I get the same issue while installing Sharepoint on Win 7. I check out error logs and get to know it's SQL Server Express issue.
First I found this in DBWrapLog log:

I have an 8GB Ipod Touch 2nd Gen. The apps I already purchased don't seem to work anymore and when I go to re-install, I can't because it says I need a software update. How can I get access to the apps that I purchased?

Due to having a gen 2 Ipod, I can't download any apps from the app store. Plus, many of my previously downloaded apps (that I bought) aren't working...so I can't even re-download them since I still have 4.2.1. HELP!!! Rediculous that I can't use apps I paid for on the same device that I purchased them on.

A 2G iPod can only go as high as 4.2.1
Many developers when they updated their apps to support iOS 5 and 6 dropped compatibility for iOS 4.2.1 and earlier.
Your only way is if you have the version that was compatible on your computer such as in the recycle bin/trash or in a computer file backup. In that case delete the current version that is in your iTunes App library and replace it with the older version. Then sync.

How can I fix an unresponsive Finder?

I am using a MacBook Air, OS X Yosemite 10.10.1. I was copying my iPhoto Library to an external hard drive, when Finder locked up. Fortunately iPhoto Library completed copying but now I am unable to relaunch Finder. I have restarted the MacBook Air and shut it down entirely for a few minutes but after powering it back up I still have no response with Finder. It doesn't show up as 'open' (no light under the icon), when I click it nothing happens.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
Step 1
For this step, the title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
          SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
          View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen.
In the top right corner of the Console window, there's a search box labeled Filter. Initially the words "String Matching" are shown in that box. Enter the name of the crashed application or process. For example, if the Finder crashed, you would enter "Finder" (without the quotes.)

In the Console window, select
          DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION ▹ User Diagnostic Reports
(not Diagnostic and Usage Messages) from the log list on the left. There is a disclosure triangle to the left of the list item. If the triangle is pointing to the right, click it so that it points down. You'll see a list of crash reports. The name of each report starts with the name of the process, and ends with ".crash". Select the most recent report related to the process in question. The contents of the report will appear on the right. Use copy and paste to post the entire contents—the text, not a screenshot.
I know the report is long, maybe several hundred lines. Please post all of it anyway.
If you don't see any reports listed, but you know there was a crash, you may have chosen Diagnostic and Usage Messages from the log list. Choose DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION instead.
In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.)
Please don’t post other kinds of diagnostic report—they're very long and rarely helpful.

Additional question: How can I fix the refreshment settings, so that my browser doesn't destroy entered form information?

In addition to the question below, another problem is not only are my email responses erased when the browser refreshes, the message itself is no longer available. I have to start from the beginning point in my email list, rather than remain on the once-opened email.
By the way, I have reset and restored my Firefox as a solution, which didn't help. I did this twice, following instructions. The process was tedious and I had to recover quite a bit of information, not to mention a problem with merged bookmarks. I'd like to avoid this solution, at all costs. Here's what I said earlier. Again, thanks for any/all help you can provide.
For the past several weeks, now, I've noticed that my browser "refreshes" the feed more frequently, so frequently, in fact, that any emails, forms, or survey questions that I am answering get wiped clean. A few moments ago I tried to type an elaborate message and commended your site here for sitting still long enough for me to enter my message without being devoured by the “refresh feed.” Unfortunately, the page refreshed and wiped away my brilliant response to your questions. I will try to answer more briefly, and will cut and paste my reply. I pray that I don’t have to do this repeatedly. Here goes:
1. I used the term “refresh feed” because that was the only way I knew to describe it. For example, the ads change regularly in the NYT Online. I do subscribe to that. The pop-up alert has been coming far more frequently than before, and the ads are coming far more frequently than before. I see a correspondence between the refreshed ads and the change in the webpage. This is why I called the problem “refresh feed.” By the way, I have my pop-up block set to block.
2. I use Desire to Learn (D2L). I don’t subscribe, per se, but it is a password-protected site I have to use for my work. Within D2L, when I try to compose a message or respond to a question, what I write is immediately erased when the page refreshes, which is quite frequently. I am forced to compose on another program, as I’m doing now, and pray that I can paste my message in before I lose the entire email; I have to reenter the “to, from, subject, message,” and so on. I’ve had to do this over and over and over and over for just one message.
3. The issue happens when I use Outlook online. At least there I get a question asking if I really want to leave the page. Of course, I don’t because I’m still composing my message. I’ve taken to saving the messages frequently. I can’t do that in the D2L app.
4. This issue happens when I am just browsing a webpage for which I have no affiliation. The page will refresh and I find I’m back at the beginning of the initial page, or the beginning of an article I’m reading (if I’m lucky) or series of photographs or whatever. My place is lost. I often have to start all over again. It’s as if I’ve never been there.
5. This issue happens when I’m trying to make purchases. It happens immediately when I enter personal data. It’s as if I’ve not entered anything. I only use trusted sites. I’ve run my Internet security software and have checked for viruses. All is well there, at least I hope so.

How can I fix my Firefox browser so that PDF files from the Internet do not blur and go out of focus?

When I try to open a PDF document from the Internet, it opens, with sharp resolution; however, within a few seconds, it blurs and seems to have multiple copies being shown on top of each other (ever so slightly mis-aligned). Yet, when I use any other browser, the document opens without losing sharpness.
Also, opening a saved PDF document in Adobe Reader does not cause any loss of sharpness.
Running updated Windows XP; Adobe Reader updated; and Firefox updated.

Firefox's built-in PDF viewer overlays a transparent layer of text over a graphical image so you can copy/paste. It doesn't always line up pixel-perfectly, so if the text is not transparent for some reason, you will see double text.
Could you try switching to the Adobe Acrobat plugin? This article has the steps: [[How to disable the built-in PDF viewer and use another viewer]]. Does that one work correctly?

Which OS are you using. Please update to the latest CC desktop from: https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud, try to sign in again and let us know if the issue still persists.
Try the solution that others have mentioned previously:
Open the Adobe Application Manager (AAM).
If applicable, let AAM complete any automatic updates and restart itself.
Sign in with your Adobe ID. (Optionally, you can close AAM at this point.)
Open a CS6 application (e.g. InDesign CS6).
If prompted (e.g. you get the trial screen), click "License This Software" and sign in with your Adobe ID.
You are no longer signed into your Creative Cloud applications

How can I use an java based app that starts via an inf or bat file?

I have java exe application that is started using a .bat file and a java exe application that is started using an inf file. Both the .bat and inf prevent the respective application from kicking off. Is there a way to convert these file types so that they execute on my MacBook?

I didn't expect you to have your customer run the command. I would expect you to create the executable and install it. However, there wouldn't be any difference in what you are creating and the .jar file. Either way it is a faceless icon. For that matter, it is no different than a batch file on Windows. I'm not sure what they wouldn't understand with, "copy the Vocab.jar file to wherever you want and double-click it to run the program." In addition, you probably ought to point out that Java is not installed on Mac OS X Lion (10.7.x) and when they double-click the jar file (or whatever you send them), the system will ask if they want to install Java.
What you really need to do is package up the app inside a Mac application package and provide the user with the application on a .dmg (disk image). If you are accessing emails from multiple devices, you are better off using the IMAP protocol. Then the devices sync with the server and they are all looking at the same information. With POP, you are going to get your emails spread about, some on Outlook, some on the iPad. It could get very confusing.
