How can I display the same page when I'll press

i have a jsp page. It contains user name & password.
and a link like SIGNOUT COMPLETELY. when i press the back button it should show only this page.
You have noticed one thing that when u sign out from YHAOO MAIL then a page is displayed
USERNAME : [email protected]
PASSWORD :XXXXXXXXXX
SIGNOUT COMPLETELY
when this page is dispalyed and u press the back button of the browser
it displays the same page. How it happens?

1).maintain either a HttpSessionListener or a session flag try to checkout whether the user is active or else close the PrintWriter.
2).Prevent caching of the webpage by using customary meta tag or by response,setHeader("Cache-Control","no-cache");

I usually use the Message class, for handling all possible validations. In the DO_HANDLE_DATA, do the validation, and if your validation fails, put your message in the message attribute available for that method. As you have not given a pointer to a new page, it will refresh that same page.
If your validation is successful, go to next page.
In the layout of this page(where you require validation), there is an attribute called page and it has get_message method. Call that method at the appropriate place in the layout.

How can I display application offline page when OAS is offline?

I am using IIS with oracle_proxy.dll redirecting to my oracle application server. When I do maintenance on the application and stop the OAS service the end-user gets the HTTP 500 - Internal server error from Internet Explorer. I would prefer for them to see a custom page that displays that the application is offline for maintenance. I tested with IIS custom error pages but that is not where the 500 page is coming from. The page being displayed is the IE friendly HTTP error message. I can't see how a configuration on the Oracle application server would help because the service is offline. Is there anything I can do to explain to the users that this is a scheduled maintenance and display a more informative page? I understand the solution may involve stopping, changing a configuration file in IIS and restarting. If so how can I script that so it can be easily done and what is the easiest way to do it?

How can I hide the master page when saving a pdf?

I designed a form that uses a master page so that I can use headers and footers without changing 10 different pages. When I save to PDF so the form can be filled out it saves the Master Page as the first page though it has no content. I have to save the PDF as a static file because it needs to be filled out on the iPad.

Not really. Acrobat must display at least one page of the form. You can set the presence of all of your Design Pages to hidden, but Acrobat will display at least one instance of the Master Page.
The Master Page is available in LC Designer for objects that you want to repeat on more than one page. Yes, typically this includes header and footer objects.
If you want to hide all of your main form pages, then include a blank page and display this when hiding all of the other pages. See an example here: http://assure.ly/frjYW5.

How can I duplicate the same table in 3 pages?

hi everybody!
i have a form with a master page (containing the invoice fields) and 3 body pages that reference the master page.
in each one of these 3 pages there is a table with one header row, 7 body rows and a footer row.
the table was copied and pasted from page 1 to page 2 and page 3.
between the body rows there are two rows that are bound with table data, one for invoice details and one for tax details.
my problem is that in the 2nd and 3rd page in pdf output invoice and tax details are empty, while the other lines are present.
it seems like there is a table index that loops once in the first page until it reaches the end of the table, so for page 2 and 3 it is already at the end...
my question is: how can i get the same complete table in three form pages?

Not sure I follow .....are you asking for Page 2 and 3 to have the same table and values in the table as on Page1 or does each page have unique data?
Where is the data coming from? Is the user typing it in or is there a separate data source somewhere?

i need to display a message box whenever an error comes in my jsp. Actually my appln is that i am creating a bar chart using one applet by taking data from the database. When a user does not select a number data for y axis, now in the centre of the web page one java error is coming. "not in number format". it is looking very odd.

displaying as a message box?Either way. You can have the JSP send a message to the applet to display a message box. Or you can just have the JSP do it. or you can have the applet detremine if the JSP would produce an error and then display the message it would display.

Thanks. I tested it, and found that I can create a bookmark in FolderA, and them manually copy it to FolderB, FolderC, and FolderD.
Once that is done, I tried the old method of "Bookmarks" --> "Bookmark This Page" and added it to FolderE. When I did that, it deleted the copy in FolderD but left the other three alone!
This is fine with me. I personally think this is a bug, because I don't think that Firefox should ever delete a bookmark without asking me (or at least, informing me). But now that I understand the algorithm, I can work around it. Thanks!

The second page will be displayed only when the data does not fit in the main window of the first page and continues to the second page.
So make sure that you have enough number of line to print that it overflows to second page.

If you're reading your data in as a 1D array, this is as simple as using the Reshape Array to make a 2D array. I've attached an example in LabVIEW 6.1 format. The example rearranges a single column of data fill several columns horizontally, but you can easily modify this code to fill the columns downward instead.
