How can I display my apple tv on two TVs

I have an Apple TV 3rd gen and I would like to display it on two tv screens
I've seen on amazon and eBay spliters that range from $10 to $50 but hear mixed reviews about them such as they get too hot and burn out after a few weeks or months I would like a more reliable spliter
I don't necessarily need both TVs to display at the same time I would like to be able to use either one of the TVs with out having to swap out the hdmi wire everytime or with out having to press a button to switch between the displays. I want to just turn on either one of the TVs and just be able to use the Apple TV
Any suggestions?

I have downloaded/purchased them off itunes but through my apple TV so I was wondering if it will then play if i just connect it through another tv will it then play like a dvd as I'm assuming they would continue to be saved on my apple TV like a hard drive. Or will I need the internet to watch them through my itunes account?

The correct answer is only with a limited number of apps, you cannot share the iPad screen, unfortunately. YouTube, iPhoto. I am very disappointed keynote presentations are not supported.

1) turn on homesharing on ATV (in settings menu)
2)turn on homesharing in itunes (open itunes. click Advanced. turn on home sharing)
3)in itunes click advanced... choose photos to share.
4)this will then share the selected pictures within homesharing
5)view the photos on the ATV by going to menu heading "computer".... then browse to the pictures folder.
6) view pictures as desired on ATV.

I don't think you can. You might ensure that their creation dates are in order, but I'm not so such that will help. Ordering seems to be a feature limited to use with iPhoto/Aperture.

Sync with iTunes so you have a backup. Tap Settings > General > Reset > Erase all content and settings. Restore the unit as New. Reconfigure for your new ID and password. Restore your apps, etc. from backup.

Give it a more intuitive name than "Status Bar"... "status" is what is shown at the top of the window along with the Artist and Song Title, e.g.; how far into the song/podcast/video I've played and how much is left,
Put the keyboard commands in a more prominent place in their release notes when version 11 came out so we could more easily find the information they decided to hide in this attempt to make the desktop less cluttered and
Allow us the option of displaying the data size along with the song count and duration just beneath the playllist title. The status bar is a redundant listing of information except for the data size! Poorly conceived!
Perhaps Apple will remedy this in a future release. For those of us who like to burn our playlists to CD, DVD and even a thumb drive this information is essential. WIthout it, we're left to guess whether a given playlist will fit on our target device.

I have some JSP pages that access DB, create an XML based on DB data and then transform it into HTML through an XSLT stylesheet. Developing the XSL code it's easy to make mistakes and generate errors on trasformation, but what I receive on the web page is only a "Could not compile stylesheet" TransformerConfigurationException, while the real cause of the error is displayed only on tomcat logs. This is the code for transformation:

This code is part of a bigger project that let developers edit XSL stylesheets through a file upload on the system and we can't impose the use of any tool for checking the xsl. So, I need to display the transformer error on the web page.I see. This code is part of an editorial/developmental tool for developers to create and edit XSL stylesheets.
As part of the editorial process, XSL errors during editing can be considered a normal condition. In other words, it is normal to expect that the developers will generate XSL errors as they are developing stylesheets.
In this light, handling the XSL transformation errors is a business requirement that you need to handle. Using the Java Exceptions mechanisms, e.g. try / catch are inappropriate to handle business requirements, in my opinion.
I suggest that you look at how you handle the occurence of XSL errors differently than what you currently have. You need to:
(1) capture the Transformation exception on the server;
(2) extract the message from the exception and put it into a message that can be easily understood by the user;
The current error message that you have going to the web browser is not useful.
And you should not have the Transformation exception sent to the web browser either.
What you are attempting to do with the exception is not appropriate.
Handle the Transformation exception on the Business tier and use it to create a useful message that is then sent to the Presentation tier. In other words, do not send Java exceptions to web browser.
