I have some music from CDs and recent purchases from iTunes on my iPhone 4 that are not synced with my iTunes account on my computer. How can I sync my phone and iTunes on my computer without losing what is on my iPhone? (original computer was stolen)

When I try to sync I get a message indicating that the iPhone iTunes will be replaced with the computer iTunes.
How can I sync and retain both iTunes?

Music is designed to sync in one way only, and that is from iTunes to the phone. There is the expectation that you would backup the computer to save this data. There are 3rd party solutions to try and recover music from the phone to put back into a blank iTunes library.

How can I fix a song in itunes?

Hi,
I purchased a song and trying to turn it into a ringtone for my iphone 5 (following instructions on the support forum), the original has got messed up- I have one copy of the song that is now three seconds, and one copy that works for two seconds... of the original 3.26!
When I've tried to download it again from the cloud (by clicking on the cloud button by the song) it makes no difference, just downloads another version for three seconds, and when I've tried going to the original on itunes no more than three seconds of that song will play.
How can I fix this??

Just for clarity, music redownload is part of iCloud which is presenlty only available in the USA as a beta when you are using the latesest iTunes.

Well, I updated to Itunes 8, but for the past two weeks cannot burn a CD in it. I have tried updating my drivers, but it says their updated. I also tried reinstalling Itunes 8 and my burner. None of these fixing the problem. I could burn Cds fine in Itunes 7, so does anyone know how to fix this problem or where I can download Itunes 7 again?

You may need to put your phone in recovery mode. You can find directions for that by searching this forum. I don't recall the exact steps off hand.

Thanks! I have been having to open iTunes as an administrator for a year - never could find the answer. Now I am trying to link the account to Disney Movie Rewards and I needed it to open under menot administrator. I deleted the Extras file and then also needed to delete the Genius file. Once that was done it opened immediately.

How can I fix my phone's ringer? The call comes through but it won't ring.

I've had my iPhone for over 6 months now with no issues. I have not had it reserviced, its not refurbished, and I bought it new from an AT&T store.
This week my phone stopped ringing. The incoming call comes through on the screen, but it doesn't ring out loud so I know I'm getting a call and I can't sit and stare at my iPhone's screen all day long to see if I'm getting an incoming call. It vibrates when a call comes in maybe 20% of the time.
Today I went into settings and reset my settings but it still didn't bring my ringer back. It plays the ringers when you are looking through the list of ringers, it plays it when you alter the volume setting, but when a call is actually coming in or when I'm receiving a text message or something, no sound.
What can I do to get my ringer back?

Check the mute switch on the side above the volume rocker. If the red dot shows, the phone is muted. You'll still be able to play the ringtones to select one.
I find that the switch can be thrown to "mute" by accident when I put my iPhone in my belt holster.

Did you place the iPod in Recovery mode like I said in my first reply?
If that does not work, place the iPod in DFU mode and then restore.

In all mobile method this is the rule so we save it like that but when some one calls us the mobile shows the number with this format : +97 261 7381
And if u had that number in contacts u cant know that who is that because its name doesnt show. I want to fix this issue on my iphone my iphone is 4.3.5

With the new IOS 7 therer has been what is know as an activation lock in which disables the user to restore the device to default settings without knowing the password to the apple id. Once you have restored the device back to default settings it will then ask you to plug in the apple id password. Once you have verified your identity with the apple id password you will be good to go!

I tried twice to reistall itunes and all the other programs including bonjour and quicktime. I also changed the firewall settings, entered the command prompt flushdns, updated autorun, as well as deleted the SC File folder. Nothing helped me so that my computed would connect to the itunes store. It just sits there with the progress bar saying accessing itunes store. The only thing it does is returns to the apple logo instead of the status bar and has itunes store in the middle of the page. Without the iTunes store, iTunes is really useless, so please someone help me fix this major complication!
