How can i do a batch resize and watermark on an entire file of images

I would like to resize and watermark all of the image in a particular file. I understand that I can do this with Lightroom, but I do now know how.
Can someone give me some helpful pointers.

If you mean "entire folder of images" instead of "entire file of images", then select the desired folder, then select all images (Ctrl-A), then export the photos. In the export dialog box are the options that will allow you to set the desired size and set the desired watermark.

I have also requested help through ForeFlights Tech help but have yet to receive an answer.

first what do u mean by auto resizing ? if u mean the layout that automatically aligns itself then ..... if that's yr question then u need to set the layout to null
if using netbeans then right click on the the mainPanel and setlayout to null if eclipse the frame.getContent.setlayout(null);

How can a Swing JWindow be resized without flickering?

I'm having trouble trying to get a custom UI I have made based on JWindow to resize in an acceptable way due to the amount of flicker.

I have tried various attempts at (manual) double buffering but it seems that nothing can help with the fact that the top window's ComponentPeer is resizing the window and drawing it with a 'stale' view of the layout and then doing the new layout afterwards. This happens for me in Windows XP and Ubuntu Linux under Sun/Oracle Java 1.6.0_u22 (latest), and apparently in Windows 7 too.
I am unsure if this is a bug, defect or is this way by design. I also notice that Netbeans suffers from the same issue on resizing but Eclipse does not. Does this mean that Swing is currently incapable of laying out/painting a top level Component to a back buffer before drawing to the screen? Does this affect/annoy anyone else?
Or if not, any ideas how a smooth redraw can be achieved?
I understand that this issue does not bother everyone, but for custom UIs like the one I am trying to achieve the result is not really acceptable.
Any help much appreciated!

Thanks that's an interesting approach, I think I may use...
AWTUtilities.setWindowShape(jWindow, newshape)...on a JWindow set to be the same size as the entire desktop as I need the UI to remain in place whilst allowing mouse and key events to reach other applications.

Hi Dakota. We do something simular with our nightly MRP job. Our MRP job runs around midnight, then we kick off another job about 4am which checks to see if any of the jobs in question have abended, if so, then it sends an email to the email addresses specify in the report variant. Of course, this could be modified to check for successfully complete jobs, if that is your requirement.

It's almost impossible. The new iMacs have a Target Display Mode, but it's built to do that. Without ripping your screen out, finding an acceptable power supply, frame, and whatever electronics to convert a Thunderbolt signal to the screen, the cost will be much larger than buying a cheaper HiDef monitor that runs with an HDMI to Thunderbolt cable to your MacBook 15. In fact, you can sell your 17" MBP for a lot of money, unless it's broken or something, buying you a really sweet monitor.

I am unable to update my album art on my iMac since I started using Match (and after upgrading to Yosemite 10.10.3). A message advises that it's not possible to removed old artwork if it's embedded. How can I 'unembed' old cover art and replace?

Normally artwork recovered with iTunes is stored as a separate artwork file and iTunes refers to that file to display artwork when you click on a track. However, if you then copy the file to another player the artwork file is left behind and the track will not display the artwork on the other player. To get around this it is possible to embed the artwork in the music file itself so it always travels with the file. Artwork can be embedded by you or files from third party sources may arrive with embedded artwork. iTunes apparently now won't replace artwork for such files. You can accomplish this by completely deleting artwork for a file or set of files in Get Info, then getting iTunes to fetch artwork which will then be set as a reference file rather than being embedded.
I use an old iTunes so unless you are using an ancient iTunes it won't help for me to give you great details. To erase artwork I simply get info on a series of files and check the box next to the artwork box without adding any artwork and close. To do it for single file I Get Info, go to the artwork display tab and click delete. Here's a Windows reference for a newer iTunes (but the "old Get Info" reference is for early iTunes 12 and no longer works with newer):I cannot delete embedded album artwork in iTunes 12
