How can I disable email notify in UCM workflow?

Using <$wfSet("wfJumpEntryNotifyOff", "1")$> in entry events of workflow steps I can disable email notify. But I need to disable this email in contribution step too.
Is it possible?

The contribution step cannot be modified, so it is certainly not possible by the means of using <$wfSet("wfJumpEntryNotifyOff", "1")$>
Note also that emails in the contribution step are by definition sent to authors when their content was rejected, so it might be quite advisable to give them a note.

I am new to this technology. I need to send email notification to the user's, whenever file is checked-in. What is the procedure to send an email notification let us take GMAIL from UCM.
1) Now I have installed UCM in my machine. Do I need to install any other software to implement this feature(sending email)?
2) I read it in a document, that configuration is needed in a config file in order to send email. What details do i need to give in these fields,
HttpServerAddress= ?
MailServer= ?
SysAdminAddress=?
SmtpPort=25
HttpRelativeWebRoot=/idc/
CgiFileName=idcplg

3) Do I need to install any mail server? If so which software can i go with?? Is it possible to send email to gmail or yahoo acccount without installing mail server ???

You will need to have an SMTP server of some sort that you can use. I think out of the box, you may only be able to use an SMTP server that allows anonymous sending or sending unauthenticated (e.g. an internal server). Any good SMTP server (that is not an internal server) would not allow this for security reasons.
Thus, I think if you want to use an external SMTP server such as Gmail, you will need to write custom Java code. See this thread for more information: UCM SMTP server Configuration

i need to change image to autonomous and i m trying everything. i m trying to find wayout the cisco 1552e hell... problem is 1552e doesn t use ftp, tftp, scp or other protocols. i installed the wireshark to server notebook and listen the network. other machines, pc notebook etc. connecting to server ftp, tftp ,scp and all other ports perfectly just the freak 1552e doesn t. 1552e ping to server also server ping to 1552e. it totaly normal but when i try :

Which firmware your N8 having now? You can check firmware by choosing Call, then type *#0000#.
My N8 works fine on security setting and able to define Phone auto lock period, by choosing Menu>Settings>Phone>Phone management>Security settings>Phone and SIM card>Phone auto lock period>User defined>Lock after(minutes)
You will prompt to enter Lock code each time u define auto lock priod or enable/disable auto lock.

Is it an IMAP or POP account?

I'm not sure how it works on your iPad, but once the email has been downloaded onto my iPad, I can read them even in Airplane mode with WiFi disabled. Drafts of? If you mean emails, Firefox doesn't delete your drafts. This may however be a feature of your webmail. This isn't the fault of Firefox, just something your webhost does on their own.

On my PC I simply have a master return email address and use a POP for the secondary address. Both are through the one exchange account without a problem. I need to be able to do the same on my Ipad.

Ah, I should have made that clear. My domain didn't come from google. It was purchased at and is hosted at dreamhost, but I haven't used their email servers in years - I just route everything through gmail. I actually have a bunch of domains (with websites).
Gmail has an option that lets someone with custom domains send (and receive) email through gmail using the custom domain once Google confirms proper ownership of the domain (to prevent spammers and such). Gmail has a setting for "send email as" which allows gmail to be sent using a custom domain as the sender. I'm pretty sure Apple's old mobileme had this feature too, but I didn't use it.
