How can I download an old version of Flash?

The newest version of Flash broke my billing system back
office. The developers of this billing system are based overseas
and are extremely unreliable so I cannot depend on them to fix this
in a timely manner. It could be 2 days or 2 months. I just don't
know.
In other words, the newest version of flash broke the program
I need to do my job. I need to rollback to a previous version as
soon as possible.
I found a file on this forum called "fp9_archive.zip" which
contains old versions of flash. However, everytime I try to install
any version besides 9r124. I get this error:
"MessageBox: 12582960,"The version of Adobe® Flash®
Player ActiveX that you are trying to install is not the most
current version.
Please visit

to obtain the latest, most secure version."
Please help me! I am not a developer or an IT guy. I am just
an accountant who foolishly clicked "update flash" when I was
spammed to update it. Now I am banging my head against the wall
because there are no clear and concise directions on how to roll it
back.

and I ran accross information that may help you.
How to get previous versions of Flash Player (Note: Adobe
supports and recommends the latest Flash Player.)
If you are a Flash developer and require a previous version
of Flash Player for testing detection schemes, refer to "Archived
Flash Players available for testing purposes" (

Adobe has made these archived players available for download
at the request of the Flash developer community. Adobe Technical
Support does not provide support for the installation or use of
these old players. These are not intended for general use.
The following may help you solve your problem.
Error while installing older version: The version of Adobe Flash
Player ActiveX that you are trying to install is not the most

If you previously installed a later version of Flash Player
for Internet Explorer, you may be prevented from installing an
earlier version. For example, if you installed Flash Player
9,0,115,0, and attempted to install version 9,0,47,0 the
installation would fail. In this case follow the instructions in

looks like it is directly related to your problem.
Uninstall all previous versions.
Before you install Flash Player for any Windows browser,
uninstall all previous versions. For instructions on removing the

and ActiveX control" (

Note: All applications must be closed before you run the
Flash Player uninstaller. Quit all running applications, including
all Internet Explorer or other browser windows, and all Instant
Messenger clients. Check the Windows system tray carefully to make
certain no applications which might possibly use Flash Player are
still in memory.

I have spent too many hours trying to get FF4 to work but .pdf files still won't open, Flash files won't play, option to save all tabs on close cannot be found: hanging and restarting in safe mode has become a common part of my work day and I can't afford the time.

It would be best to remove some files in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder] to prevent problems with downgrading now or upgrading in the future.
Remove at least all the extensions.* files (extensions.rdf, extensions.cache, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite) and the files pref.js and localstore.rdf and compatibility.ini.<br />
You may have to show hidden files and folders to see the .ini and .js file extension.<br />
This will reset all preferences (options) and the toolbar customization, so you will have to redo those settings.
If you do not need to preserve the history then you can delete places.sqlite as well to rebuild the bookmarks.<br />

You can use Firefox > History > Restore Previous Session to get back the previous session.

Turns out flash CC is not supported in google clickTag. I need to install the previous version of flash being CS6. Flash CC will not allow you to publish to previous versions as 10.3 is the lowest it goes. Will this feature be added to flash CC. Most sites don't support anything over flash player 9. It doesn't make much sense. Why was this not implemented in the new CC 2014?
For now I will try and download the CS6 version however even that's proving to be difficult. It's not an option in my previous version list. Please help

After nearly 3 weeks my original request received 0 replies; I'm not too impressed with this forum. I uninstalled and reinstalled my OS X 10.6.8 operating system on my MacBook Pro with Intel Core 2 Duo after following troubleshooting instructions to uninstall which left me w/o any version. I was then able to reinstall version 10.1.102.64 of Flash Player. However, I am still not able to install the current version, 11.1.102.55, either using Safari or Firefox. What is the issue? I hope this inquiry is viewed and answered since my previous posting was not.

Still I am clearly quite frustrated at not being able to view certain videos, etc. which use the latest version of Flash Player.

When reinstalling Firefox from a download, Firefox must be down once the installation starts. When the installation finishes, don't let the install start firefox for you.
