Launch Keychain Access and click on Login in the left hand pane and then on Passwords. Next do search for Apple in the search field at the top and click on Apple ID Authenicication in the list that comes up. That will give you the ID no. and password.

Many thanks JEM24 for your help. Ive just spent the best part of six hundred pounds on a new Sony Rx100m2 compact camera, so I have no interest in the Ipods camera at all really. I doubt Ill be watching many videos on it as Im very lucky in that I have a good Android tablet. Its more as a stock music player that Ill be buying the Ipod for, if indeed I do end up buying one. I dont like the idea of paying the exorbitant amount added for more memory space that Apple along with most other companies charge. In fact I read an article on this very subject just yesterday in the tech section of Flipboard. It stated in the article that in the case of the Iphone the actual cost of each additional gigabyte of storage to Apple et al is something in the order of 60p.. This is certainly not reflected in the price us the customer has to pay at the till.. Its for this reason primarily that Apple in particular, because their products do not allow adding expandable memory of your own in the form of cheap to buy cards, that nobody in their right mind buys the 64gig etc Iphones..I am aware that we are discussing my potential purchase of an Ipod Touch here but you see my point. Hi, my mac began saying this to me today "Start up disk almost full"
So I began deleting files. I deleted a lot via DiskWave.
But now Diskwave says I have enough space but my mac sure doesn't.
What do I do? What's all that 'other' stuff and where can I find it?

For information about the Other category in the Storage display, see this support article. If the Storage display seems to be inaccurate, try rebuilding the Spotlight index.
Empty the Trash if you haven't already done so. If you use iPhoto, empty its internal Trash first:
iPhoto ▹ Empty Trash
Do the same in other applications, such as Aperture, that have an internal Trash feature. Then restart the computer. That will temporarily free up some space.
According to Apple documentation, you need at least 9 GB of available space on the startup volume (as shown in the Finder Info window) for normal operation. You also need enough space left over to allow for growth of the data. There is little or no performance advantage to having more available space than the minimum Apple recommends. Available storage space that you'll never use is wasted space.
When Time Machine backs up a portable Mac, some of the free space will be used to make local snapshots, which are backup copies of recently deleted files. The space occupied by local snapshots is reported as available by the Finder, and should be considered as such. In the Storage display of System Information, local snapshots are shown as Backups. The snapshots are automatically deleted when they expire or when free space falls below a certain level. You ordinarily don't need to, and should not, delete local snapshots yourself. If you followed bad advice to disable local snapshots by running a shell command, you may have ended up with a lot of data in the Other category. Ask for instructions in that case.
See this support article for some simple ways to free up storage space.
You can more effectively use a tool such as OmniDiskSweeper (ODS) or GrandPerspective (GP) to explore the volume and find out what's taking up the space. You can also delete files with it, but don't do that unless you're sure that you know what you're deleting and that all data is safely backed up. That means you have multiple backups, not just one. Note that ODS only works with OS X 10.8 or later. If you're running an older OS version, use GP.
Deleting files inside an iPhoto or Aperture library will corrupt the library. Any changes to a photo library must be made from within the application that created it. The same goes for Mail files.
Proceed further only if the problem isn't solved by the above steps.
ODS or GP can't see the whole filesystem when you run it just by double-clicking; it only sees files that you have permission to read. To see everything, you have to run it as root.
Back up all data now.
If you have more than one user account, make sure you're logged in as an administrator. The administrator account is the one that was created automatically when you first set up the computer.
Install the app you downloaded in the Applications folder as usual. Quit it if it's running.
Triple-click anywhere in the corresponding line of text below on this page to select it, then copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C:

Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Paste into the Terminal window by pressing command-V. You'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. Type carefully and then press return. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you see a message that your username "is not in the sudoers file," then you're not logged in as an administrator.
The application window will open, eventually showing all files in all folders, sorted by size. It may take a few minutes for the app to finish scanning.
I don't recommend that you make a habit of doing this. Don't delete anything as root. If something needs to be deleted, make sure you know what it is and how it got there, and then delete it by other, safer, means. When in doubt, leave it alone or ask for guidance.
When you're done with the app, quit it and also quit Terminal.

The gain setting defaults to unity gain, but it is selectable to x10 or x100, also. (This is your pre-digitizing gain, of course...after it's in digital form, you can tweak the gain to anything you want in your VI.

Hi everybody,
I just bought a 5800 (X-Music). To tell you the truth I did not have any problem in dowloading the maps and establishing a first GPS lock. For the time being I use the set off-line (no SIM card inserted). Since I have a flat internet connection at home (Wifi) I also managed to set-up e.mail and go to internet . In other words all functions, that require an internet link, work fine with my home wifi.
What worries me is that when I will eventually use the set on-line (I do not have a flat data  profile with my provider) I could be caught into dowloading lots of Mb traffic spending a fortune. For the time I have excluded the A-GPS (Only Integrated is ON).
My questions are :
How can I make sure that using the phone outside my home I do not get linked to internet using GPS  or other features ?
What are the GPS limitations that I will face with in this case (i.e. not using any internet link)?

Make sure that your "Destinations" does not include your phone provider's internet connection is either not present (i.e. delete it a destination so that it can never be used at all), or if you decide to leave it for use as a last resort (as I do), then make sure it is the lowest priority of all your destinations. In addition, modify its settings so that it is set to "always ask" when used, and set your WiFi to "automatic."
Now I know you are asking about Maps, but there are apps that will not check with you - e.g. Nokia messaging 10.2 (will use your 3G automatically), Opera Mobile, if you say "default" connection, may use your 3G, Video Center may need to be configured for your WiFi connection, etc. In short, examine each app that you plan to use, that requires a net connection, and examine it's settings & make sure it prefers your WiFi connection. You may want to check/search for previous posts in the Connectivity forum.
As for Maps, make sure you don't set it to log in automatically on startup, and set search to offline search & finally, pre-download any maps you think you may need using Map Loader. You should be all set.
