How can I edit a VRO video file in Premiere Pro CC

I have a VRO video file stored on my windows based pc and would like to edit it with Premiere Pro CC.  How can I get Premiere Pro CC to recognise this file and allow me to edit it?

Change the extention to vob or mpg maybe that will do the trick,
or google for the AVS Video Tools VRO Converter.

how can i edit a scanned pdf file in adobe acrobae 9 pro ?

With Clear Scan you get the text replacing the graphics of text. That can be edited. If you do searchable PDF conversion, you can still edit (I think). However it is an edit of the hidden layer of text behind the graphic and does not show on screen normally.
Usually the best choice is to ask the author for the original file to edit. If that is a copyright issue, then you should not be editing anyway.

  • How do I import mp4 video files into Premiere Pro Cs4

For sometime now, I've been finding it practically impossible to import video files into premiere Pro cs4 especially mp4 files which happens to be the commonest to me now, as I currently shoot with a Nokia Lumia 920 phone with Windows phone 8 OS. I have tried severally to convert the videos into various other formats using Xilisoft video converter version 7.7.2 and each time I do this, they would either not play fine in cs4 or not import at all.
Please what can I do to be able to import these mp4 files into Cs4 or what format or how do I convert them into a format that would play seamlessly for better editing?
Funny enough, I had once imported video files that were shot with the same phone and they worked well, just wondering why they aren't now.
Please any assistance would be appreciated.
    Thanks
    NKC

I'm happy to announce to you all that my "mp4 importing" issues has been sorted out. Now I import mp4 shot with the same Windows Phone 8 Device into Adobe Premiere Pro CS4. Only that for the moment, it doesn't play as fast as with ordinary player.
    But how did I get it to work, you may wonder;
I simply installed Itunes on the system, I also installed an app called media monkey. I can't say which of the apps did the magic but the next time I tried to import mp4 files into Premiere Pro after these installations, it imported seamlessly.
Obviously there's a link between the required codecs and the itunes itself.
You may want to try it and hope it works for you.
Kindly inform us if it works.
    Thank you all.
    Cheers.

  • How can i stream(air mirroring) *.mkv files between Mac Pro and AppleTV2 by using quicktimeX?

How can i stream(air mirroring) *.mkv files between Mac Pro and AppleTV2 by using quicktimeX?
    Need support!

How can i stream(air mirroring) *.mkv files between Mac Pro and AppleTV2 by using quicktimeX?
As stated you can't. Even if the compressed data is TV compatible, the container is not. If the file is playback compatible with the QT X Player, you can, of course, play the file on your main system and "mirror" its display to the TV. Unfortunately, this normally means only the video is played back via the TV device. On the other hand, if you convert the MKV content to an TV compatible file (or move the compressed data to an TV compatible container if the data is already TV compatible), then you can mirror the QT X player (with audio) to the TV device in the full screen mode, air play/mirror it from iTunes (or any mobile device), or stream it directly from itunes.
Basically, what you can do here depends on the compressed data in the MKV file container and how you define "mirroring."

  • How do I edit Quicktime .mov video file in CS5 Extended ?

    Hi !
I'm a photographer using Photoshop CS 5 Extended and editing video using Apple Final Cut Pro 7 NLE editing studio.
I'd like to edit video footage in CS5 Extended. I have a Quicktime video .mov file that was shot with a Canon 5D2 and Canon 15mm fisheye lens and i would like to defish the footage to rectilinear using Photoshops Lens Correction Filter.
I have tried opening the movie file in CS5 Extended and it appears as a video layer in my layers window. I can defish the first frame (according to Animation palette), but the lens correction needs to be over the whole footage not just the first frame.
How do i do this and then output retouched / defished .mov file ?
I assume you can use a similar process to clone out dust spots in footage too ?
Any help and advice would be much appreciated ... thanks ...

Wow ! That was a speedy reponse ... thankyou !
I didn't realise i needed to convert into a smart object ... I tried that and it works !
    Woohoo !!
Only problem is ... the 10 second QT .Mov file has changed from 65Mb file size to 2.2Gb. It looks similar quality and the Quicktime settings were just default (High).
Any idea why file is sooooo big ?! Or how I can reduce it without losing too much quality ? Can't quite understand why the file size has ballooned and would be a problem editing it in Final Cut Pro 7.
    Thanks again ...

  • How can i get an MP4 video file to work in iMovie 08'?

I'm currently editing a wedding video i recorded on my Sony DV camcorder in iMovie 08' and want to splice a MP4 video file (from a mobile phone- make unknown) of the married couple on their first dance into the footage but can't
How do i go about acheiving this?

Autoplay is not universally supported by all devices.  Many smatphone data plans can't handle the burden of preloaded and auto playing media.  There's nothing you can do to change this b/c mobile devices simply ignore the parameter.   All that said, why are you still using player plugins?  You don't need them with HTML5 video.
Copy & paste this code into a new, blank document.  Change video files to your own.

  • How can I cut up a video file into smaller bits?

I shot around 3 hrs of 1920x1080 AVCHD in 2 clips (a wide shot of the stage of a musical production I performed in) It all fits in the internal memory of my camera.
Two friends shot medium and closeups in Standard AVI with a view of making a DVD (2 disks)
They will be editing it in Premier Pro standard def.(a 3 camera production!)
When I convert my AVCHD to AVI SD, each of my 2 reduced clips is still too big to fit on one dvd disk as a data disk.
How can I cut each clip in half to fit on a total of 4 disks so I can send them the video?
If I make two AVCHD projects out of each clip in PE9 and share as DV, the quality is badly degraded. Near vertical lines become very jagged and the picture is much softer than if it had been originally shot in SD.
If I make a PE9 DV project and import the AVCHD instead, I get the red line and the picture once rendered is no better.
I have seen references to a lossless codec. Would this do the job in PE9 and how do I implement it?
The 4Media converter does a much better job of converting to SD but how can I cut the new file in half?

I would point out that Standard Def here in Australia(576) is 12% better vertical resolution that in USA(480).
So European & Aussie SD doesnt look quite so bad compared with full HD
In fact if you stand more than 4 metres from a 40" screen, most people cant see the difference between good SD and full HD.because the eye cant resolve such fine detail at that dustance even with perfect vision.
This is providing the original material was shot with a good camera capable of HD and it was downscaled properly.
    Converters
    I. downloaded trials of the following converters and rank them in the following order
    1. 4Media version 6 AVCHD to AVI converter ($37)
    2. Prism
    3. AVS
    4. Wondershare
    5. PE9 making seperate SD projects
I found them obviously different with PE9 right at the bottom of the scale! I will never use it again to make a SD project.
Blurryness and jagged or twinkling diagonal lines were the most common faults.
4Media shone above all the others. When used on the highest bit rate was only slightly softer than the ACVHD material with no jagged diagonal lines but it produced an AVI file the same size as the AVCHD.
When I set the bit rate so the AVI file produced was half the original AVCHD, the quality was equal to original SD video Shot on my old Sony Camera that cost me $2000 5 years ago.
I can split the files with this program too!
    Judging picture quality
All pictures will have errors and be less than ideal. It's just a matter of how many are acceptable.
The ONLY way to evaluate how good a picture is to view it on the best  possible setup. You can't judge vertical resolution on an old CRT TV  which is a different number of lines anyway (525 or 625) so evaluation  is impossible. Digital TV thru a set top box to a CRT TV is far worse  than the original analog.
Because everyone knows SD is worse then HD but it should only be half as bad (576 is about half of 1080)
Because I wear glasses that perfectly correct my focus and slight astigmatism, I have a good rough method of calibrating my eyes so I can relatively judge quality of different pictures on different systems.
I vary the difference between myself and the screen so the left and right edges are in line with my fingers inside the frames of my glasses!
This is equivalent to  sitting two thirds from the screen in the average picture theatre where  you can comfortably sit without being disturbed by deficiencies of  most film and HD projection.
Applying this to my computer screen I can now judge pretty well. If a picture looks really good under these circumstamces it IS good and I can easily see any meaningfull errors.
Using my calibration "method", I found that full HD on my 40" LCD is noticeably sharper than the best cinema in our city (we have 39 of them, some with 8 theaters ) and after enquiries found they are all 1440x768 and not true HD at all.If you get there earlier than when they boot up their projector you can often see this in their boot up screen.
Worse still they slightly defocus them so you can see the pixel structure close up!
The now rare 35mm Film projection ranks even lower by the time copies are distributed.
You can't buy analog TVs or CRT screens anymore here anyway and Analog TV finishes here completely next year.

  • How can I edit an RH9 .hhc file (XML format) to include a portion of a RH8 TOC (HTML format)?

I blend output from a third-part application (Sandcastle) into an existing RH8 project.  I do this by decompiling and importing the HTML, then editing the RH8 .hhc file to include the .hhc information from Sandcastle.
This worked fine until RH9 (and now RH10), where the format of the .hhc changed to XML.  Can someone tell me how to approach this now?  Currently, I worked around this by creating a RH8 project with the imported HTML/hhc from Sandcastle, then upgraded that project to RH9.

I decompile the CHM file produced by Sandcastle because Sandcastle output does not provide an index file (.hhc) that I can use to edit the main TOC in my RoboHelp project.
The Sandcastle HTML output files that I import into Robohelp have very intricate nesting and hyperlinking, so autogenerating a TOC in RoboHelp does not produce the desired results. Decompiling is the only way I see to obtain an index file that Robohelp will recognize and add/edit to the existing TOC.
This may be ignorance on my part, but I can't look at an HTML-based .hhc (RH8) and know how to edit it to be XML-based (RH9).
    See below for examples.

  • How can I send a large video file from my iPhone 4?

How can I send (by text) a (fairly) large video file from my iPhone 4 without it getting compressed first?
If that's not possible is there a way to uncompress the video file one it is received onto the receiving iPhone?
Or is there a way to sync or transfer a video file from iPhone to iPhone?

ExFAT would be the best file system format, as it will handle files greater than 4GB.
If exFAT is not available, go for FAT32.
Just FAT is too limiting, so avoid that

  • How can I relocate my iMovie08 video files to another folder or drive?

How can I find and/or change the path iMovie uses to store and access my video and project files?
I know that this was possible in iMovie HD but I have looked through iMovie 08 and can not find any indication of where iMovie 08 is looking or storing the video/project files.
Anyone know where I should look... or how I can change the path the program uses to store these files.

You can change the path where Events are stored on the import screen. External Drives must be formatted as HFS+ or HFS+ Journalled to be available.
For Events you want to move, click "VIEW/SHOW EVENTS BY VOLUME".
Now you can drag and drop Events in the Events Source List to another drive by dragging and dropping. iMovie will automatically create any folders it needs.
It is best to leave Projects where they are.

how does one transfer a large ( 1gb) video file from an iphone3g photo cache to a pc in a playable format?

The same way you would import any photo/video from a digital camera. Connect the iPhone to the computer and import the file. Then it can be played with Quicktime or any software that supports that file format.

I would suggest that you get MPEG Streamclip from Squared 5, which is a free download.
Also, install the Perian components from Perian.org. (Also free).
Drag your android clip into MPEG Streamclip. The FILE/EXPORT USING QUICKTIME. Choose the Apple Intermediate Codec as the codec.
You can import the resulting file into iMovie using FILE/IMPORT MOVIE...
