How can I display a complete category on my sites home page with product images?

I have a site which I am tryingt o make as user friendly as possible for the customer and want to display products on the home page of the website which are all located within one category. Essentially I want to display the products with image, price and buy now buttons as they are displayed within a normal category but on the home page of the site.
Appreciate any help with this.

I'm sorry, but I'm not sure that I understand your question correctly. I understand that you want to keep Gmail as your homepage, but I am not sure what you mean by setting Firefox as your server.
Are you trying to access the Firefox "start page"? If so, you can do by opening a new tab, and typing '''about:home''' on the address bar, and pressing '''Enter'''.

I've created a report and have added a link (to a html url) to one of the columns. Whenever i click that column in a row, a new page appears. At this moment this page is static. However, i want to show the details of the selected row in the report. This means that somehow i have to pass a parameter to the second page with the primary key of the selected report row.
Is there any way to do this?

You can do this using SQL based reports.
Here is an example
select ''||empno||'' emplink,ename
from SCOTT.EMP
Here the link "http://forums.oracle.com/forums/message.jsp?id=" takes a parameter whose value is the empno.
In the column formatting section of SQL reports you should display this column as HTML and not TEXT.

How can I put a div at the TOP of the page with a background color? No white space

I am attempting to put an orange bar at the very top of a page and one that also stretches across the entire width of the page, no matter the page size.
With the code below the orange bar appears but there is white space between the top of the browser and the orange bar.

If I have opened firefox, and I am on my igoogle home page, and if I click the add page button to open a new window, the new pages opens to a blank internet page where I have to type in the new web address I want to go to. You can accomplish this via Portal. Log in as a site administrator (Portal or Portal_Admin). On the Portal Builder page, go to the Services portlet & click on the Global Settings link. Here you can set the Default Home Page from a list of pages in Portal.
If you change the default home page, this will also impact your administration accounts. I strongly recommend changing their profiles to use the Portal Builder home. Otherwise you may lock your admin accounts out from being able to make changes. You can either 1) create a group, add admins to group, & create a group profile or 2) modify the admin account's profile(s) In the main Portal Builder page, on the right you should see portlets for Portal User Profile and Portal Group Profile & they each have a Default Home Page settings. The order of precendence is Global -> Group -> User.

I can't start a new site or page...since I've moved some page among different sites and the program got stuck. I did quit to start it again, but now it's not possibel to use iWeb.

I was reading futher the forum about deleting pages and sites and someone sugest to delete first a file from Preferences folder under Library.
And it's works on the first hit!

You can find in knowledge exchange a script to create an flash file item type. With this installed you can add a flash file to an item region on a page.
