How can I erase the pictures from the photo stream?
I can't find the way to erase the pictures from the photostream, can somebody tell me how I do it?
and why the camera takes so long to open??
To remove Albums she added, tap Edit, then you'll see options to delete those albums.

If you've already deleted the files and emptied the Trash they are already, in effect, erased. At least the disk space they occupied is now available.
To be able to offer help we need more information about which Mac you have, which OS you are running, how much RAM you have installed, how much hard disk space you have available, etc.
Go to the Apple Menu>About this Mac - copy and paste the contents of the report here (deleting the serial number of your machine). Once we have that info, I'm sure someone will have some suggestions. -
I have an Olymput E620 and iPad 4th generation, how can I download the pictures off the camera to the iPad?
The only cable I can find with lightning and usb is the apple camera adaptor but it is £25 from Apple which is a bit expensive if it will not work. Some peoples reviews seem to say this will not work, I can not use the camera reader by Apple as this only takes SD cards and my camera takes XD and compact flash cards. I have realised that you cannot use this cable on a card reader which is a shame and means taking more cables on holiday with you and more likely to get lost. This is so frustrating as one of the reasons of buying the iPad was to use, to transport photos whilst away instead of having lots of cards which do get lost and damaged. I hope someone can help as there seems to be a lot of confusion as to what works in cases like this.go to start - computer - right click on ipod and import pics.

No recycle bin. When selecting Delete for a photo in the Camera Roll, a big red Delete Photo button is provided along with Cancel. Selecting Delete Photos means deleted.
Photos/videos in the Camera Roll can and should be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera. The Camera Roll is also included with your iPhone's backup which is updated by iTunes as the first step during the iTunes sync process. If you synced your iPhone with iTunes since the photos were captured by your iPhone and you haven't synced your iPhone with iTunes again since the photos were deleted, you can try restoring your iPhone with iTunes from your iPhone's backup.
If you have an iCloud account, you have the option to update your iPhone's backup wirelessly which is automatic when your iPhone is connected to a power source while connected to an available wi-fi network. With an iCloud account, you also have the Photo Stream option. All photos captured by your iPhone are placed in your iCloud Photo Stream. Deleting a photo from your iPhone's Camera Roll does not delete the photo from your Photo Stream. -
Ok so my computer crashed and i had to restore my computer to factory settings so i took all my pictures off my computer and put them on my phone well i fixed my computer so now i wanna put the pictures back on my computer is there a way i can do it without having to email each pictures to myself?
The picture sync is ONE-WAY - computer to iphone. Iphone is not a storage device or a backup device.
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer. Use your backup copy to put the pics back.
When you sync pics from your computer to your iphone they are reduced in resolution. They will never be of the original resolution, but you can e-mail them to yourself. -

Hmm...Double click on the Home button and try to delete the camera app then launch it again that should fix it. You can also turn off your phone and turn it back on again.

Please help. I have updated to the IOS 7 and there was a cool feature in the Music app wherein when you view an album artist, i think apple updates the picture of that artist from their gallery. But when I decided to restore to factory defaults, it never came back and only uses the picture from the albums.
I have the same problem. After a full restore my iphone 5 does not display the artist photos, but it does show the correct album covers once i go into that group. Instead i get a grey box with diagonal writing saying the band name but no picture.

I unfortunately just got my IPhone 4s stolen.I thought I had the find my iPhone enabled but I didn't because I cannot locate the phone when I sign in ICloud.I have a password on the phone but i'm not sure if I turned on the option where the phone resets if you incorrectly put the password more than ten time. I immediately called my phone company (Verizon) and reported the phone stolen.So I know whoever took the phone cannot place calls or use the phone. But can they still access my data on the phone if they manage to unlock the phone? If so how can I erase all data on the phone so the thief can't access my personal information? is there any other way other than Find my IPhone to wipe off the data on the phone? I really don't want my personal information such as pictures, text messages, notes and social networks profile available to a stranger!!? Help please!!!

You are able to activate an old device and process an insurance claim for your iPhone 4s within 60days from the incident date. Keep in mind if the old phone is not a smartphone and you currently have unlimited data that feature will fall off. If you have a tier data plan no changes will be made. I tried to download my pictures with my memory card from my camera (this has always been sucessful) however the pictures would not download, and appear to be encrypted and unable to view, also not saved in my 'Iphotos' This also erased the pictures from the memory card. Help.....anyway of retrieving them?
With the amount of information you've provided it's impossible to offer a potential solution. We can't see your computer so we need to know the details of your problem and setup, i.e.:
what version of iPhoto are you using?
what system version are you running?
did you get a message when trying to import from the memory card?
did you use a card reader?
what was you exact workflow for attempting the import?
what fixes have you tried?
where is your library located?
did you apply any updates or upgrades just prior to the problem occurring?
are you running a "managed" or "referenced" library? See image below:
what type of Mac?
how much free space on your boot drive?

Just recently had to replace my iPad, backed up my old iPad on iCloud can't find my pictures from the old iPad any ideas?
Navigate to Settings > General > Software Update and install any updates available.
Navigate to Settings > General > Reset > Erase all contents and settings on the device you want to restore.
When this completes and the Set-Up Assistant starts, choose "Restore from iCloud Backup" and enter your iCloud account and password. You will see the three most recent backups for each of the devices on which you enabled Backup. Choose which backup to restore from. -

Pictures in Photo Library are synced from your computer and must be deleted from there, followed by re-sync. Photos in Camera Roll can be deleted from your iPhone directly (tap arrow in top right, tap the pictures you want to delete, press the Delete button).

How can I make different catalogs from the same image
How can I make different catalogs from the same image where that image has been changed in some way between the catalogs. For instance if I wanted to have a catalogs for cropped images and have 3 catalogs one for 4x6 , 5x7 and 8x10 cropping. When I tried this , if I changed a file in one catalog that same image in the other would change also.
Do not confuse the creation of the crops and the display in collections per crop ratio.
Of course one virtual copy (VC) per crop ratio is needed. If the same image should be cropped in all 3 mentioned ratios there would be 3 VCs.
The OP asked how to have/see a set of same-crop-ratios.
After having created the virtual copies for whatever crop ratio he wants, the way to display this result in the fashion asked for is via smart collections, provided they can be found. Without a plugin the naming of the VC with the crop ratio applied is a straight way to achieve that.
IF the wish is to get new crops automatically added. (See my answers 2+3)
IF the wish is to creat static collections per crop ratio for a certain set of images, I'd go as follows:
1. Select all images you want to have cropped in that way,.
2. With this selection click on the + to add another collection and fill the dialog box like this:
Then navigate into this newly created selection and perform the 4x6 crop - according to taste individually or by synchronizing the first crop.
