How can I download Mozilla Firefox that supports Lightening 1.0beta7

I have Firefox 3.0.8 installed. I have downloaded the above lightening file but it is not compatible with Firefox 3.0.8.
How can I download a newer Firefox edition that will work with Lightening 1.0 beta 7.

I installed Moz. FF 7.0.1. On downloading Moz Thunderbird lightening - when I attempted to install it the message came up that Lightening was not compatible with Moz. FF 7.0.1.
Any other suggestions - I am very frustrated.

We are trying to access FAFSA (Federal Student Aid site) and FAFSA has detected a "connectivity with the Browser" problem. It recommends linking to a browser update. When I go there, the available free upgrade is Mozilla Firefox 3.5.13. I downloaded this (I am dialup connection, so it takes a while and perhaps THAT is the connectivity problem, don't know). A week later, Firefox wanted to upgrade and it upgraded my 2.0 Firefox (installed Feb '08). So, now, I don't know whether to download, again, the 3.5.13, in order to connect with FAFSA.

The mozilla-derived Firefox-based browser known as Tenfourfox does a fair job and is about due for code upgrade near the end of this year from version 17 to version 24. Tenfourfox can run in Tiger 10.4.11 + Leopard 10.5.8.

I have & use both Tenfourfox + SeamonkeyPPC versions in my PPC G4 Macs. (My third choice is iCab...)
These both play well together and can be run simultaneosly without odd effects, unlike what can happen if you were to run the original Firefox and then launch Tenfourfox; as those share resources. I use SeaMonkey PPC for my web mail login via google Notifier, and have that set as the default browser through use of Safari's preference settings. Even though my first browser choice is Tenfourfox.
You can choose to 'enable plugins' of stuff that by default is turned off in tenfourfox, for security reasons, such as an older no-longer supported version of adobe's Flash. However, video such as youtube content will often automatically work OK from most sites via Tenfourfox now.
{There's also a seamonkey 'modern version' for intel-based macs w/ later OS X, not at the seamonkeyPPC site...}

How can I re-download a song that's already been purchased, but for some reason, is not on my computer? Is there any way to do this? According to the iTunes Store, the song has been purchased, yet it can't be found under "Purchased" and the song is nowhere in my library. What's going on here?

You are looking in the wrong "Purchased" section (a bit confusing, I know). You need to click on the iTunes Store. Once there, on the right side you will see a Quick Links section - under that you will see Purchased. Click on that Purchased. A window will display with Music, Movies, TV Shows, etc. Click on Music, then on Songs. Also, at the top of the window, you will see All and Not on this Computer/Mac, click on All.
You should then see a list of all purchased songs, and any that are not downloaded currently will have a little cloud next to them. You can click individually on a particular cloud to download that song, or you can click on Download All at the bottom to download all that are not currently on your computer.
