To my knowledge you can't; there are occasionally issues that arise that require plugging the devices into a computer to have iTunes resolve the problem.
Can you use a friend's computer (I recommend creating a new user account to do this just to prevent possible issues with their existing iTunes account, doesn't seem to be as much of a problem recenlty as it once was, but it's always better to avoid the possibility).
You might also find an Apple Store with someone there who is willing to help, or library/school with computers you can access for free in order to fix whatever is going on with the iPad. -
A few years ago I bought music from Itunes. Recently I deactivated all computers in order to add a new computer. Most of the music I purchased came through, but I am still missing about 30% of it. How can I download all the music I have purchased from Itunes?

Mandel is referring to what is called a "User Agent Faker' which tricks the website into thinking it is a different browser or version than it actually is. I sometimes would use this on my iPhone when I wanted to visit the full website of a site I was attempting to go to & it would only take me to the mobile version or state it was only compatible with say Internet Explorer, simply turn it on & select the browser and details you want it to report and it will spoof that browser & you'll be on your way.

but to answer your question, you can't. Since you are currently running version 4.3.3, it doesn't have the over-the-air software update feature. That feature came out with version 5.0.1. You will need to use a computer (or use a friend's computer or take it into the Apple Store) to update the iPad. Once you have updated it to iOS 5, then you will be able to get future updates without a computer. -

If your camera has an SD memory card, use the camera connection kit & the SD card to download to the iPad. That's what I do.
Another way that will work. Download the video(s) to your computer. Then you can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
First, Plug the USB flash drive into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie file into the folder. The movie file must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie file should appear & you can import.
