So I have an iPad 2 and I stopped using it for a couple of months and now I tried to hard reset it and got it to work but it says the iPad is connected through Find My Phone to my previous account and I can't seem to be able to solve the problem. I no longer have the receipt so it's hard to prove I am the owner. I bought it used but the owner didn't also have the receipt. I get that this is something difficult to solve but can someone give me a hand?!

If you were unable to convince a person that you are ther owner of the ID and ipad, then I doubt any computer system process will do it either.

I don't believe this can be done since your using the same apple id. It would be like calling your own phone number and getting a busy signal.

They can't read all of his messages, only his iMessages. This sounds like an issue your "friend" needs to take up with his parents. If he is a minor and his parents pay for his iPhone then they are most likely within their rights.

How Can I Get The iPad To Auto-Play My Movie When Selected?

When selecting a movie from the shared tab on my iPad it shows my the splash screen with the cover art on the right and on the left I have a movie summary along with cast. The top of the left pane it has the chapters or the play button. When I select the play button I would like it to start playing the movie. What it does is the screen goes black and thats it.
If I tap the black screen I get the video controller pop up and then I have to select the play button again to get the movie to play.
I was pretty sure that before the movie would play after selecting play from the initial movie splash screen.

How can i get my AVI's to play with sound, whenever i load them there is a pop up directing me towards the quicktime page that has the add ons (CC, xvid, dvix etc) i tried converitng to divx and still no sound. HELP!

You can't, i'm sorry. What you're running into is the activation lock and it requires that the original owner release it with their apple ID before you can set it up.

Also when I am trying to connect ipad to my windows PC, it shows, your software is up to date and later starts restoring while updating again. Then automatically it stops to update halfway and I have to repeat the process again and again, still in vain.

If it's reached the point where you can't try re-entering the code then you will need to connect the iPad to the computer that you normally sync to and you should then be able to reset the iPad and re-sync your content to it - from http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212
If you repeatedly enter the wrong passcode, your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch will be disabled for longer intervals before you can try again. After too many unsuccessful attempts, you won't be able to try again until you connect it to the computer with which you last synced it.
