How can I download flash player 10.3 to my mac 10.4.11?
I accidentally uninstalled my flash player and now get a message that Flash is not compatible to power pc's. How can I install an older version of flash, 10.3?
You can't use 10.3 on a PPC Mac.
The latest version of Adobe FlashPlayer can be obtained from here:
http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFl ash
You can check here what version of Flash player you actually have installed: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/155/tn_15507.html
You can check here: http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about/ to see which version you should install for your Mac and OS. Note that version 10,1,102,64 is the last version available to PPC Mac users*. The latest version, 10.2.152.25, 10.3.x beta, or later, is for Intel Macs only, as Adobe no longer support the PPC platform. Version 11.0.1.152 is for Lion.
* Unhelpfully, if you want the last version for PPC Macs, you need to go here: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/142/tn_14266.html and scroll down to 'Archived Versions/Older Archives'. The first one on the list, Flash Player 10.1.102.64 is the one you download. More information here: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/838/cpsid_83808.html
You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):
http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/909/cpsid_90906.html
and also that you follow the instructions closely, such as closing ALL applications first before installing. You must also carry out a permission repair after installing anything from Adobe.

You can't.
Android (Google) dropped all support for Flash last summer. The reason is the same one Apple gave seven years ago when they released iOS: Playing Flash content is very processor consumptive and it kills batteries... as well as shortening the battery life in mobile devices.
Android recommends using either "Dolphin" or Puffin" as your browser (BOTH are free in the GooglePlay store). They use "server side rendering" of Flash content to reduce the load on your Android device. -

How can I install Flash Player 11.7 on my Mac?
I've been trying to install Adobe Flash Player 11.7. on my Mac for months. Finally, today I decided to "take the bull by the horns" and have spent several hours trying to get to the bottom of the problem -- to no avail. I've followed every support directive on Google, on Mac Support, and on Adobe Support and Forums (so difficult to use, by the way). Now my computer has NO Flash Player; I've uninstalled it as directed in one step of the process.
I'm running a MacBook Pro, OS X, 10.6.8
My browser is Mozilla Firefox
Please help

How can I download flash player on macbook air?
I'm trying to download Adobe Flash player on my macbook air but when its installing it comes up with an error and tells me i need to close safari but safari isn't open. I've tried switching it off and on and I've attempted to download it many times and the same happens every time.
1. Install Adobe Flash Player.
http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
Download it first.
The next step is important.
Click Safari in the menubar and select “Quit Safari”.
Follow the prompts and install it.
Restart computer. Relaunch Safari.
2. Allow Plug-ins
Safari > Preferences > Security
Internet Plug-ins > "Allow plug-ins"
Enable it.
Best. -
How can I download Flash Player
really struggling to find the free trial I have searched all over and cant find it would it be possible to give me the link to the download page I need it to lok at some pages on the above website
Preston,
What free trial version software are you trying to install? Flash Player is not 'trial' software.
To install Flash Player go to get.adobe.com/flashplayer. The page will automatically detect the browser and offer you the Flash Player version based on your browser (e.g. ActiveX for Internet Explorer and Plug-in for non-IE browsers).

How can I download Flash Player's setting manager ?
This:
http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager04.htm lI didn't realise that the more I think I know the less I actually do !! Speaking to a friend last night he inspired me to understand the difference between Absolute and Relative addressing i.e. %appdata% which I see elsewhere on the web is known as Symbolic addressing.
I was amazed that Windows Explorer understood %appdata%
I'll take your advice and experiment. I'm now convinced that the domain related files stored in the Flash Cache must have the domain embedded in each file or specific folder for that domain. It's the only way the settings manager would know that it could delete the data for that given domain.
My first journey into the folders last night did not inspire, a very large number of files and folders with very strange naming.
A very long time ago (Commodore 64 ...) I used to have a tool that could read the contents of files looking for text strings (it worked at byte level) perhaps I could find something like that and identify which files belonged to the specific domain ? -
Hi,
Please help
How can I install flash player plugin (version 8) in browser
without
downloading setup or redirecting to macromedia site if flash
plugin is not
available in browser
ThanksVia Javascripting. Look for Flash detection kits at the
Adobe/Maromedia web
site and also at Internet search engines.
As well this forum focuses on database access issues and you
might find more
takers for this type of question in the Flash General forum.
