kindly be informed that i backed my iphone 4G , then i updated to the latest verison on IOS 6.0.1, then after updating i tried to restore from my latest backup. but in evertime i am trying to restore it gives me an error " that the backup file maybe corrupted or isnt compatible with this iphone. kindly advise as i lost more than 900 contacts and over 4000 photos regarding the other media files and some notes.

how can i fix my iphone 4 if it got stuck on the apple icon while rebooting after i downloaded ios6 if my power button is stuck? because ive tried everything and nothing works it wont let me restore...im very dissatisfied about this apple, i thought you guys had better service....when i called for help the tech told me i could only bring it to the nearest apple store, and thats 4 hours away!!!!

Try reset all settings.
Settings > General > Reset > Reset all settings. It won't delete any data.

Are you getting an error code? Have you looked it up using the handy link?

Assuming you haven't taken up too much memory from apps to hold the 11 gigs of music...
After you plug in your iPhone, go to the music tab. Make sure you have it set to sync all music.
If apps/books/etc. leave you with less than 11 gig of space for you music, make playlists and sync those instead

On the audio book (and podcast) playing screen there is a playback speed selector. It is the box on the right hand side of the screen right below the scrubber bar. It say either 1/2X, 1X or 2X, the playback speeds. Tap the box to cycle through the playback speeds.

May be you have turned the DO NO DISTURB in your iphone settings.
Check as below DND settings
Settings>>Do Not Disturb
If you are iPhone is on version iOS 5.X there was a bug which does not let the DO NOT DISTURB function properly.

I plugged in my iPhone 4 to do a sync this afternoon. I got the message that there was a software update. Sadly, I've updated to the crappy iOS7, so I chose to install the update (which I think is 7.0.2.) The update was downloaded, and was loading to my iPhone. I suddenly received an error that my iPhone couldn't update. I think it had an error code of 411. My iTunes refreshed, and is now not showing that it recognized my phone. Now the only thing I can get to show up on my screen is a graphic of the iTunes icon, and an arrow directing me to plug in my phone. When I do this, a message appears that iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode and that I must restore this phone before it can be used with iTunes. I don't want to perform a restore. I will lose all my data. So, why did this error? How can I fix my iPhone without doing a restore?

Plug it into a wall outlet and leave it plugged in for approximately 20 minutes.
Then try a reset by pressing and holding the home and power buttons for 15-20 seconds.
Does the device power on at this point? If not, the battery or logic board is gone.
Take it to Apple for evaluation.
It may be worth replacing the battery, but I personally wouldn't spend the $149US for an Out of Warranty replacement on a 3+yr old device.

You will need an sql reader to view the contents,
