How can I erase my remote past browsing history, e.g., more than year ago, only?

I discovered that Firefox has my browsing history going back to 2012. I don't want to turn off the history recording feature, but I also don't want Firefox saving things I will never need. Is there some way I can set it to automatically erase everything more than six months, a year, etc. old? I'm running the latest Firefox (28) using Windows 7.

Currently, Firefox determines how much history to save based on available disk space.
You can reduce the space to save less history, but to set a date-based cut-off, you would need an add-on.
Maybe this one? I haven't tried it myself: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/expire-history-by-days/

To turn on/off retail mode, go to settings, general, legal.
Do not open legal, just put the cursor there.
Then, on the remote, type this sequence : right - right - left - center.
The AppleTV should reboot.

I'm still trying to find a way to do this simple task. Everyone has home networks now and not able to simply browse to a folder where you keep your video/music files is quite a problem with such a brand new, ultimate tablet. I can even do this with my Android phone I have. I have terabytes worth of music and movies and if I can't watch them with this ipad tablet then I for sure will return this tablet and buy Android from now on. According to your description, my understanding is that you want to get a specific list item form a list which with more than 100000 items using C#.
I suggest you can use CAML Query with some condition and set Row Limit to specify the number of items to return.

How can I disable the limit on stored themes , and save more than 30 themes on my firefox ?

I spent this afternoon searching through themes and personas , and installing the ones i liked.
i added about 50-60 themes to firefox , but later i noticed that i only have 30 personas (in add-ons manager > appearances )
So is there a limit to our installed themes ? obviously there is , but how can I add more themes and personas to my appearances collection ?
30 seems like a very low number... is there any way to overcome this limit and save and store more themes ?

Firefox only stores data of a maximum number of personas (DEFAULT_MAX_USED_THEMES_COUNT=30)

If you install more personas then Firefox will remove other personas to make room for the new persona, so it is best to keep a list or bookmark the site of your favorite personas.
You can override that maximum by creating an Integer pref with the name lightweightThemes.maxUsedThemes and set its value accordingly.

How can I save a website as a favorite place under more than one file folder? I think I used to have this ability, now it'll only save it in one place.

What this does for me is allow me to find rarely accessed websites by looking under different kinds of categories of favorite places. If I'm restricted to only one location for the data it makes it harder to find.

In the past, if I created a new file folder and saved a webpage to the new folder, it would persist even after I saved it a 2nd time to a different folder. Now, if I save it to a 2nd folder, it will disappear from the 1st folder.

You can do a Copy & Paste in the Bookmarks Manager (Shift+Ctrl+B) to create a copy of a bookmark.<br />
You can also drag the website's favicon on the left end of the location bar to a folder into the Bookmarks menu drop down list or to a folder in the Bookmarks side bar (Ctrl+B) or onto the Bookmarks Toolbar.<br />
In the side bar you need to click to the left of the icon to prevent Firefox from opening the bookmark.

In Mountain Lion, I considered myself a fairly expert user of Pages. Since "upgrading" to Mavericks, I can't get even basic things to work anymore. My current problem is that the headers and footers are only showing up on the first page of each section. A related annoyance is that if I copy the information in a header or footer, all the associated formatting disappears when I paste it. But the first problem is the one that matters — headers and footers that only show up on one page sort of negate the whole point of headers and footers.

You have to have had Find My iPhone active on the device before it was stolen, and it has to be connected to the Internet via wifi or cellular. You can send a wipe command to the phone and if it does get connected, it will wipe the phone. If you did not have Find My iPhone active, there is nothing you can do.

- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.

If you've already deleted the files and emptied the Trash they are already, in effect, erased. At least the disk space they occupied is now available.
To be able to offer help we need more information about which Mac you have, which OS you are running, how much RAM you have installed, how much hard disk space you have available, etc.
Go to the Apple Menu>About this Mac - copy and paste the contents of the report here (deleting the serial number of your machine). Once we have that info, I'm sure someone will have some suggestions.
