How can I download tv shows in advance
I am just starting to use Apple TV, and I just purchased a season of "Madmen." I'd like them ALL to be downloaded for my viewing pleasure, but instead, I have to select a show, then wait 20/40 minutes for it to download. Is there a way to just auto-download anything you're purchased, so while you're sleeping, or away, the shows are downloading?

The apple tv does not download it streams, it only 'downloads' the film enough to play it without buffering. Your issue is likely you internet connection speed. You can press play and then pause the film or show and it will 'download' enough so if you did that half an hour before you want to watch teh show it should work, if you did it overnight the Apple TV would go to sleep and forget the download!

Joey Deere:finding tv shows in the Music store, I think that tv shows are only available in the US music store. I live in Canada - we get the big US networks as part of our regular cable- and can not purchase any TV content from the music store, even if I visit the US Music store. I always get the message that the tv shows are only available to users from the US.
Regarding other videos and equipment you might need, I unfortunately can not answer that question. -
I just received apple tv as a present this Christmas and the shows take too long to download when I want to watch them. Can I download multiple shows overnight or during day and watch them in the evening?? If so how?
The ATV stores no content.
Content can be downloaded to iTunes on a computer and then streamed to the ATV via HomeSharing. -
I am trying to connect my JVC Hard Disk Drive Camcorder to my IPAD 2 via the Apple camera kit. I am able to download photos, but video files not showing. Camera shows Mass Stoarge. How can I download videos please?
The file name only has 6 characters and I'm not sure what the .mod format is. So that's why they are not seen by the iPad.
Another way to transfer. You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)

I purchased Words with Friends on my iPad. I then purchased an iPhone, however, this app is not showing up under "purchased". How can I download to iPhone without paying for it again?
Which version did you buy on your iPad ? If you bought the HD version then that is only compatible with the iPad, so you will need to buy the iPhone/Pod version (or download the free version) if you want to use it on your iPhone.

I downloaded a TV show directly to my IPAD, how can I download that TV show to other devices on the same account without paying twice?Whether you can re-download them for free depends upon what country that you are in - tv shows can't be re-downloaded in all countries. If they show in the Purchased tab in the iTunes app on your other devices, or the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes then you can re-download them. Otherwise you can copy them from your iPad to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases and then sync them to your other devices.

When I connect the RCA Small Wonder to my MacBook Pro, the device is recognized in finder as EZ201. I tried to copy the video files in the folder but within a minute or two, I receive a message that the disk was ejected improperly, even though the device is still connected. I was able to download the first few videos before it stopped working and was able to play them using Perian. However, when I tried to connect the device again, it froze my system and I had to force a shut down by turning the computer off. Why is the device initially recongized but then shows as improperly ejected when it is still connected? How can I download the videos if the MacBook Pro won't allow the device to stay connected?

I understood your requirement as from ALV you want to download the data to an Excel sheet.
In standard ALVs, you need to do this
In other cases like Z programs etc, often Icon is provided (as you said) like this
You need to select Local File option here as shown below
In both case you will get this pop-up
Now when you continue you will get SAVE dialog-box, where you can give a name to your excel file and Save.

Is the computer yours, and are you the Administrator or a user with administrator rights? Are you allowed to install software on the computer?
Check your "purchased" list. Pages should show there, and if it's not installed it should read "install" next to it.
Have you tried another mac? You can install the purchased software on another Mac by using your AppleID that you purchased the software with on the first mac.

I have a windows pc. How can I download purchased items which have become corrupted on my PC. I can't use iCloud without an Apple device. I have gone into purchased but next to each title it merely says 'downloaded'. I need to download them again. It will cost a fortune to re-purchase the corrupted music!
I tried that but it just shows 'downloaded'. There is no little cloud next to that wording. On an Itunes help page it shows a 'library icon' once you have logged in but that does not appear on my version of ITunes which is 11.1. I have lost so many peices of music! My hard drive had to be recently reinstalled (5 days ago) with the software being 100% totally new, and totally up to date.
I therefore do not have iwork 09 which was purchased as a family pack (via download). How can I download it again without purchasing, and reactivate iwork09? It does not show up in my App store under purchases, as it was purchased a few years ago.It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion. Use your backup copy to put everything back.
