try this;
open disk utility - verify disk permissions - repair disk permissions if errors are found. might take an hour or less - depending on how much errors needs to be repaired.
restart your macbook and see if that sorts it out for you.
also check your hard drive space. if your hard drive is almost full, that will also contribute to your macbook getting slower....

FileVault problems can be pretty serious. I'd restore from the last Time Machine or other backup you have from before this problem started.

How can i fix my mac book pro. My safari crashes all the time, my screen will turn black for no reason, My iPhoto crashes during upload from my iPhone, I can't highlight anything and I can't drag anything.

Someone PLEASE help me! I cant figure out what is going on with my computer. I don't install anything weird, but my brother does. He's very good at computer tech stuff and is in I.T, but I cant help but blame him for all the problems my Mac is having. Nothing works like it should. My safari will randomally crash, my screen will randomally turn back, my iphoto will crash during uploading from my iPhone, I cant highlight anything, I can't drag anything. When I want to click on something, I have to click over and over again just for it to even register. I know everything is up to date and recently reset my PRAM. I'm running Lion and have a lot of room on my hardrive. I have an external harddrive and I'm wondering if I should just move all of my important files over to it and completly wipe out my computer's hardrive and start from scratch.

Some folks can't leave well enough alone, and insist on downloading all sorts of additional "stuff" that ends up making their Mac unstable.
Standard Mac OS X on properly-operating Hardware does not crash, unless you start installing too many add-ons.
You can run "just the basics" by holding down the Shift key at Startup. This does one pass of Disk Repair, then loads a minimal set of extensions, and comes up in Safe Mode. If it works OK that way, but crashes in "regular", it's the add-ons.
There ia another layer of add-on junk that can be added to Safari. If the only remaining problem is Safari crashing, those add-ons can be disabled as well.

You need to update to Snow Leopard 10.6.6 to get the App store. If you're on an earlier version of Snow Leopard, just hit

How can I fix the buzzing and focus camera problem

So about 3 days ago I had used the camera to take a picture cause words couldn't do much justice. Later on about 1pm (it was working fine at 9am) I was going to use the camera for Google translate then I saw the camera wasn't working properly, like wavely then I heard some buzzing sound that I could feel on the back of the phone. I asked it on forums, which all said it's a hardware issue that "is common with that phone" I didn't drop it, at least not this year. only thing I did do is use a cable that let me plug usb devices into the phone which I had done before w/o issues. I contacted Verizon and they told me of a possible fix that didn't work. I keep wanting to use my camera but all I can do is use the front camera. Anything I can do short of going to Verizon or replace/repair the phone?

I am so sorry to hear of the camera issue. I appreciate all the details you have provided. Let's investigate into this further. Does the camera still look "wavey" or does it just buzz now? Are you using the factoy camera application on the device? Do you receive the same buzzing if you download another camera application and try to use the rear camera? What exactly it tech support have you try when you called in?

There has never been a facetime app on the iphone.
As the manual says, you access from contacts. Pick a contact and scroll down to the facetime button

FIX:
1. You need Time Machine
2. Go to folder /Library/CoreMediaIO/Plug-Ins/DAL/
3. Copy AppleCamera.plugin to good place (usb memory stick is the best place).
4. Go to Time machine in date that skype work fine.
5. Change AppleCamera.plugin with file from Time Machine
6. Restart system, Now skype need to work with camera.
If that doesnt pass,
