I have so many programs on my computer, I don't know how to disable them, can you help?, thanks

then uninstall what programs you no longer need

I have Vista, recently switched from Internet Explorer to FireFox 3.6-. Since switching over, it can't download alot of versions/updates like Adobe Flash: It error messages: "INSTALLER WILL CONTINUE AFTER CONFLICTING MOZILLA FIREFFOX IS CLOSED".
Most pics blocked on sites/programs. I can't open some programs that Explorer opens. I would sure appreciate any help!!!

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.

If the advice above doesn't resolve things you could try this alternate version:
iTunes 12.1.0.71 for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) - itunes64setup.exe (2015-01-28)
which is a 64-bit installer for the 32-bit version of the core application, similar to previous 64-bit releases. Or roll back to the previous build:

"Auto Save" is Apple's term, I guess. Its controls are so well-hidden I'm flying blind here.

I think Auto Save is one of the dumbest things Apple has ever come up with -- oh so typical of what Bill Gates used to give people: lots of extra stuff no one ever asked for, and no one at his company ever thought through.
Say there's a conflict with a program or two I'm trying to use. Machine locks up. I force quit and shut down -- probably without ever seeing the option of stopping Auto Save.
When I open up again, what am I faced with? Yup, exactly the same mess I just tried to get away from.

They are free to iOS 7 users who have activated their NEW device on Sept 1 2013 or after. They are NOT automatically free with iOS 7.
AirDrop is only compatible with iPad 4th gen and iPad mini. iPad 3rd gen and below do contain the necessary hardware for AirDrop. Also, AirDrop is only compatible between iOS devices. You cannot AirDrop between iOS device and Mac OS.

However although I prefer the one window view of List mode to the two windows My Podcast mode, My Podcast mode does at least indicate how many unplayed episodes I have from each podcast. This would almost be acceptable except that partially listened to podcasts, while still there, can only be identified by highlighting the podcast title on the lefthand sidebar, (although the number of completely unplayed episodes are listed on the left hand sidebar). As someone who often listens to a podcast over two or more days I fear I could forget which ones I have only partially listened to and would have to go down the entire left hand sidebar list highlighting each podcast to remind myself. I really find the List mode the most informative and easiest way to view my podcasts and really wish Apple had not messed with it

Almost all PDF files produce the "this PDF document might not be displayed correctly" message when viewed with the built-in PDF viewer.
This message does not convey useful information. It appears on almost all PDF files (even though they usually work correctly after all); it sometimes fails to appear even on files that don't work (so it does not accurately predict whether a given file will work); when a file doesn't work, there is no way to make it work short of using an external viewer (so the error I'm being warned about is not something I can fix); and it demands a user action to dismiss it EVERY TIME it appears (so it places a disproportionate demand on my attention). How can I disable it?
Please note that I am not looking for instructions on how to disable the built-in PDF viewer. I just want to turn off the warning message.

The only way to stop this message is to disable the built-in PDF Viewer and use another viewer.<br />
On Linux you only have an older version of the Adobe Reader available, so you may have to open the PDF files in an external viewer like evince.
You can set the pdfjs.disabled pref to true on the <b>about:config</b> page to disable the build-in PDF viewer.
You can check the value of the plugin.disable_full_page_plugin_for_types pref on the about:config page and remove the application/pdf part if present or reset the pref to the default via the right-click context menu if you want to display PDF documents in Firefox with another application (i.e. not the built-in PDF Viewer).

How can I delete the podcasts that show up as being in the cloud when viewing them in the List mode? Most of these are past episode that I previously downloaded and then deleted. I know that I can look at my podcasts in Unplayed mode which removes those in the cloud but then I can't sort them first by podcast title and then by episode date the way I can in List mode. This was not a problem before iTunes 11.1 when I could simply delete those in the cloud.

Seriously , since arrays of generic types are disallowed, there is probably no way to get rid of these warnings - which makes a strong point for eliminating "unchecked" warnings altogether (see the other thread "selectively suppressing compiler warnings")

The usual method to influence whether an item should be printed or not is to adjust the function which lies underneath the item (simply return FALSE when you don't need it. You can also adjust the input and then return TRUE). I hope this will help you to solve your problem.

Hello, I am a teacher from Spain. I am creating a PDF from a power point presentation, using Adobe Acrobat 9 pro. I will copy it in a cd and give it to my students. I would like to add these restrictions:
I would like to avoid that they can copy this document.
I only want to allow them to print it once.

You can prevent copying of content (text and images) by setting permissions on the PDF file using Acrobat (apply password security, leaving the document open password empty).
It is not possible to limit the number of times a PDF file is printed, no matter what settings you use. Printing can be disabled completely, or restricted to low-resolution output, but that is all. Even if it were somehow possible to restrict how many times Reader or Acrobat was allowed to print, there is no way to stop someone changing the copy number in the operating system print dialog, as that is beyond the control of any installed program. A printable PDF file can also be printed to another PDF file (called refrying), which will remove any interactive restrictions on the original.
Note that permissions security is only respected by Adobe software. Third-party applications will often ignore the restrictions and allow all operations. The only way to truly protect the file is to apply a security method which is only found in Adobe products (such as LiveCycle policies), which will as a side-effect prevent anyone from opening the file in a third-party application that might not respect the restrictions.
