How can i downgrade? I am tired. Please Help Me Out!
Hi!
I am using my iphone 4 from past 6months with iOs 4.3.5. Yesterday, i thought of upgrading it to iOs 5.0.1. So, i did it. I am living in Pakistan so i am using a gevey sim. I unlocked the phone but gevey was not supported. I am not an advance user so after checking out different forums, i realized that the actual issue is firmware which has been upgraded to 04.11.08 which doesnt support the gevey. I have tried hundreds of time to find a way out to downgrade the firmware but i know there is no way. So, i want to downgrade it now. I have tried every solution but it is not working.
Please, help me out. I need a downgrade to iOs 4.3.5. Please try to suggest some thing in non-technical language as i am not an advance level user.

Thanks. Atleast some one replied here. So, this means my phone is useless now. I don't want to downgrade actually. I want to use my gevey sim on firmware 04.11.08. Thats it. Apple must have some solution for those who are using gevey as apple made the use of gevey legal. That is what i seen people barking out loud on forums.

However, inspite of the great features and look added to the splendid device with iOS5 the disc space of 2.5GB is showing for 'Other' while it is connected to my PC in Itunes. A simple search of these forums or google would have revealed tons of information.
Restore the device to clear up the 'corruption' that causes Other to grow that large. It should be in the range of 3-800mb, maybe slightly larger depending on how many SMS and MMS messages you have and the number of Apps. If a restore from backup does not significantly reduce the size of Other, then a restore as new will be required to reduce it's size. -
I have been trying to sync my iPhone and its not syncing. I've synced it before but now it has gone away. How can I re-sync it? Please help.

If it's reached the point where you can't try re-entering the code then you will need to connect the iPad to the computer that you normally sync to and you should then be able to reset the iPad and re-sync your content to it - from http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212

Check your email account. see if they are their, You can then import them on your DAV card, The best thing to is add them to icoud then they will be safe.

Please help me...My 12year old daughter has been talking to a older teenager through the text free app. How can I see the conversations? Also, there is a photo vault that is locked. What is that? As long as you can't get a hold of the device, you can't do anything more than talking to your daughter about it.
Erasing the device could also be an option to keep her from using apps you don't want her to have on her device.

If you have the installation disc for iLife and MS Office, then you can install it from there. With iPhoto, if you downloaded it from the Mac App Store, you can redownlad it fron the "Purchases" tab. -
My friend wanted to get some music off my itunes - when syncing it it said she had to update her phone software first - which it did. Now all her photos are gone. When we tried to restore the last back up - the only one was from when she used my itunes 6 months ago which was from her old iphone. So now it has put all her photos from her old phone onto her new iphone and deleted all the new ones. We cannot find her new photos. Please help and there was 100 new pics. Is there any way we can get them back. I already have the program Asoftech - but it doesnt seem to register the iphone only C and D drive. Please help!

It restored the backup that was made on your computer 6 months ago, which did not contain those photos. You're wasting your time trying to find them on the phone. They don't exist.
Hopefully, your friend syncs her phone to her own computer on a regular basis. She needs to plug her phone into her computer and restore it from her last backup. That will restore it to the state it was in when the backup was made.
She also needs to get in the habit of extracting the photos on a regular basis, like she would from any other digital camera. -

How can I remove parental controls? PLEASE HELP!
I just got my Mac-Mini, and sometimes when I want to do something on it, A screen with 'parental controls' pops up, and I have to enter a password, which I don't know. I've asked my parents if they did this, but they didn't! And after an hour, my Mac says: Your time is over, to add an extra hour, enter your password. How can I remove it? It's very annoying because I can't even go to Facebook, or Youtube.
The parents, if the mini were ever used officially by them and had any software
installed, bought music, updated the system, etc, would've used their Apple ID.
So, if through legitimate sources and correctly set-up, or if bought used and set
up with the new owner's information, installed new OS X, and etc, it would have
an Admin account or be accessible by the owner's Apple ID.
Before using suggested links to change an unknown Admin access password,
be sure to check, because if this unit has seen any software update, iTunes,
App Store or Mac App Store access, someone has an account and it may be
that would alter how the computer was used by them, if you change it now.
Also, to update or upgrade System software, and most online store access, does
require a valid payment card to be entered. If the parents are a party to this use,
then seems to reason, they should be in on what to change the new password to.
