but to answer your question, you can't. Since you are currently running version 4.3.3, it doesn't have the over-the-air software update feature. That feature came out with version 5.0.1. You will need to use a computer (or use a friend's computer or take it into the Apple Store) to update the iPad. Once you have updated it to iOS 5, then you will be able to get future updates without a computer.

See your other post, you need access to a computer. It can be a friend's computer. Disable sync when connected if using a friend's computer.

You can get Leopard 10.5 by calling the Apple Online store.
Tell them you purchased a new iPhone and need 10.5 because you have a PPC Mac and cannnot run 10.6.. -

What you can re-download will show under the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes. As long as they are still in the store then your apps and ibooks should appear there, and potentially music, films and tv shows (media can't be re-downloaded in all countries) - audiobooks and ringtones are currently one-time only downloads, so they won't appear.
If they don't show then have you still got copies of the items somewhere e.g. on your old computer (copying between computers) or on a backup of your downloads ? -

Did you download and purchase the original installation files from Adobe? Did your old computer have a Windows operating system? Does your new computer have a Windows operating system?

You need to connect your iPad to your computer and update the software in iTunes. Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes and your iPad should be recognized when connected and it should let you know there is a newer version of iOS available for download. Mandel is referring to what is called a "User Agent Faker' which tricks the website into thinking it is a different browser or version than it actually is. I sometimes would use this on my iPhone when I wanted to visit the full website of a site I was attempting to go to & it would only take me to the mobile version or state it was only compatible with say Internet Explorer, simply turn it on & select the browser and details you want it to report and it will spoof that browser & you'll be on your way.
