How can I download free apps from appstore?
I have an apple ID, but it doesn't work with app store. Whenever I tried to go app store it ask for my apple ID and password and when I put my ID and password it says "your ID not yet used in store please riview"....I don't know what to do? Can anyone help?

then credit card details will need to be entered before the account can be used to download any item from the store.

If not then you will need to enter your credit card details. If you don't have a credit card or don't want to enter its details (you shoud be able to remove it after entering it) then you will need to create a new account, and follow the instructions on that HT2534 page when creating it. If you want to use the same email address then you will need to replace it on that account first e.g. by tapping on it in Settings > iTunes & App Store on your phone, via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes or via http://appleid.apple.com

If None is not available - On your computer launch iTunes and click "iTunes Store" in the left navigation pane. Click the "down arrow" next to your name at the top right side of the page and click "Account." Enter your username and password and click "View Account" to log into your account information. Next to your Payment Type, click "Edit." Select the "None" button and click "Done." Confirm that your card has been removed by returning to the Apple account information screen. Under Payment Type, it should say that there is no credit card on file.

If you only want the free apps, take a look here:

Read the steps carefully as the order in which you follow them is critical. Note that you can do this only when creating a new Apple ID. You cannot use an existing ID.
You will of course not be able to get anything other than the free apps without entering in some sort of payment method (credit card, prepaid iTunes card, gift certificate, etc.)

how can i download an app from iTunes store, that exists just in a "swiss store". Because my account isn't allowed to download apps from other stores than a slovene. ???
You have to be in a country, and have a billing address in that country, to download from its store. You can try requesting that the app be added to the Slovenia store, but unless the app's developer/rights-holder agrees to it then Apple won't be able to sell it there : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html

Have you already established an Apple ID, or are you balking because of the credit card issue? It is my understanding that you can get the Apple ID by specifying NONE when they ask for the credit card information. You should then be able to download free stuff.
Later, if you try to buy something, you will then need to provide a method of payment. One alternative may be to add a gift card to your account. I've seen them for sale at Walmart. That way you can buy things without any worry about someone stealing your credit card information.
See <redeemLandingPage> for gift card terms and conditions. It will open up in your iTunes program.

I've tried to download free Apps from the iTunes store several times. It tells me to login, so I do. Then it says "This Apple ID has not yet been used with the iTunes Store. Please review your account information." When I click Review, then I click continue, I Agree to the terms and conditions, then it wants me to enter my credit card number! BUT ITS FREE!!!!!

You can create an iTune and App Store account without credit card details
1. Sign out of current Apple ID if you are sign-in to one (important)
2. Go to App Store and select a free app
3. Tap INSTALL APP
4. Create New Apple ID
5. Confirm Your Country
6. Agree with Terms and Conditions
7. Fill in your Apple ID and Password (you must create a new Apple ID; don't use your old Apple ID)
8. Create and answer your secret question
9. Select NONE for Payment Method
10. Fill in Billing Address
11. Submit application for new Apple ID
12. Wait for verification email
13. When email arrive, verify your account
14. Start downloading your free apps -

If you go into the App Store through your iPad and look to the bottom of your screen, you'll see the words "Featured", "Genius", "Top Charts" and so on. Tap the "Top Charts", and it'll take you into the top Apps but they'll be split by "Top Paid" on the leftside of the screen and "Top Free" on the rightside of the screen. Click on the "Free" button of any App that you'd like to download. You can remove any App that you don't like, so don't be affraid to play around with new Apps.

I just received a new iphone and want to try out some of the free apps on the app-store. i'm used to being able to download free apps w/o itunes within the Droid enviroment. This seems complicated with having to install itunes, and having to enter credit card/pay-pal information just to be able to use some 'free' apps. You'll have to have a creidy card/ debit card on file still. The card will not be charged unless you're make a puchace. Free apps don't count as a purchase. They will show up as a 0.00 charge. Apple will not charge your card unless it's a purchace that actually costs money
