How can I eradicate this "Visual Touch" malware form my Mac OS X on google chrome?
I have tried everything i've seen in these forums so far, removing all extensions, manually added suggested filters & even uninstalled the entire browser and its contents on my device but still i am seeing the disgusting double underlined advertising haunting a large proportion of web pages i am visiting.
Any help would be appreciated to finding a credible solution. Although it's advised to remove the adblock software as it is the potential cause it is unbearable surfing without it. So after trying every advised antidote i've just reinstalled it, and living with the double green line bullsh*t.
Also i almost never use safari, just google chrome but when i went to try safari it looks like the parisite and found its way on to that browser too.
Is there any type of malware software to search the computer which can successfully find and remove the cause of this ongoing issue? please it's insatiably irritating

First, understand that these pop-ups are not caused by a virus and your computer has not been affected. This "hijack" is limited to your web browser. Also understand that these messages are scams, so do not pay any money, call the listed number, or provide any personal information. This article will outline the solution to dismiss the pop-up.
Quit Safari
Usually, these pop-ups will not go away by either clicking "OK" or "Cancel." Furthermore, several menus in the menu bar may become disabled and show in gray, including the option to quit Safari. You will likely have to force quit Safari. To do this, press Command + option + esc, select Safari, and press Force Quit.
Relaunch Safari
If you relaunch Safari, the page will reopen. To prevent this from happening, hold down the 'Shift' key while opening Safari. This will prevent windows from the last time Safari was running from reopening.

try NeoOffice or OpenOffice. I don't know what apps you have. Pages might open it or TextEdit, but, again, I don't know. All I can do is suggest. If you are really a stickler for format, if you're on that dell PC again, try saving the document as a .pdf and then putting it on the thumb drive.

I believe it is due to copyright issues, but regardless, Apple does not make uploading from the ipod to your computer possible out of the box. There are freeware applications out there, like on Version Tracker, that will do this. The easiest solution to the question you posed is to simply import the desired CDs into your itunes library, then sync.
Secondly, this question is better suited to the ipod forum.

I've had my mac for less than a month and for the first time I put in a disc. I can hear a laser sort of noise as well as the disc flapping about or a motor sort of sound? Sounds really bad to me :/

Sounds like a hardware issue.
Did you buy the system from Apple? If so how recent is recent? If it is new you have 14 days to return it, not sure what the situation is with refurb systems. If it is over 14 days you should still have warranty support make an appointment at an Apple Store or contact Apple support.
If you bought it from someone other then Apple you will need to contact them.

Are you using the Mac App Store or the iTunes Store? They are not the same. However, the process is similar. Log out of the Apple ID you are now using and log in with the Apple ID you wish to use. You cannot upgrade/update apps purchased under one Apple ID when using another. All purchases are tied permanently to the Apple ID used to purchase them.

     My iPod touch is always recognized by my Vista Box...using the same USB cable and port my wife's nano isn't detected anymore. Since Vista can't see the nano iTunes can't see it either. When I try my wife's nano I get the message:

I am currently an owner of an Ipod Touch 4th generation. I see you are having problems with your Ipod Touch, so I will try to find a solution to your problem.
Hold down the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10sec. or until Apple logo appears (Nothing will be lost, this is just a "Hard Reset")
