How can I download an earlier version of Firefox?
I am using an iMac computer. Some banking institutions will not recognize Firefox 5.0 and instead need to see Firefox 4.0. How can I download Version 4?
You can install the portable Firefox 3.6.19 version to access websites that do not work with Firefox 5+.

On many sites, I get the spinning color wheel when attempting to submit something. Most recently, it was the USPS change of address on the final submit page.
I don't want to upgrade to 6.0, since several of my add-ons will not work with it yet.http://theappledaily.com/2011/06/20/download-firefox-5-final-for-mac-os-x-windows-and-linux/

How can i download an older version of firefox
I need to download Firefox version 3.5 for school. I am inquiring if it were at all possible to access the old versions of firefox?
For those that really need an earlier version of Firefox, find your system and the Firefox version you want
in releases, download and start the install.
* ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/
:or with the latest of version 3
* http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all-older.html
: Note Mac OS X 10.4 user, and Mac OS X 10.5 users without Intel cannot upgrade to Firefox 4 or 5.
When reinstalling Firefox from a download, Firefox must be down once the installation starts. -

I have the 1.5 Ghz PowerPC G4 Mac OS X version 10.4.11 and I inadvertently deleted the old Firefox browser when I download Firefox 4. The original download did not recognize the limitations of the system's inability to support Firefox 4.
How could I download and install an older version of Firefox that is compatible with my MacFirefox 4 requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac.

For an unofficial Firefox 4 compatible version that runs on a PowerPC Mac with OS X 10.4.11 or OS X 10.5.8 you can look at:

Firefox 3.6.x (Mac OS X 10.4 and later) can be found here:

I'm encountering some sites that don't support Safari so I have to download Firefox. But I use Mac OS 10.5.8 and so I'd need an earlier version than the one available on your site for download. Can you help?
All of the earlier version are sorted here:
[http://ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/ Firefox All Releases]
However I think your OS is supported, too. Check here:
* [http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/6.0/system-requirements/ FF System Requirements]
IMPORTANT NOTE: Don't forget that the previous versions have security problems. For the latest security updates you MUST upgrade to latest version. That's what I STRONGLY recommend. Thanks!

How can I download an older version of Firefox before 3.6
I am trying to do transcription from a website. I did one file before my typing stopped showing up in the "box." I emailed the company and they suggested downloading an older version than 3.6. ('Doesn't make sense to me, but I guess I had better try what they advise before complaining any more to them.) I can't find instructions to download '''pre'''-3.6 version.

How can I download a previous version of firefox? for mac
I am a gov employee and only the older versions of firefox are compatible with our fedtraveler website. They list we must use firefox 3.0, 3.5, 3.6, 4.o, 5.0, 6.0, or 7.0 (for Mac osx Lion) only. The latest version 9.0 either does not work or is blocked for security reasons. I cannot find any of the older versions to download. Need help
Hey Marco99,
Sorry to hear about this limitation. There are a lot of benefits to running the latest version of Firefox.
If you want to roll back to a previous version of Firefox, just take a look at the Knowledge Base article [[Installing a previous version of Firefox]].
Hopefully this helps! -
Site requires Firefox 2.0 or 3.0
There were three major versions of Firefox 3 as in 3.0.*, 3.5.* and the still currently updated 3.6.*
If it is just for this one thing and to make it portable even if you have a flash drive, perhaps the Portable Firefox would be of interest.
Firefox 3.6.22 is at

I want to install Firefox 8.0 on my computer. I'm located in Sweden and I only get the Swedish version offered when I follow the download link. I've tried to search for other language versions, but I can't find any links to alternative downloads.
'''''Swarnava's''''' link will most likely get you the localized language version based on your physical location.
Download from the following to choose your OS and interface language:

**When uninstalling Firefox, be sure during the uninstall procedure that the box to "remove your personal information" (bookmarks, passwords, etc.) is NOT checked.

Firefox 4 doesn't shut down properly. If I close it and reopen it later it tells me firefox is already running and I end up restarting my computer.
This is the shitsYou may still have a Croatian language pack installed if you didn't uninstall a previously installed Croatian version and checked the Firefox program folder for remnant leftover files.
* "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\chrome"
If you download the full en-US version and install that version then the language shouldn't change.

Last weekend I was able to download an earlier version of Snapchat from iTunes without any problems.
I now won't let me download Snapchat at all, saying it needs IOS 7.
Why is it doing this and how can I download an earlier version of Snapchat onto my iPod again?
I don't understand why this week it has started saying I need IOS 7, without giving me the option to download an earlier version.
Many ThanksTry:
Starting when iOS 7 was released, Apple now allows downloading the last compatible version of some apps (iOS 4.2.1 and later only)
App Store: Downloading Older Versions of Apps on iOS - Apple Club
App Store: Install the latest compatible version of an app
You first have to download the non-compatible version on your computer. Then when you try to purchase the version on your iPod you will be offered a compatible version if one exists.
However, sometimes a previous version is not available. -
