How can i disable the registration pop up when a new user logs in each time?

i work at a University and i install FCE 4, it launches and it comes to a registration screen.
how can i get that registration screen to go away so that when new users log into the Mac
they wont get that registration screen pop up?
any help would be great.

No, it's Windows XP. Hmmm, I don't know! I only started noticing it recently and as far as I remember, the only new add on is NoScript. I found the event that was being triggered (Start Connection) and disabled the sound in Windows. When I add a new event in Calendar on my computer (Macbook using Yosemite) and then start to type an address or place in the location field, a pop-up list of locations appears from which I can choose. Seems the only way I can ignore this pop-up list is to hit the tab button as soon as I have finished typing. This doesn't occur on my iphone or iPad (I can just click "done" and ignore the list). For txt messages you can change the option of whether previews are shown (Settings >> Messages >> Show Preview Toggle). Switching this "Off" will still show a notification of a missed txt message, but it will not show text from the message itself.
Unfortunately, similar functionality does not currently exist for phone calls; however, the new iOS release (scheduled for September, I think rumor has it) will revamp the way notifications are handled, and there maybe an elegant solution for you then.

I'm trying to deploy FF 4.0rc1 in a corporate environment but I can't find a way to set the default home page or any other settings for that matter.
Is there a way to set the default home page for all new users and lock it so that the users can't change home page?

In Firefox 4 the template folder for new profiles (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\defaults\profile\
) doesn't exist. You can create that \defaults\profile\ folder and place a file user.js in it with the prefs that you want to initialize.

How can I disable the telemetry prompt in kiosk mode from user preference.

We are running firefox in kiosk mode , I am using r_kiosk plugin to disable all the functionality, and update the user pref with following , but still getting the telemetry prompt is showing up.

Which firmware your N8 having now? You can check firmware by choosing Call, then type *#0000#.
My N8 works fine on security setting and able to define Phone auto lock period, by choosing Menu>Settings>Phone>Phone management>Security settings>Phone and SIM card>Phone auto lock period>User defined>Lock after(minutes)
You will prompt to enter Lock code each time u define auto lock priod or enable/disable auto lock.

Is it an IMAP or POP account?

It's possible you may be able to trick it by creating an Applications folder in your Home directory and moving Safari to it.
I can't test this but it might work. The problem is that you would miss Safari updates, so you'd have to keep an eye out for them. Another solution may be to download another Safari and install in yourname/Applications.

you should be able to turn off and on with FN and + to turn on then FN and the - button i think it was to turn off the backlight it's on number pad area to the right you should see light form icon showing light is on and then another 1 that is showing it's off

I am still seeing the option Image Capture, like shown in the screenshot that Rysz posted. But it is another example of the hide-and-seek Apple likes to play with us.
The option has to be set for each device individually. With the device connected to USB, you have to click the tiny disclosure triangle in the lower left corner of the sidebar to reveal the option.
I was perfectly happy with the program I paid for (Aperture), and now to maintain the functionality I have to pay for another application (LightRoom) to get the functionality that I paid for in Aperture.
Aperture 3.6 is working well with Yosemite. I will use it, as long as I have a Mac, that will run Yosemite or a compatible system.
Have you looked at Capture One? It looks much more similar to Aperture than Lightroom.
