How can I drag/drop a TITLE w/URL of a bookmark, not just the URL.

In a previous version of either FF or Windows, I could drag/drop the TITLE w/URL of a FF bookmark.
In 3.6 I can only d/d the URL.
Can I change it so I d/d the TITLE w/URL as a hyperlink?

Good questions... I'll have to try and figure out when the problem first happened - I was thinking it was when I upgraded to Safari 5.1.4 but that might not be the case... I'll try your suggestions to see if any of them eliminate the problem (I have restarted recenlty and that didn't fix it) but I'll try repairing permissions,etc. Thanks!
hmmm... Mcbuffy: are you implying that you *don't* get the webloc when dragging an image out of Safari and that this isn't a caused by change to Safari but is a big/conflict in mine?

I've just found out the reason for this behaviour. I am syncing from a computer which is different to the one I first synced with. iTunes can't cope with this situation so deletes anything synced from another source.

The whole idea to an icloud account is that one user uses it and has all their devices synced together. Different users need different Apple IDs to create their own icloud accounts. Note that everyone can still use the same ID for an iTunes account (to share purchases).

All iWork apps allow you to save your documents on your computer. You will be able to choose the destination when you want to save a document.
You can also disable iCloud for some apps. To do that, go to System Preferences -> iCloud, press "Options" next to "iCloud Drive" and disable the apps you want to.
If you have lost your old documents, you should have a backup that you made before upgrading to OS X Yosemite, so you only have to restore it.

You can transport any requests to any systems even though they are not in the transport domain.
1) Move the corresponding data & cofiles( in /usr/sap/trans/data & /usr/sap/trans/cofiles directories) to the same location in the target system.
2)Add the request to the queue from STMS ->Import Queue ->Extras ->Other Requests - >Add.
3)The execute the transport as usual.

I have read various forums on this subject and have not found an answer on how to perform this basic function.
To be clear, I am NOT asking how to drag & drop MOVE an event, rather how to duplicate an event.
In this way, I would not have to create a new event on a different date that is very similar to an existing one.
If I have missed this in the manual just tell me where it is discussed and I will check it again.

If your device is signed into an old iCloud ID that is an earlier version of the ID you want to sign in with, do the following:
If you are using iMessage and FaceTime, make sure you are signed into these services with your current ID. If they are signed into the old ID, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with your current ID.
Then temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. (You should not have to verify the old email account so it doesn’t matter if you no longer have access to it.) Now go to Settings>iCloud, turn off Find My iDevice and enter your current password when prompted (even though it prompts you for the password for your old ID). Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll (unless you are using iCloud Photo Library). then click the "PDF" button in the botton left corner.
I recommend using the "Save as PDF..." item from the list so you can save the pdf with a meaningful name then attach that file to an email.

You are allowed to have the software installed and activated on two machines, so you do not need to remove it from the old pc just to install it on the new machine.
If you look in your Adobe account online you might be able to find the serial number.
You can also try contact Adobe support thru chat to see if they can help with the serial number. They might be able to if you can prove ownership of the software.

All Time Machine dates are white, no pink. How can I be sure data is backed up on Time Capsule, not just on iMac itself?

When I enter Time Machine on my iMac (OS 10.6.8) I get a window entitled "Connecting to Server" and says, "connecting to backup volume" with a horizontal blue and white barber's pole. This message goes on for about 60 seconds before Time Machine opens.
Apple support goes on to say, "Gray tick marks on the timeline represent snapshots stored on your internal drive (portable computers only). Pink tick marks represent backups stored on your backup disk." All the tick marks and dates are grey and become white when mouse is rolled over them. No dates are pink.
If I have not pink dates, are my backups stored on my Time Capsule? Or, are all backups local on the iMac itself? What do I need to do to ensure backup is on the Time Capsule?

Pardon the dramatics, but don't do that. Time Machine will, sooner or later, delete the backup copies of anything that's no longer on your Mac.
Plus, of course, if you delete the originals, you no longer really have backups (backup = an extra copy in case something happens to the original).
Your best bet might be to get a larger internal HD for your Mac. Second best would be to get another external HD, format it for a Mac, and move some stuff (perhaps your entire iPhoto library) to it, and let Time Machine back up both your internal HD and the new external.
