How can i Display my images in cover flow view in Keynote?

I am working on a project .I am on Mavericks . I need to make a presentation of my project ideas . My project involves showing some images in cover flow view . So, is there any way i can show my images in cover flow view in keynote or pages app or by using any other app .

Keynote is an screen based presentation application
Pages is a page layout application for print output
Coverflow is a viewing option of the finder to look at the contents of a folder
To create a slideshow of your images, open Keynote and drag and drop images from a folder into the Navigator pane then press the play button
The Navigator panel is the side panel on the left

How can i display a portlet in the Edit view only ?

Dear All,
I'm developing a portal in which the end user can change the content of the portal page (personalize) using Edit smart link and i ask How can i display a portlet in the Edit view only ? not shown in the production view ?

Last time I heard with Oracle they said the only way is to look at the current URL. If it contais _mode=16 then we are in edit mode.
This is a function I use:

Blurry images in cover flow view

why do my tiff files (primarily) look so blurry when I switch to cover flow view on my new mac? I've seen posts about this issue as far back as 2007- has apple still not fixed this, or is it just me? As a photographer it's a major annoyance to have to zoom in on each image to get a good look at it. Little help?

I actually figured out the answer to this one myself, with the help of someone's previous post about creating new thumbnails with a little app called CocoThumbX, which can be used to strip image files of their thumbnails and create new ones. I almost gave up on it, because the new thumbnails I was generating from it didn't show up any clearer. But then I used it to remove thumbnails only, without creating new ones afterward, and the images now look as they should in cover flow. I don't know if there are any negative side effects of not having thumbnails, or even where the original thumbnails were located in the system, but wherever needed, the computer seems to be generating it's own thumbnails for the images, and they're looking good. Hope this helps.

ITunes 7.3.2: ArtWork does not match Images on Cover Flow View and iPod

Hello everyone, this is my first post, thanks in advance for any and all help.
I have loaded most of my music collection onto iTunes, and authorized it to get album artwork. It has only found about 60% of my cover art (I have a lot of international discs, etc.), and of what it does find maybe 60% is correct. So I have spent a lot of time adding artwork by either scanning in cover art or cutting and pasting from the web. I go to "Get Info" and check the artwork tab all the time to make sure that only artwork that is correct or that I have added is attached to each of my song files.
However, I have noticed that there is a significant amount of my song files that, when I use cover flow view, or when I play the songs on my video iPod, the artwork that is on the artwork pane and what appears on the cover flow view don't match. Or the artwork that is in the artwork pane (and the only artwork in the get info artwork section) and what shows up on my iPod, don't match up. It is, for an OCD completist like me, rather annoying.
As an example, I have a lot of compilation albums. I have probably 13 different albums by different artists but which all have the same name of "The Ultimate Collection". There are some tracks for each album where the artwork pane and the cover flow view artwork match, but not all of the tracks.
I selected "group compilations when browsing", but that doesn't help. I selected all the tracks from the same album and clicked yes to whether it is a compilation, and that didn't work.
Does anyone have a simple, QUICK solution for making the artwork I have put in the artwork pane override or force itself on the cover flow view? Horrible phrasing I know, but thank you in advance for your help!

I had the same problem when I updated to 7.3, but I was able to fix it.
As far as I can tell, itunes 7.3 sees all music files (in your user/itunes/music folder) with the extension .mpg as quicktime movies, not mp3's and itunes won't let you add a cover to them. The problem is that songs imported as mp3's by previous versions of iTunes were all given the extension .mpg and not .mp3 (at least on my machine). I was able to fix the problem by simply changing the .mpg to .mp3 for all of my songs. As soon as I did this, the album artwork showed up again.
You have a few options for how you change the extension. You can right click on every file in your itunes library and select "Show In Finder" to change the file extension, or if you have many songs to fix (I had 793) you can download 'A Better Finder Rename' (search for it at www.versiontracker.com, it costs $20 to change more than 10 files at a time) which will make the changes automatically. If you are cheap you can always set up an automator work-flow to get the job done.

Does anyone know how I can display images from within APEX that are found outside the database? What configuration have I missed?
Within Windows-Internet-Explore I can access the following image using the below URLs, BUT I cannot access it from within APEX?
What do I need to do so APEX can display theses images from our internal shared network folder?
both these URLs work within Firefox (but on APEX):

file://///Saremote/UPDOWNFILES_DIR/polk_insight.GIF
So within APEX I have created a "display as Text' Item that works with this "amazon image" syntax:

BUT sadly not with my image:

If you have a local html file, or open an image locally from the menu, then yes, it works, but with web pages that are served from a remote location (web server), security kicks in and prevents the web page from accessing local files (and files on a networked drive).
you will either have to put the image on the web server and access it through http, or you can load it into the database/workspace images and access it that way.

How can I display three images in video rate succession (60 Hz)?

For a structured illumination microscope application, I have developed a VI that creates three images and displays them in rapid succession (as fast as the loop will go) on a second monitor.
From the naked eye it's pretty apparent that the loop is not displaying the images at video rate. Is there a way (perhaps with some sort of buffer) to get them to display faster? Is WinShow simply not going to be fast enough, and if not, what's an alternative method of displaying the images? If it helps, the images need only be displayed once each (the loop was just for testing).
Also, what is a way to measure the frame rate output of the images?
(sorry for the sloppy code, new to LabView)

Hello,
Why don't you try drawing one window, call IMAQ WindShow once outside of the loop, then redraw that window each iteration within the loop. Hopefully this stops the flutter of the window. You can build a 3 element array of the 3 IMAQ images then use an index array to alternate through which image you want to be redrawn into the single window. The constant calling of IMAQ WindShow seems messy.

Transparent images in cover flow view mode

Hi out there & hello to the forum.
I searched a bit, but all I found was a thread in the Finder and Dock section ([http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1553972&tstart=0]). Using CocoThumbX I managed to get the image transparent in Cover Flow in the Finder. But in iTunes the cover still has a white background. Does anyone know if this is a known bug in iTunes or if there is a workaround?

How can I display the descriptor column from a view in my BR message

I have a table, Memberships, that contains a column for staff id. The staff data is on a remote database and I have created a view to access the required data. I have set the descriptor sequence for the name column of the staff view but the BR still displays the id.
I'm assuming that because staff is a view and has no capi of its own, the membership capi cannot call the staff capi function display_label.
I still would like to display the name of the staff member instaid of the ID. Can anyone suggest a workaround to force the display but without having to customize the membership capi after it has been created by headstart?

try altering the code to create the capi.
I modified this code allready quite a lot to achieve my goals.
I also had that problem, and solved it by altering the code that generates the display_label. For each display_label funtion, I add a call to a package- function 'APPPA_LABEL.display_label' with parameters the tablename and the pk of the record. In the packagefunction, you can write your own definition of the display-label.
The Productivity Boosters look a bit difficult in the beginning, but when you get to know them, you can achieve some good results.

How can I display a PDF in Fit-Page View mode in Firefox?

I would like to use Firefox to view PDF documents from the web - but cannot get the PDF fit-page view to be a Firefox option. For large PDF files, I then have to scroll slowly through them - whereas in Adobe Reader, I can view them page by page and scan through it much quicker.
