hello Adobe i'm a web developper student, and i want to build a website that can help to edit text layers of an animation made by After effects of Flash professional
so how can i get or export an editable file of a video project that i can edit by coding ? i'm a beginner in multimedia.

That's outdated tech. XFL has been scrapped and just the same there has been no notable work on AE's XML project export. You need to use scripts like pt_OpenSesame to export the projects to an intermediary editable text file or create your own set of tools, including possibly expressions as well.

Better yet, edit the original source document, create a new PDF, and replace the old pages with the new: Tools > Pages > Replace

How can I made a text box to accept initials or signature without signature field?

I create forms for my clients using Adobe Pro 9. Due to the potential lack of computer literacy of their customers, my clients would like to make a field that would accept an initial or a signature without the steps needed for a digital signature.
The steps would be 1) customer opens form with Acrobat Reader; 2) click on Fill & Sign Tools, then create the initials to use; 3) drag the initials to the textbox. At this point the size of the initials would correspond with the size of the text box.
I have experimented with having the text box property Appearance-Text-Font size: Auto. However when I opened the PDF in reader, I would have to resize the signature block.

If I understand your question, you don't want to use the Signature form field, because your client feels that might be too complicated for some users. Is that correct?
The Place Signature option on the Fill & Sign tab allows you to drag a signature onto the page, but not directly into a text form field. I don't believe there's a one-to-one relationship between the form field and the Place Signature option.

How can I edit a Text Module in Landscape

I would like to create a new Text Module in Smartforms and I would like to know if the graphic editor, similar to MS-Word, can be setup to display the page in Landscape?
My text is always edited in Portrait format and I would like to avoid calculating my characters to fit in a larger landscape presentation format.

I tried your procedure and found that I was using DINA4 as a default page format. In SPAD this format was defined for Portrait and Landscape. I created a new page format ZDINA4 with a larger width but the text module presentation remains the same. I only defined the landscape record and I have the same result by clicking Print Layout or Draft. Do you know if this page format has an influence on the Text Module presentation? I would like to put the ruler much wider that it is locked at 21. Any suggestion on how to enlarge the ruler?

Yes I know how to set up the page format in the Smartforms itself but I am talking about the text module. My key user will create the Text Module and I would like to have the same width as my landscape page in the form. If will make things easier for the user to make the data entry since it looks like MS-Word except for the Portrait/Landscape issue. Any idea?

How can i edit user text input on a JTextField

Example: Only allow users to type integer characters (0 - 9) into a JTextField.
I have been able to edit the JText field so that it removes (Document.remove(int,int))
a char that is not an iteger char using DocumentListeners and UndoableEditListeners to the Document.
But once I do this it will not allow me to enter anything else in the field without first
tabbing out of the field and then back in again. Am I missing something?
Using jdk1.3.1, Win 2000.

How can I edit text without alignment problems ?

One day after I wrote a paragraph of text and saved it I am unable to edit it.
When I place my "T" text cursor in the appropriate or designated line of text there seems to be
a misalignment and consequently the left and right arrows are unreponsive.
Also when I highlight the line of text I want to work with as soon as I place the text icon
over that line and click the software creates another layer instead of remaining in the layer
I've specified.

I'm unable to make the text in a given layer active.ie when I drag the "T" icon to the desires position and click the txt does not respond/is not active as it should be,instead of seeing all the text with underlines it remains in active. Not alterable. If I type a letter it doesn't align.
I also noticed that the layer in question in the layers palette is represented by a checkered icon rather than by a "T" on a white backround.../
the way text normally is.
HOW CAN I CHANGE THE CHECKERED LAYER BACK TO A TEXT LAYER AND THUS GAIN ACCESS AGAIN ?

How can I edit text labels in a numeric display?

I have this numeric display, type U16, that displays specific messages, for example 'PASS' when the input is 1. I need to add another message.
I added a placeholder, for input = 3 (verified by the digital display) for the new message by rightclicking/'Add After' but I'm not able to add the new message. I can't edit the text (can't select it) for the existing messages either so I know I'm on the wrong track.
The G programming reference for LV 5.1 (page 9-17) says to use the labeling tool so I tried the 'Edit Text' tool on the tools palette. Is there another labeling tool? Any help is appreciated.

It sounds to me as if your U16 ring control is, or is linked to, a typdef (Type Definition), which LabVIEW programmers can employ to impose sharp constraints on the way a control looks or behaves. This would explain why you can't edit the text items, or add one. The bit about adding an item for '3' is confusing, but maybe it has to do with the ring being set to allow undefined values.
I can't recall how to manage these things under LabVIEW 5.1, but in 7.x, I would right-click on the control and see if "Open Type Def" was one of my options; if so, this diagnosis is correct, and you can make your changes only be editing the actual type def. The changes would then automatically be applied to any other control or indicator that is linked to the same type def, which is a very powerful programming technique.
Your best move might be to read up on Type Definitions in your LabVIEW User Manual, or in Application Note 159, and then proceed.

No, tab-formatted text is not editable in the manner you desire. As for your question - tab is just a character like any other. You are simply taking a given kind of implementation for granted, nothing more, but that must not necessarily be the case for all programs. An evil programmer just could assign the tab key to forward delete or any other fancy function just as he could make your space key draw funky symbols from a different Unicode range, if you get my meaning... so simply take it the way it is. You will get this warning, if your book includes textboxes that still include the default text, like "Insert Title". You need to find these boxes and add your own text. Look for boxes like this:

You might be able to use the newest adobe reader program/application for that.
You would have to save your pdf out of photoshop cs3 without any text and then add the text to the pdf in adobe reader.
The text added in adobe reader can't be edited in photoshop, so the other people would have to adobe reader or acrobat to edit the text.

I frequently write in Spanish and English, i have to change the keyboard from one language to the other but when i forget i get unexpected results. I decided to disable the automatic spelling correction. But there is still a problem. I sometimes miss a single letter to correct in a word but ipad forces me to rewrite the whole word again, or to use the delete key to delete all the letters until i get to the one I need to correct. Yes. You can tap near the letter you want to edit to place the cursor near by.
For more accurate selection if you hold down where you want to edit a small magnifiying glass should appear. You can use that to move the insertion pointer to wherever you want to edit.

With Clear Scan you get the text replacing the graphics of text. That can be edited. If you do searchable PDF conversion, you can still edit (I think). However it is an edit of the hidden layer of text behind the graphic and does not show on screen normally.
Usually the best choice is to ask the author for the original file to edit. If that is a copyright issue, then you should not be editing anyway.
