I am trying to find out how I can deauthorise several computers without doing all 5 that are listed in my account?

You can only do that on the Computers themselves.
If you no longer have, or access to, the computer(s) you want to deauthorise,
You will need to Deauthorise all five,
Then re-authorize your current Computer(s) one at a time..

You probably don't want to run your external through a hub either. As long as your external drive is assigned the same drive letter iTunes should find the files on it but I noticed your other thread where someone suggested that you should use the same port as earlier. What happens if close iTunes, switch ports, confirm you have the same drive letter then restart iTunes? What other devices do you have that assign drive letters? Windows may assign these in a particular order as your system boots up but you should also be able to take control and assign a specific letter to a specific device.

go to 'Edit' in the menu bar. Then choose 'Preferences'.
you'll see a pop-up and there's a tab called 'Devices' there. If you click that, you will be able to check a box that says 'prevent automatic syncing for iPods, iPads and iPhones' or something like that.

NB: if you don't even see the menu bar that has options like 'File, Edit, View, etc', first click the black/white square button on the top left of your screen, and then click 'show menu bar'. It should pop right up.

You can't reformat it and not wipe everything on it.
Have you tried a different USB port?
Only other option, back it up on a different computer.

Then you can't remove it, but you can stop using it. Sign out (in System Preferences>iCloud) but before you do make a backup of your contacts and calendars .......

If you just click the small x in the tab you are currently viewing, it will close only that tab. I think you are clicking the x in upper right hand corner of the screen which closes all open tabs as you described.

Could anybody tell me how I can save date + time to a file, so that I can display on a diagram(excel) : date+time in (ox) and data (oy)? :
My program sets in (ox) the point number and not the date+time....( although date and time are written correctly in the column...)

excel uses 01.01.1900 00:00 as the time offset, LabVIEW uses 01.01.1904 02:00, so you can't display the correct datetime in excel when you write the time as a fractional number of seconds from LabVIEW. you must format the datetime in LabVIEW to a string and write that to the column. use the "Format Date/Time String" - function and for example "%d.%m.%Y %H:%M:%S%3u" as the format string (see the functions help for more examples). you also could format your data to a string using "Format Into String" - function and write the file as a 2D string array. the decimal point you have to use depends on your system and its settings, but you can specify the decimal point in the Format string like "%.;%f" (means fractional number with point as decimal point).

HT5824 how can i retrieve my photos and notes ?

My ipad mini stopped working in July, and Apple replaced it with a new device, however i lost all my notes and photos, so from the lesson learnt i have been taking downloads into my laptop. Today, when i tried the same, it displayed the new serial number of the new device(which hadn't happened during the last few backups) and aked me if its the same users as (previous ipad name) i agreed, and then all my current data between starting use of new device and today vanished without being downloaded, AND all the stuff in the previous data from the old device is back !!! I m stumped cos i have no clue what happened, i desperately need my data back, unable to restore through icloud, though my photostream handle was on...I'm very hopeful though, cos all that i had lost earlier, just came back today, just dont know how, so that i can do it again, request for advice and inputs, on how to get to the screen that asked me if i it was the same ipad and started restoring all the previous data... Plz help...Thanks in advance...

Photos in photo stream...
You can log into your iCloud account on another computer or device and enable photo stream to see your photos. You should do this as soon as possible because photo stream in the cloud only keeps photos for 30 days and each day you delay, you will lose another days photos.
Photos in the camera roll...
If you kept a back up of your device you can use it to restore to a replacement device, this will restore all of the photos in your camera roll and isn't time limited.

How can I import only jpeg and not jpeg plus RAW into Photos on iPad?

I capture both on my camera. I do post-shoot processing on computer (Lightroom/Photoshop) but want to see larger previews on iPad (the "new" version with retina display) than my camera LCD allows. I am using the Apple hadware adaptor to load from an SD card. The RAW files are taking up way too much memory on the iPad--it seems Photos imports both files at once. I can't figure our how to tell it to import only the smaller JPEG files.
If there is a better App than Photos for this, please advise. Note I will not be doing any serious editing on the iPad.

It doesn't matter what App you use it will copy all the photos from the SD card.
But I have a workaround;
All you do is import your JPEG+RAW images using the camera connection kit.
Go to Albums in the Photo App, choose Change, Choose New Album, give name, choose Last import, choose Select all photos, choose Finish.
Now go back into the photos app and delete all the photos from your "Last import" Album. It will say that it is going to delete them everywhere but really it doesnt because it leaves the JPEG in the new album. The result is that you will only have your JPEGs that you imported in your camera roll and the RAW images get deleted.
First try out before you delete photos from SD card!
