How can I download firefox version 2 or 1.5?

I'm pre-med and I need to take MCAT practice tests through princetonreview.com, but none of my browsers are supported in iTest...
"This browser is not supported. Links to Start, Resume or Start Over any exams in iTest are disabled for this browser. We encourage you to use Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher or Mozilla Firefox 1.5 or 2."
I have IE version 9 but apparently it also isn't compatible (gives me the same message). If anyone has a link to download firefox version 1.5 or 2 or any other advice it would be greatly appreciated!

For details of installing Firefox 2 see [[Installing a previous version of Firefox]].
I strongly advise against doing this as you are likely to have problems due to Firefox 3.6 versions using different files to store user data than Firefox 2, so you will lose any recent data such as bookmarks. Firefox 2 is also no longer supported and will have known security issues.
A better alternative is to install the portable version of Firefox 2 on your hard drive. This is available from http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable
Near the bottom of that page is a link for Firefox Portable 2.0.0.20, download that and when you run the installer choose a location on your hard drive. This installation will be totally separate from your Firefox 3.6.13 installation, and can be used when you need to use the Carworx program.

  • How can I download Firefox for my Android but decline Google's policy block?

Google demands that I accept all the policies they list before I can download Mozilla Firefox. The reason I want Firefox is because Firefox respects my privacy. Google does not respect my privacy and wants to sell my stats. THAT is the reason I want Firefox! How can I download Firefox & decline Google's unacceptable demands?

By default you cannot. Android's permission model is based on you trusting the app you are installing to use the permissions it asks for with care.
If you are willing to root your phone and install a custom version of the Android operating system CyanogenMod allows you to granularly approve and revoke permissions from the app you are running.
This is a somewhat dangerous process and if the wrong things happen you could wreck your phone.

  • As soon as I downloaded Firefox 4, my Roboform no longer worked. Roboform says it's not compatible so I need to buy an update from them. How can I download Firefox 3 again?

As soon as I downloaded Firefox 4, my Roboform no longer worked. Roboform says it's not compatible so they want me to buy an update from them...don't want to do that. How can I download Firefox 3 again?

What you are seeing sounds like the "advertised update" from Firefox 3.6 versions to Firefox 8.0.1 that started on 2011-12-01. See --> https://wiki.mozilla.org/Releases/Firefox_3.6_MU
This is the same as has occurred when prior versions were nearing their end-of-life. Support for Firefox 3.6 versions is likely to end in the first quarter of 2012.
There are changes in the interface from Firefox 3.6 to Firefox 4 and newer versions. See --> https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/common-questions-after-updating-firefox
The new Firefox version can be made to closely resemble the 3.6 Firefox interface.

The only currently supported versions are 3.6.24 and 8.0.1. Firefox 9.0 will be released on or about 2011-12-20 and will completely replace Firefox 8.0.1; an update to Firefox 3.6.25 from Firefox 3.6.24 will likely occur around that same time to correct any new security/stability issues found in Firefox 3.6.24.

  • I had a previous version of photoshop installed on my machine. I lost my HDD. How can I download the version of photoshop that i bought ~4 yrs ago?

I had a previous version of photoshop installed on my machine. I lost my HDD. How can I download the version of photoshop that i bought ~4 yrs ago?

According to Wikipedia, 4 years ago you would most likely have bought Photoshop CS5.
You can download Photoshop CS5 from Adobe.  Start here:
    Download CS5 products
You'll need your serial number to activate it.  If you don't have that, you can likely find it on Adobe's main web site after you've logged-in with your Adobe ID.  See the Find your serial number quickly link to pursue that.

  • How can I download a version of Pages for my computer with Snow Leopard

How can I download a version of Pages for my old MacBook that can only run Snow Leopard?

    Hi nteo,
See this Mac knowledge base article.
Snow Leopard must be at least version 10.6.6 to access the Mac app store. Use Apple menu > About this Mac to determine the version you have installed. Use Software Update to update the OS, if necessary.

  • Firefox 5 does not allow me to use McAfee site advisor. How can I download previous version?

McAfee site advisor is important to me and the new Firefox 5 does not allow it's use. Can you please let me know if I can use previous version of Firefox and how can I get download.
Perhaps you could e-mail me when problem has been resolved and I can then return to using Firefox which is my preferred browser. In the interim I shall use Internet Explorer which permits site advisor Thank-you

The McAfee extension was blacklisted due to be a #2 top crasher and McAfee has been working on fixing their toolbar for a month now and it may be ready in 2-4 weeks.

  • How can I download Firefox 4? (my add-ons won't work with later versions!)

The newer versions of Firefox aren't supported by the U-Promise turbo-bar. I shop with U-Promise a lot, so i really need this!
I also want to be certain that it will work with Webroot Internet Security Suite.
I am using Windows 7 on this laptop.
    Thank you.

If you just need an older version for a shopping site then consider using [http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable/localization#legacy36 firefox portable 3.6]
I am guessing major security suites will maintain compatibility with current Firefox versions, but any ancillary toolbars etc may not work. I know Kasperski and Norton have just updated to be compatible with Firefox 6.
It appears Webroot's SpySweeper does work, or has been implicated in Firefox problems see [[Warning Unresponsive script]] and a quick [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/search?q=webroot search] of the forum lists many posts & seems to suggests Webroot is not working with Firefox.
