How can i escape two quotes to assign text to string ?

I have this text: <li><a
href="/en/
And i want to assign the text to a string:
string t1 = "<li><a href="/en/";
But i'm getting error on the en

So you just can remove the last quote as
string t1 = "<li><a href=\"/en/"
