App store says it cost 150 SEK (swedish currency), didn't they say it was going to be free?

You download the trial version then open atleast one of the apps pick the 30 day trial then go to the mac app store after 2 minutes there will be an update for the iwork applications then after you update them delete the old ones from the trial and you have the new updated ones. It is totally safe I did it and it worked you can also follow this tutorial

Mavericks and iWork- how can I download iWork for free?

I recently just purchased the MacBook Air. I have downloaded Mavericks TWICE and still the iWork does not show up as a free Apple app in the "Purchases" tab. Set your System language to English and try the App Store again, it should show up as free then.
Change the language back after you install.

You can only update software from the Mac App Store if the that is where it was purchsed and downloaded from.
Since you installed from the DVD, your updates should be available from your Apple menu > Software Update.

How can I download Garageband (for free) after my hard drive crashed?

About a month ago my hard drive needed to be replaced, but I hadn't backed anything up onto an external hard drive. Yeah. Needless to say, it's been rough as I'm putting everything back together. I went to the Geek Squad at Best Buy to have the new hard drive installed. Most of my programs came back when they installed the OS, but iPhoto, iMovie, and GarageBand were three that didn't make it. iPhoto and iMovie are back, but GarageBand is not. How can I get it back on my computer for free? When I bought my computer new, it came with GarageBand, so shouldn't I get it back for free? Please help!!! If you associated it with an Apple ID, log into the Mac App Store with that Apple ID, click on the Purchases tab, and download it from there.

I can't remember if I saw the free iwork for my ipad air but I missed it. I really want to have them all. I bought it just for maore than a month.

The iWork apps for a Mac and for iOS devices are different, they are different operating systems.
If your iPad was activated after 1st September 2013 (and you are using the same account that was used to activate the iPad) then you should be able to download the apps for free in its App Store app. If it was activate before that date (or you are not using the same account) then you will need to pay to download the apps.

Got a new ipad air but Can't download IWORK for free.

Just got from a family member a new Ipad Air that was bought after September 1.
I wanted to download iwork apps that were supposed to be free, but they weren’t.
I discovered that my family member registered the ipad under his account, and only the on next day he gave me the new device. After I found that out, we deleted the registration of new ipad from his apple ID, and registered the new device under my account (including the serial number of the new device).
However, the iwork apps are still not free. What can I do to get them for free as promissed?

Go to the App Store on your iPad which should open to Featured. If not, tap on Featured at the lower left of the screen & scroll down to Collections & tap on New to the App Store? then scroll down to Apps Made by Apple & tap. You should now see the iWork & iLife apps as "FREE."

If I've removed the app from the purchased how can I download again for free?

i mean that i removed for my computer and than on the Mac App Store in the purchased i saw a X and i pressed (but it was a mistake) and now i can't download it again for free, there is something that i can do???

Go to the App Store Menu, choose Store > View My Account. You should see iTunes in the Cloud. Click View Hidden Purchases. Click Unhide on the App. Hope this is what you meant.

How can I download Mnt Lion from the App Store on a new Mac running Mavericks?

Greetings... We just purchased a new iMAC at work and need to remove Mavericks and move it backwards to Mnt Lion.
Some of our big apps like Esko Automation Engine Pilot arn't ready for Mavericks yet so we need to go back a version
to obtain the compatibility.
When I access the Mnt Lion download via the App Store I get an error message (1004) stating that Mnt Lion can not
be installed on this machine?

This must be done on a computer using iTunes. Go to the iTunes Store on your computer and click on Account under the Quick Links heading on the right. Enter your password and go down to Purchased History and Click on See All on the right hand side.
Your purchased history will show up in the next window.

stevejobsfan is correct; iwork for ios is free only for new purchases of new ios devices. A good work around (if you have wifi connectivity) is going to the icloud website on your ipad, and working on your document.
A word of caution (the real reason I am responding to your post). If you do a lot of 'formatting' of a document on iwork for mac, and then save it in icloud; you will probably loose most of the formatting you have done (this will be true if you oppen the document in iwork for ios; also) It happened to me, and I did not duplicate the document before saving it to icloud; I lost at least an hours worth of work.
