How can I downgrade Triple Play to just FIOS Internet?

A couple of months ago, Triple Play seemed like a good deal. I only wanted Internet and TV, but Triple Play came out being the cheapest bundle with both of them. The deal was only available online. When I got it, then I found out that you have to rent a cable box to get TV service, which adds $10/month to the bill. It seemed horribly misleading - if it's actually required, I see no reason to make it a separate expense other than to conceal the true cost of the service - but overall still a good deal.
Now, I find I never watch TV. Ever. There's just no time for it. I like FIOS Internet, but I'm also paying for services that I don't use. And Verizon is making it very difficult to change this. There is no information about doing this at all on any of Verizon's pages. After calling customer support, I find out that the price I'm paying comes from a complicated array of discounts, which are only available to new customers, and would go away if I changed my bundle, meaning that I'd be paying much more if I got rid of the TV service. Not only that, I can't even return the cable box to reduce my monthly bill $10 - doing this would automatically disqualify me from the Triple Play discounts because I can't get TV service without it (even though I absolutely can, just with a very limited selection of channels - I've tried plugging the coax right into the TV and it works more or less).
So, what can I do? Xfinity's Performance bundle at $30/month is looking pretty attractive, and maybe after a 6 month trial period Verizon can consider me a "new customer" again. But if and only if there's a way I can just cut back on the services I don't use and make my bill go down instead of up, I'd just as soon not go to the trouble of changing ISPs.

"Services and fees" are something you can't do about because those are county's charges. As for the $10 charge for the cable box, I don't know what to say but they should have been free. Have you asked why you're being billed for the box? The offer you signed up for is probably alot different than the ones that exists today. Did they charge you for the box the first month you have services.

This is a copy of ONEof the keys in the registry I changed as told by Apple support today. I also have changed others as instructed by GEAR software support to manually delete GEAR drivers (that I had installed but couldn't delete some of the others they mentioned from Windows system 32. Then some bright spark at work told me I need the Gear drivers so I downloaded the software and installed again.

How can I Downgrade to Snow Leopard and keeping all 3rd party apps?

New to MacBookPro and really happy. With Lion...not so much. I want to downgrade to SL, however, apparently I must reformat the hard drive. Here´s the real question: If I have a backup of my entire HD with the user, docs and all the apps I have installed (on Lion), once I downgrade to Snow Leopard, can I just move all my apps from the back up disk I have made of my Lion-Running hard drive? In other words, How can I downgrade without having to reinstall every single third party app I have?

First, how new is this Mac? A Mac as a rule cannot boot to an older operating system version than that with which it was originally supplied. In other words, if this is a new MBP that came with Lion then you probably cannot get it to boot to SL.
Some applications (and I take it you do mean full "applications" rather than "apps" which are mobile device programs -- it helps to be clear o terminology) can just be dragged from place to place. Others, notably Adobe and Office, install things all over the place and unless you are good at finding hidden files with obscure names in 10 different places you will just have to re-install them.

I followed the rest of the instructions but it didn't help.
I did get it to quit opening tabs, instead it prompts me what it should do with the file every time now. What it should do, and used to do, is open the php page and display the HTML content.
Any other ideas?

How Can I Downgrade From 2.0?

Well, the Phone 2.0 upgrade to my 1st gen iPhone has killed my WiFi and it's pretty glitchy with email and a few other things.
How can I downgrade back to the previous version? Was it 1.4?

From what I've found it involves basically hacking the phone to some how trick iTunes into using 1.1.4, also requires an older version of itunes. I've heard the best chance is to tell apple your unhappy with 2.0 and they will give you another phone that still has 1.1.4 on it. Thats just what I've found on the internet, not official.

Most of my music files were bought from iTunes and they are the standard 128kbps quality, i also have a few songs i got elsewhere that are over 128kbps, how can i downgrade those songs down to 128kbps?

EDIT: I may have found a way to do this, i just right click on a song and select Convert Selection to AAC, then iTunes slooooowly creates a duplicate file that's 128kbps, is this the best way to downgrade?

You have to change the import settings in itunes to the bitrate (and format, MP3 or AAC) desired and import from the original file. Note that a MP3 or AAC file is "compressed". At 256k there isn't much loss in quality from an uncompressed original, but you may start to notice this at 128k. Furthermore, compressing from a compressed source is really the worst way to go about this and can add to the loss in quality because certain tricks are done in compressing and doing them twice doesn't always work right.
An AAC file is better quality than MP3, so a 192k MP3 may already be equivalent to a 128k AAC (I'm not sure exactly of the numbers).
Note that when you convert from a files the original is still intact and a new file is created.
In my opinion there is not reason to downgrade like that unless you are really hurting for space on your drive or there is some technical reason to do it.

There is a large thread concerning this, just look for it. The final answer is as college-kid491 said, SL does not have the drivers to suppport the 2011 Mac Mini's. People who have done this have gotten very poor performance and many things not working correctly, and have had to re-install Lion.

Go to the Apple store and buy a new phone, the iPhone 5 (not the 5S) and you will probably get a phone with the IOS 6 interface.
But be aware that many apps will no longer be offering updates for the older IOS. You either have to move forward and stay in the past.
IOS 7 is just a change in the look, the functionality is still there. OSes have to move on, change. Otherwise the vendor gets accused of staying in the past. I find no problem in the update except for the changes in the Calendar. I spent $5.00 and got another calendar that does more and works better. I also got a better Notes program for a few bucks. For less than the cost of a dinner meal I was able to improve my phone experience. Rather than complain, I adapted. Problem solved.

For iWeb, I like to do only one site per domain file. I move domain files out of the Application Support folder and place them inside project or client folders, or in DropBox. Once you duplicate a domain file and begin customizing it, it will load and behave as a separate project/site.
I publish each iWeb domain/project direct to a server via FTP. Sometime I publish to a folder, then upload via FTP manually.
iWeb is a remarkable tool, especially when you work from scratch with blank tamplates

But while trying the same in Reflow ePub, it is not working in iPad iBooks. I have latest iBooks version and latest iOS version in my iPad.
Please let me know how can I code to play audio continuously from page to page in iBooks for reflow ePub?

You can get Google Play service, you have to update to 10.3.
There is an article on CrackBerry, Cobalt's Google Apps Landing, that has complete instructions on installing 10.3 and the GP services.
Even though Verizon is giving the update, the leaks have been released by Chen & Co and they are stable.
The Amazon App Store is good.. but Snap is better (also on CrackBerry) :-)

A possibility is to open the links via the right-click context menu or a middle-click in a new tab to make sure that Firefox sees them as regular links.
