How can I disable the menu bar to pop up when I move the cursor to the top of the screen?

Greetings, guys!
I'm completely new to Os X.
I want to know if the menu bar can be disabled not to appear when moving to the screen top.
It unnecessarily appears when I play a shooting game like Contract Killer in Full-screen Mode, in which I occasionally happen to move the cursor to the top.

There are 2 Fullscreen modes for some games. And some games only use 1 of them. The usual Fullscreen that you'd expect, and the one we call "Borderless Window".
The classic Fullscreen utilizes all your display and things like menu bar, OSD's, "Always On Top" windows won't pop up while you are playing. But the Borderless Window is just a window that has the same resolution and dimensions with your desktop, and has no borders. Other elements like menu bars, OSD's and "Always stay on top" windows can get into your way while playing. And it's also slower than the classic fullscreen.
Check if your game offers any option of selecting between these 2 Fullscreen Modes, and select the classic fullscreen mode.

Due to eyesight issues, I need to have the menu bars of programs in easy-to-read font and picture size. Specifically, the menu bar across the top (File, Edit, View, etc.), and the menu bar on the left side with the graphic depiction of options.
In earlier versions of Windows (e.g. XP), whenever I changed the screen resolution on my computer to a lesser resolution in order to show the link icons on my desktop in a larger, more readable size, all the software programs, including yours, appeared on my screen with the menu bars in the larger font size that I needed.
However, in Windows 7, this is not the case. Even though I have selected the lowest resolution, making the icons on my desktop extremely large, I cannot read the options across the top menu bar of your program, nor the pull-down menu items that they contain. I cannot see the graphic depictions of options on the left side of the screen. They are all too small. How can I make your program increase the size?

CS6 is not high-DPI compatible/ enabled and that can't be changed. If you cannot6 make it work with your operating system means, then short of joining Creative Cloud and using newer versions there is nothing you can do.

I have also been experiencing the same problems. Mac user since 1991. I own various machines but this particular problem lies with a MacBook Pro 2008 using 10.5.4
The laptop has two users. One is fine while one is not. A new user was created but upon logging in for the first time the right hand side of the menu bar blinked off and on just like the existing user. No hard drives have been connected. All files backed up via drag and drop wirelessly.
Since this development I have been unable to get to my iDisk; it might be related or coincidental. Last night I re-entered my .mac/MobileMe account details whereupon I was presented with a message saying the machine had not synced before. Not true. It had been syncing automatically since the day of purchase March 2008. I wonder if there is a connection between somewhere deep down in the Library, updated versions for 10.5.4 and MobileMe. Somewhere along the line a combination of events triggered the tool bar to start blinking...
It's strange how one user is fine (seldom used and DOES NOT have a MobileMe account) while the main one, me, is not fine (used heavily throughout the day and DOES have an active MobileMe account).
At this point, I don't intend to re-install and start all over again (I've done this so many times with other machines over the years that I was hoping those days had finally gone based upon Apple's brilliant recent advancements).
Any help or comments will be welcome.

How can I add "Tools" menu bar item to firefox orange button

After upgrading to FireFox 4 I decided to hide the menu bar, doing so I am not able to access the addons like "tamper data" which can be accessed only from the tools item of the menubar. Is there a way to customize the orange button of the firefox4 to add tools menu item?

I wrote two procedures.
DISABLE_INDEXES:
     On source:      select index_name from dba_indexes where table_name= '<%=odiRef.getTable("L","TARG_NAME","A")%> '
     On target:         alter index #index_name unusable
REBUILD_INDEXES
     On source:      select index_name from dba_indexes where table_name= '<%=odiRef.getTable("L","TARG_NAME","A")%> '
     On target:         alter index #index_name rebuild
And i used these two procedures in my package.

Title Bar stuck under the Menu bar and I cannot select and move it.

I often arrange windows around the desktop and sometimes I inadvertently push a window up too far and the title bar gets under the menu bar. Once I let go of the arrow, the title bar is too far under the menu bar and I can no longer reach it to move it down. The only solution is to close out the program and start over. Is there a way unbeknownst to me to select the title bar again and move it?

My E*Trade streaming watch list was stuck under the Menu Bar also. I tried reseting the screen resolution down to 1280 x 1024, and restarting the MarketTrader. There on the display was the stuck window, out from under. I resized and moved it to a central location, and resized the display back to my normal 1920 setting. And to my relief, the window Bar! With the newest auto update version of firefox there is now a white bar that pops up when you move your mouse over that area. i want that gone, how?

when you move your mouse underneath the address bar a white bar pops up, this makes it so you can't click buttons or links on websites, like login buttons for example. also when in full screen mode you can no longer mouse over tabs at the top of the screen, only that white bar shows up. that prtty much kills full screen usage for me. so that popup white bar and the full screen with the white bar without tabs has just about ruined firefox for me. anyway to fix this would be great.

How can I correct the automatic date/time updates for daylight savings on my iPhone. It updates these changes on the wrong dates and sends my calendar into chaos.

Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars. Is Time Zone Support on or off?
If you don't want the date and time updated automatically with your iPhone, you can turn this off at Settings > General > Date & Time > Set Automatically > Off.

The Menu Bar is missing, but not because it is in "full screen" or it is turned off. When I click it, it opens a whole different desktop-ish thing.

It is like it opens another desktop, and I have to slide my desktop to the right to get to mozilla. Although, it is solely for mozilla and is not a true other desktop. I can not find how to open it normally like it used too. I do not have any access to the menu bar for it. When it is in the mode, it does not show anything but the tabs and address bar. It does not even show the dock unless I scroll to the left to my main desktop. I am clueless and can not find anything anywhere on the web. Does anyone have a clue?

It seems like you are stuck in the Fullscreen mode.
Try to press "Shift+OptionKey+F" at the same time to move out of that mode and restart Firefox to confirm that everything is ok.
In a related note, your Firefox seems to be outdated, so I will suggest you to go to www.mozilla.org and download the latest version of it.

Stop the menu bars

I want to put an HTML element on a full page 1024x768, and would like readers to use the content interactively by clicking on links. However, when clicking on the HTML links, the app´s menu bars pop up. Obviously, it doesn´t recognize that the web frame is an interactive area. Is there a way to prevent the menu bars from opening? (As for now, I have ony tested it in the Content Viewer, but will eventually be using the Adobe app that supports the Woodwing plugins as well.)

This is a known problem and Adobe could not solve this. when you tap on
HTML, the viewer always appears. That should only when not clicking on
interactive HTML elements — but how to determine? is clear, but a
can be a button in html, too.

In /etc/sysctl.d i have test it with the file: ipv6.conf:
net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6 = 1

But this doesnt work.

What I would recommend is not to set implicit or redundant parameters:
net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6 = 1
net.ipv6.conf.default.disable_ipv6 = 1
There is no need to disable the "default" interface, since it is already included in the "all" statement.
I do not know, but there could be a possibility that such statements disable the network card in question, but in turn enable every other. In such case, your 2nd statement invalidates the first. Perhaps that was was part of the problem when using your other configuration.

i need to change image to autonomous and i m trying everything. i m trying to find wayout the cisco 1552e hell... problem is 1552e doesn t use ftp, tftp, scp or other protocols. i installed the wireshark to server notebook and listen the network. other machines, pc notebook etc. connecting to server ftp, tftp ,scp and all other ports perfectly just the freak 1552e doesn t. 1552e ping to server also server ping to 1552e. it totaly normal but when i try :
