I have a problem: my jack is nearly broken. when i plug my earphones, i only have "half" of the sound. the problem is fixed when i turn the plug but this is really ennoying.

- Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Try inserting/removing the plug a dozen times or so.
Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for this price. They do not fix yours.

If you restored the hard drive to its original factory-new contents using the Toshiba recovery media, then the problem is almost certainly due to malfunctioning hardware.

Hi there, to authorize a computer, you open up itunes, and at the very very top lefthand corner, there will be a little window. Click on that, and it will present you with a list of options. From there, you go to the third option down, which says "Itunes Store," hover over it with your mouse, and it will give you another set of options. From there, you can see the two options, "Authorize" an "Deauthorize computer. Just click on "Authorize," enter in your apple ID and password, and your computer will be authorized! You have two choices, either get a replacement install DVD for your Mac ( best choice) or make another disk a system disk.
Option 1 call Apple and request a replacement install DVD for you Mac. They will charge you a nominal fee for shipping and handling. You really should have that because it is considered part of your Mac.
Option 2 This one depends on exactly what kind of errors you have on the disk.
If the data is recoverable, you can clone to the other drive.
If not, then you are in trouble and need the install DVD to install an operating system.

In a group I can receive iMessages, but only respond as a text. How can I fix this without deleting the thread?

I had been sending group imessages in a thread earlier in the day on my iPhone 5 and later when I got my iPhone 6 I received an iMessage in the thread and sent an iMessage back, but when the other person responded it showed up as received from unknown. Once that happened I can still receive iMessages from the other two people in the thread, but I can only send a text back. If I send an iMessage individually to each person everything is fine and as it's always been. It's just the when I send a message in the group. I've tried signing out of iMessage and turning off iMessage and restarting my iPhone. Nothing seems to work. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Your wireless carrier may restrict the maximum number of recipients allowed in a group message with MMS.
Disabling Group Messaging has no effect on iMessage behavior. Responses to group iMessages are always sent to all recipients.

In latest Nightly, arrow keys don't move the cursor but instead exit the text box. How can I fix this so that the arrow keys move the cursor?

Using Nightly 28.0a1, I'm having a problem with the text box fields when typing. I use Hacker's Keyboard which has onscreen arrow keys and I find it more convenient than fiddling with a tiny cursor thumb when editing text. On the Play Store Firefox it works just fine but on Nightly, any time I try to move the cursor with the arrow keys it jumps out of the text box and highlights other elements on the page. This is annoying beyond belief as it means having to resort to that imprecise thumb cursor that takes forever to get where you want it. Is this a known issue with the latest nightly builds?

Flash needs to completely unload from memory (restarting Firefox might help) before this would take effect.

I've got an display error concerning accents of the font Klavika (see images attached). Instead of "é" "È" is displayed in the flash player. Helvetica works fine.

Upgraded to CC from CS5.5 now all Illustrator templates have a 'missing font' (myraid-Italic). How can I fix this without replacing the font?

Replacing the font is not an option. This would mean resaving thousands of company files.
Also, none of the templates use Myraid Italic. They were created with Myraid Roman.
This has never been an issue when upgrading to other versions of Illustrator.
Every file I open will pop-up with the missing font notice; this is very annoying when checking numerous files (I have to click okay everytime for the file to load).

I actually have a fairly simple solution to this for Windows 7. Don't mess with your registry or delete other fonts. Go into c:/windows/fonts. Check to see that you have the set of fonts "Segoe UI". Inside this set are 6 Segoe fonts:
Regular (segoeui)
Regular Italic (segoeuii)
Bold (segoeuib)
Bold Italic (segoeuiz)
Semi Bold (seguisb)
Light (segoeuil)
You may not have them arranged in a set, but just check that you have all of them.
Make sure programs (i.e iTunes) are closed.
If you don't have the fonts, find them on the internet, ask a friend to copy and paste them, send them to you etc. They are easy and free to get. Download them to your desktop. Right click each one and "Install".
If you already have them in your fonts folder (my problem) do this: COPY (not cut) them from your c:/windows/fonts folder to your desktop. Close windows explorer. From your desktop, right click each one and "Install". You will get a message that they are already installed and do you want to install a newer version or some such. Say "Yes". They will get re-installed.
Open iTunes and you should have all your text back!
*Based on a sample of one - hopefully it works for you.
