How can I get 20 different movies onto one dvd and have them play consecutively?
I am having a hard time converting all of the videos I've taken of my kids from my iphone onto a dvd. I would like the videos to play consecutively as if we were watching home movies from our regular video recorder. How can I convert my videos to one dvd?
If the total playing time for all of the videos is less than 120 minutes create a slideshow in iDVD and add the movies to it in the order you want them to play. Select any slide duration time except manual. Do not add any music to the slideshow as it will override the audio in the video files and do not add any transition as it won't be a smooth transition.
Follow this workflow to help assure the best qualty video DVD:
Once you have the project as you want it save it as a disk image via the File ➙ Save as Disk Image menu option. This will separate the encoding process from the burn process.
To check the encoding mount the disk image, launch DVD Player and play it. If it plays OK with DVD Player the encoding is good.
Then burn to disk with Disk Utility or Toast at the slowest speed available (2x-4x) to assure the best burn quality. Always use top quality media: Verbatim, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are the most recommended in these forums.

I am trying to burn a .mov file from fcp xpress timeline to a dvd. The popup message I receive prior to inserting the dvd is that I need 20.05 gb of space available on dvd (a 1.25 min program). How can I get this program onto a dvd (where the max available gb's for off the shelf dvds-r) shows a max of 8.5gb?. Please help. Thank You!

I took a 15 minute video clip on my phone and now I can't import it into iphoto. I've been able to import clips to iphoto in the past. How do I fix this? How can I get it imported onto my MacBook and ultimately iMovie?
Maybe try one of the WiFi transfer Apps? There are several to choose from. I use Photosynch quite often to send photos and videos between my computer(s), my iPhone, and iPad.

Hi, I put apple configurator on my work machine which has all my itunes, my entire Apple Macintosh History on it and used apple configurator thinking it would be a great way to sync all my devices. I get it now, that it doesn't do that for the private person but is really for an institution or employer. Be that as it may I threw away the app from my main computer and thought I would be done with it.
I just reinstalled apple configurator and thought I took all devices off it. My ipad disappeared from the itunes menu. I plugged my ipad back into my machine and Paulz Config reappeared. I need to get this off my work PowerMac and have my ipad, ipod4 controlled by my macbook pro from home. And does it matter if I use the same email address that's listed with my power mac at work to easily switch the dominant mac over to my home from work. Things can get dicey at work and I don't want my life tied to the work power mac anymore. Thanks, Paul I realize there are a ton of questions in this. I am gratefull if I can just get the apple config off everything.To completely remove Apple Configurator from a Mac, you need to delete the application along with the following:
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.configurator.
You may also want to delete the contents of ~/Library/Keychains and /var/db/lockdown to remove the Supervision Certificate, public and private keys and device pairing information. NOTE: There are other things in Keychains that you may or may not want to delete. Google "keychains" to learn more about what's in that folder.

How can I hyperlink pages between multiple indd docs, and have them work in a pdf?
Ok, this is confusing, so I'm going to try to be as clear as possible. I'm using InDesign CS6.
I am working on a catalog, over 500 pages, which is split into several smaller indd files.
I need to end with one single pdf of the whole catalog, with links to different pages. For example, there's an index in the back, a TOC in the front, and various "related product" type references throughout the catalog which I would like to have the page numbers as clickable links.
When I try just linking to the different docs, either clicking it in the pdf opens the indd file (not helpful) or nothing happens at all (even less helpful). So I assume there must be a trick to it. Or it's impossible.
I know how to do this if everything was one big indd file, but it's not. I suppose that could be an option but I really don't know how my mac will react to a file that large.
So, how can I make this happen? Is there a way? Would it be better to just do this in Acrobat?I actually did already create a book with all the files in it, but I couldn't figure out how that was helpful. The hyperlink panel doesn't seem to have any "book" options (unless I'm looking in the wrong place?) and just linking to the different files (after creating the book) didn't have any different results than linking to the files before I created the book.
I thought maybe linking to the different files in the book would work if I could export the whole book to pdf at once (which would be super-helpful in and of itself), but that doesn't seem to be an option either.
I guess what I'm asking is for you to elaborate on what to do after creating the book.

I created an iMovie using pictures from my camera roll, I exported the movie to the camera roll and then deleted all of the pictures. Now I can't get the movie to play. Did deleting the pictures cause my IMovie to disappear? How can I get my movie back?

You have downloaded the movie on your iphone? If so, then transfer it to your computer: File>Transfer Purchases
The movie will not download on your iphone? Click Store>Check for Available Downloads on your computer in itunes. -
My company runs Adobe Acrobat XI on a PC. Our PC went down and we replaced it with a new one. We need Acrobat XI on it and have bought it already. How can I get it put onto our new computer without having to buy it again?

I checked with your account but could not find any order history so you might be using another email address on forums.
You will first need to deactivate Acrobat from old machine and then install Acrobat on the new machine by activating with the same serial number.

If you have single user license, then remember that the software can be activated on maximum two computers, say your desktop at work and laptop at home.

I have a G4 Quicksilver 2001 that no longer works, but the hd may still be good. How can I get files off the G4 hd and onto my new late 2013 iMac?
Also, how do I boot the G4 into FireWire Target Disk mode?
First, the G4 must be able to start to use FWTDM. If it can start, hold the t key at boot until you get a "screensaver pattern" that looks like this:
If the G4 is attached via a FireWire cable to a newer Mac with a FireWire port, the G4's hard drive will appear on the other Mac's desktop just as if it were any external drive. A USB cable won't work for FWTDM.
Just wondering if the drive in my G4, which I believe may be an ATA drive will also work in an enclosure for a SATA drive?
No. ATA (actually "PATA" or "IDE") and SATA are different interfaces. PATA external enclosures are now very hard to find. You best and least expensive option is the adaptor that BDAqua linked. One of its connectors is for PATA drives. -
How can I get my itunes onto my new laptop? Do I need to download itunes again or can I just copy it? My ipod classic has since been soaked in water and does not work so I cannot copy from there. Can anyone help?
You should copy everything from your old comptuer to your new one.

After copying a movie to the harddisk of my MacBook I wanted to also copy it to my iPad, but for this you first have to copy it to the library in iTunes, but this doesn't seem to be working. So how can I get this movie to the library ? And to the iPad ?

If you don't have the movie on the old computer and you don't have the movie backed up on a disc somewhere, your only choice is to purchase the movie again. Currently, movie downloads are a one time deal andit is your responsibility to have a backup copy.
If you have the movie on the other computer still, you can burn it to a DVD and then copy it over to the new computer.
Personally, I have two computers and when I make a purchase on one, iTunes automatically copies it to the other and I have never lost videos or music in this manner.
