How can I export a mailbox of messages as plain text?

I have a mailbox filled with correspondence from a colleague. About 150 messages in all, some with attachments. I'd like to print out all the messages in that folder but not one at a time. I was hoping to be able to save them all as plain text and convert them to a PDF for two-sided printing. Examining individual messages in Text Wrangler, I see that they are all XML-based messages and, so, filled with XML codes. Is there any simple way to convert or export these without manipulating each individual message?
Yes, I could print each message individually, but that's going to take a long time and waste a lot of paper.

Select the messages. Choose File > Save As…. You'll get a pop-up menu to select Rich Text, Plain Text, or Raw Source.
If you choose rich text or plain text, the messages will appear in TextEdit as if they run together. Select Format > Wrap to Page, and you will see each message starts a new page.

When I visited the Roxio website, and found numerous other company products, the descriptions all seemed to suggest that most of the apps shown can easily export videos to DVDs, but nothing was said about finished digital slide shows being exported. At future events soon, I hope to be handing out these finished DVDs (free) to the people in them. Any help will be greatly appreciated. A.Z.

Aperture cannot burn slideshows to a DVD. It only can export a video of your slideshow.
In Aperture 3 you use the "Export" button in Aperture's slideshow project to render a video to a folder on your disk.
Then you use iDVD or another program to burn a video DVD.

Could you please describe the exact steps that are causing these error messages?
How are you exporting your slideshow from Aperture? Which settings are you using? And how are you importing the video to iDVD or Toast to burn a video DVD?

In Mail.app, how can we specify the Mailbox for Notes (where the new notes will be resided)? It is now 'On My Mac'. I wish to change to my IMAP Mailbox so it sync with my iPhone by just checking email (not by syncing on iTunes).

You could use the DecimalFormat or NumberFormat to do the job.

I have customers that fill-out a request form online, then the data is sent to our database on our server, and another copy is sent to my email account. The server database got corrupted and is now lost. The only data left are in my email app called APPLE MAIL. I have created Filtered Folders so the data is just in one Folder, not mixed with all other emails. Is there a way to export the email names & addresses from APPLE MAIL to a CVS file or Excel file?

Sorry but your iPhoto library is not on an iPad or iPod - you may have photos there (most likely low resolution copies) but not an iPhoto library - dying computers (along with software and human errors) are why you always must have a backup - now is the time to load it

Try Mail>Preferences>Accounts icon>Account Information tab>Click on the Outgoing SMTP server drop down, choose edit Server list, highlight the old one & click Remove.

Does the old phone have the old apple ID ?
If it does then sign out of the old iCloud account, Keep your info on your phone, sign in with new apple ID, then merge to cloud. Give it a few minutes. You should see the other contacts appear on your new phone via iCloud.

that indicates that PS wants to save it as a PS formatted file. You'll need to either select JPEG from the menu and save (top image) or click on the desktop in the Navigation window (bottom image) and save it to the desktop for importing as a new photo.
This method will let iPhoto know that the photo has been editied and will update the thumbnail file to reflect the edit..
NOTE: With Photoshop Elements 9 the Saving File preferences should be configured as shown:

NOTE: If you want to use both iPhoto's editing mode and PS without having to go back and forth to the Preference pane, once you've selected PS as your editor of choice, reset the Preferences back to "Open in main window". That will let you either edit in iPhoto (double click on the thumbnail) or in PS (Control-click on the thumbnail and seledt "Edit in external editor" in the Contextual menu). This way you get the best of both worlds.

Before you can decide what to do, you have to know what you are starting with. Sony MPEG-1 files would be converted one way while DivX or WMV files would likely be handled in another. Extraneous tracks can be removed directly with QT Pro but if you don't have QT Pro then there may or may not be other work around possibilities depending on the specific audio and video compression formats in use. The best place to start would normally be to double-clic the source file in iPhoto to open it in the QT Player. When it opens in the QT Player, check the "Inspector" window to see what it says on the "Format:" lines. This will tell you the type of audio and video content you are dealing with here. Then come and tell us so we can offer some specific conversion solutions.

Yes, you can but there is a trick to it.
In the Export Dialog under <Image Sizing> select Widdth & Height.
Then enter 750 pixels for Height.
Put your cursor into the Width field behind all the numbers that appear there and with the backspace key delete the numbers. If you enter "0" it will not accept that. But it accepts when you just delete the field for Width with the backspace key. The Width field will now be just blank.
When you then export all image will have a height of 750 pixels and the width will fall variously according to thne height / width ratio.
Or alternatively you can enter 7.5" for height at a resolution of 100 ppi.

To make a 24-bit AVI file in Photoshop, go to File>Export>Render Video. Then, under File Options, choose AVI from the Quicktime Export drop-down menu. Click the Settings button. Click the Settings button in the AVI Settings window. Change Compression to None, and then choose "Millions of Colors" from the Depth drop-down under Compression.
The Millions of Colors option is for 24-bit video (8-bit R+G+B channels, 8x3=24). Millions of Colors+ is for 32-bit video (24-bit video plus an 8-bit alpha channel).
