How can I fix gaps in a continuous underline?

I've got a landscape document with a text box that's been rotated 90 degrees (so the text goes "up"). The text has underlines that extend up to a custom made image so each piece of text is sort of joined with a specific image. I'm using text-underline to create the line. I customized the weight to 2pt. I'm noticing gaps in the underline at seemingly random points. I've tried using tabs and spaces together, instead of just pure spaces, but the gaps show up in the same places. I don't see any gaps on my screen, but they show up when I print. Any idea what's going on?
Here's a screenshot on my computer. The lines are continual "text underline" made with spaces (not tabs, but I've tried that and it does the same thing).
Here's how the image prints. I've added some arrows to show the gaps. Not every line has a problem, but most do. I can't figure out if there's any consistency between the lines that have problems and the ones that don't

YES!!! I didn't realize it but the images themselves have some artifacts in them. I thought they are just a monochrome foreground object with all transparent background, but as it turns out there have some white lines near the bottom. The effect I'm seeing is the overlay because the images, just randomly, happy to be "arranged" on top of the text. I can't see this artifact on the screen because InDesign does a very aggressive downsampling of the image on screen (I hear that's to save computer resources since InDesign images can, obviously, get extremely image intensive). Now that I know the problem the solution is trivial!! I simply context clicked (aka right click) on the text box and selected "Arrange => Bring To Front". All good now. =]

I had the same issue and I found turning off safai extensions fixed the issue. Must be an extension that's causing this problem.

If that is your intent, finding a substitute program that will run on your Mac may not be as efficient. Others can advise you on alternatives, or you can post a new thread specifically with that question.
BTW: what Mac and what version of OS X?
If it is important to you to continue to use DVD Studio Pro, consider the option of installing Snow Leopard (with Rosetta) into Parallels on your Mac:

Contact Apple and request a 10.4 or possibly a 10.5 distribution disk for this system, if you've not obtained that DVD disk from the seller.
Boot and use that distribution disk to wipe the hard disk via Disk Utility, and to then reinstall OS X.
Best to start with a fresh installation of OS X, as that'll provide the default environment and not something that's been customized and extended by the previous owner.
The last OS X version that was supported for most PowerMac G5 systems was 10.5.8, and that would be preferable — if your Mac supports that.
If you're not sure which Mac you have, then use the  > About This Mac from the menu and request more information on the system. You're looking for a model number listed there, and that'd be something like PowerMac7,3 or PowerMac11,2 for a ~2005-vintage PowerMac system. Whatever model number you have can then be used to determine the general specs for the configuration, and what the last version of OS X that was supported for the system.

You might need to use a faster internet connection or stonger wifi signal, or download them to your iTunes library (see http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519) and sync them to your iPad to watch them.

The problem is probably that the index is corrupt and you need to completely re-create it rather than rebuilding individual mailboxes. I have no idea what the situation really is now after having tinkered with the contents of ~/Library/Mail/, though, so the following procedure may or may not work.
Verify/repair the startup disk (not just permissions), as described here:
The Repair functions of Disk Utility: what's it all about?
After having fixed all filesystem issues, if any, and making sure that there’s enough space available on the startup disk (a few GB, plus the space needed to make a backup copy of the Mail folder), try this:
1. Quit Mail if it’s running.
2. In the Finder, go to ~/Library/Mail/. Make a backup copy of this folder, just in case something goes wrong -- e.g. by dragging it to the Desktop while holding the Option (Alt) key down.
3. Locate Envelope Index and move it to the Trash. If you see an Envelope Index-journal file there, delete it as well.
4. Open Mail. It will tell you that your mail needs to be “imported”. Click Continue and Mail will proceed to re-create Envelope Index -- Mail says it’s “importing”, but it just re-creates the index if the mailboxes are already in Mail 2.x format.
Note: For those not familiarized with the ~/ notation, it refers to the user’s home folder, i.e. ~/Library is the Library folder within the user’s home folder.

Try contacting iTunes via email to check if there is an issue with the account. go to apple.com/support/itunes
Click on iTunes Store account and billing and select inquiries. On the right side click on "email us".
Before doing that trying viewing your account information first. Open the iTunes on you mac, look at the menu and select store and select view my account. Try removing the card (this is only applicable if you don't have a pending charges with iTunes) and hit done. Sign out, quit iTunes and sign back in and try updating the apps again.

I have tried and successfully completed the iBooks ambient soundtrack option in Fixed Layout ePub. It works fine.
But while trying the same in Reflow ePub, it is not working in iPad iBooks. I have latest iBooks version and latest iOS version in my iPad.
Please let me know how can I code to play audio continuously from page to page in iBooks for reflow ePub?

You cannot. Copy everything you want form the old computer to the new one, then sync it.

Correct Iphone will sync, or manually manage, with one and only one computer/library at a time. Syncing, or manually managing, to another will indeed erase the current content.

If your back up continually fails, you might try turning off back up on your mobile device (settings > iCloud > storage & backup) and then deleting the backup file from iCloud by swiping the backup file on the mobile device (settings > iCloud > storage & backup > manage…) and then turning back up on again.
Being able to back up to the cloud can be very useful, especially if you don't have access to a computer or have infrequent access to one, however unless you specifically need to use iCloud for back up, you will find backing up to iTunes significantly more convenient and possibly more reliable.
