There is a bit more info on this page. You will need to sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad - not including photos in a subsequent sync is how you delete them from the iPad.

Looking at this article, it doesn't look like that camera model is supported by iPhoto. You may want to get in touch with Sony and see if they have any software that will allow you to import/view it.

If you sync with the new computer it will erase the current content from the iphone and replace with the selected content of the new computer.
The pics that you have taken with the iphone should be imported regularly to your computer as you would with any digital camera. You can then organize them and sync them back to the iphone if you wish.
If you have had itunes perform a backup on the new computer, you should get the pics taken with the iphone back, but I would import them before trying anything. -

I am also unable to even see the link to audio replay on Capitol Pressroom archives. ThanksYoutube usually had an 8 minute length cap, which may be part of your issue. Also at 18 minutes that is probably a gig+ file size, which will also take a long time to upload and may be another part of the issue.
Edit it down as jim suggested. Or you may need to use something like dropbox, to get it off your ipad and onto a computer where might have more options to edit it down or size it down.
If it's just file size you can transcode it into a smaller file - a lower quality MP4 for example. If it's the length that's an issue for youtube, you'll need to break it up into a couple different files and upload part 1 and part 2
