the ability to access previously purchased music on them??  I must say that, for the ease of use of the Apple apps, I expected more.  Thanks:-) !

You cannot. You can see the number of authorised machines.
Go to itunes Store, Select Account from Quick Links on the right.
If you already have 5 authorised but can't remember which the machines are you have the option of once every 90 days to deauthorize all comuters and then individually reauthorising the ones you want.
On each machine in iTunes Click Store > Authorise this computer

How can I determine what computers are home sharing??

Launch iTunes on the computers you're interested in. Check in the "Advanced" menu.
If "Turn on Home Sharing" is listed as an option, the iTunes library that you have open is not Home Sharing.
If "Turn off Home Sharing ([accountname]) is listed as an option, the iTunes library that you have open is Home Sharing.

  • HT2688 How can I see what computers are authorized to share?

How can I see what computers are authorized to share? My e-mail address changed and I need to make sure one of my authorized computers is not my old address. In itunes.

In order to see which devices are authorized on your account:
    Open iTunes
    Click Store
    Click Account
    Click View Account
    Enter your password
Look in the second section iTunes in the Cloud
To the far right you'll see Manage Devices
Once it's clicked you will see all of the devices currently authorized in iTunes/on your account
I was going to say, "Hope this helps," but based on the above, I'm pretty sure it did!

  • HT1420 how do I find out what computers are authorized on my itunes account?

How do I find out what computers are authorized on my itunes account? I want to add my MBP to my itunes account but I can't because I already have 5 computers authorized BUT I can't remember what computers I had authorized.  I'm assuming iPhones count as computers in this instance.
    Thanks

I'm not aware that you can see a list anywhere - and no, iPhones (nor iPads or iPods) count, only computers do (but a computer could count more than once e.g. if you've updated or reinstalled the OS without first deauthorising it).
If you've reached the 5 computer limit then you can log into your account and 'deauthorise all' (which you can do once every 12 months) and you can then authorise/reauthorise the computers that you still have and need : authorising and deauthorising.

  • How can I see what computers are authorized for my phone?

I'm using an iPhone 4 on iOS 7.1.  I have a new computer and need to de-authorize one of my old ones to add the new one.  I can't see a list of all the authrozied computers.  My only choice seems to be 'de-authorize all', which I really don't want to have to do.
Does anyone know how to diplay the coputers that are authorized?

  • How can you see what computers are authorized with my account?

Good afternoon. I installed iTunes on my desktop computer at home because I began creating a music library. My first original install was on my laptop and then I decided to add iTunes to my desktop. When I authorized iTunes on my desktop it said it was the third computer that is authorized to play content purchased with this Apple ID.
How do I find out where else I have authorized iTunes? Is there a way in which a person can find out? Does my iTouch count as one?
If I rest the computers authorization will it delete my music library if I did that? I know you can only do it once a year. I am afraid someone else will use my account.
    Thank You

  • How can I tell what computers are authorized?

I have authorized my account on differnt computers, those go against my 5 authorizations correct? Also, I have forgotten a couple of computers that I have authorized, is there a way to find out which ones they are? If I hit deauthorize all on my computer will I get all 5 back? And will I just have to re-authorize my computer corrct? I am confused by the DRM stuff. Also, how can you tell how many burns are left on certain music files?
I know this is a many part question, so any help to any/all of them would be great.

    hi!
when you hit "deauthorize all", your counter for Registered Computers is set to zero.
At that moment you temporarily lose all DRM rights you have by your files.
But if you authorize your computer, the Registered Counter increases by one (1 of 5 authorized) and you have access to all your music/vids again.
    Hope i could help

Having difficutly getting movies and TV programs purchased from the iTunes store to play on my Apple TV Gen 1 - they appear in the library but don't transfer onto the Apple TV Gen 1; any suggestions?

You may want to ask in ATV forum. Though first gen is so old it's becoming hard to find experts on that anymore.

  • TS2972 how can i identify which computers are authorized for i tunes

How can I identify which computers are authorized for use with I tunes?

    Hi there,
You can't see a list of your authorised computers, but you can see how many are authorised and deauthorise them individually or together.
I've found you a relevent support article which explains all of this:
iTunes Store: About authorization and deauthorization
    Hope this helps,

  • HT1420 how do i find what computers are authorized?

Where do I find computers are authorized on my itunes account?

    BTAklund,
Some folks think there should be a command to pop out a list of authorized computers, such as "the desktop in the living room," Mary Jane's laptop," etc.  But there is no such thing.
To make it more confusing, an authorization can be used up by a computer that no longer exists, or is a duplicate of an existing computer.  (The latter case can occurs when certain repairs are done without first deauthorizing.)
Unless you have hit 5, don't worry about it.  When you hit 5, use the "Deauthorize All" command as KP suggests, and then reauthorize only the ones you are still using.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
There is no way to view a list of authorised computers. You can only tell a computer is authorised from that computer itself, from the store menu in iTunes.
