How can I exchange my black iPhone 5 for the white one?

My preordered black iPhone 5 came with a few minor nicks, and after much thought, I'd prefer the white one. How do I go about exchanging it, and is there any fee involved?

Im also thinking about switching it for the white one. I got my black replacement and its flawless but the white one is looking more appealing to me. I have VZW so I would have to go through customer service which they make you buy the phone and they refund you when they receive the other one.

No, you cannot exchange your iPhone for another one, and your iPhone is also out of the return time period. You can sell your iPhone, however, and put the money towards a white one.

No. Your "problem" isn't covered by the warranty. It's not malfunctioning. It's working exactly as it was designed to. Sell your phone and use the proceeds to buy a new one.
You can't get a replacement from your car just because the newer models off the line are being built with a feature yours didn't come with.

Your iPhone is far past the return period, and that would be the only way, to return it and get the white one. So, it cannot be exchanged. If you get a replacement due to the issues, it would be the same model, including the color.

If you didn't get the iPhone from the Apple Store, then the chances of them allowing an exchange is very small, but you can ask. Most dealers, and this includes the Apple Stores, will only accept a return of a product purchased from that store.

Yep, that's the only message that popped out. Nothing else. Yes, it's running on the latest ios and I still can't restore it. I called apple and they told me it's probably something wrong with their servers. Anyway thanks for the advice.

If streaming music when connected to your carrier's cellular network, it uses cellular data.
Only the music you purchased from the iTunes Store can be streamed unless you have purchased iTunes Match.
If there is a slow down at the server where the music is stored or high traffic, steaming can be paused. You can also download a song from the iTunes Store cloud to your iPhone so it doesn't need to be steamed.
