How can i get a macbook pro in the caribbean especially trinidad and tobago

I have been a pc user for years and I am tired of them not living up to standard. I viewed the presentations about macbook pro and I am wondering why I never used it before.
Anyway I am a teacher and loved what I saw the the iwork software was capable of but I have no where of accessing a store to purchase one. Is there any way I could get access to purchasing one?
In Trinidad and Tobago pc's arepopular but I think if teachers got a chance to experience the capabilities of a mac they would switch. Any ideas on how I can get one?

If the machine is asleep, lid closed, and you plug in to an external monitor and an external USB keyboard, the machine will wake, anbd reconfigure the screen resolution for the external monitor, Once it has made this configuration change, you can open the lid and it will continue to address only the external monitor. At least that's how my early MacBook Pro unibody 13" works. It seems to run a bit cooler this way. It gets quite toasty with the lid closed while doing anything demanding and you are more likely to hear the fan come on. I have not seen any temps that would cause alarm, but I do get a high speed (6000 rpm), noisy fan sometimes with the lid closed, .
If you operate in the open-lid, external monitor only mode, if you deactivate the monitor for any reason, when it reactivates it will be running both screens, with all the navigation hassles this entails, so I generally set it not to deactivate the screen when in this mode.
Thus I agree with those who say that some of the cooling air is drawn in around the keyboard, the difference in cooling performance is observable. If you activate istat pro, get the computer hot running in clamshell mode, and open the lid, you can watch the CPU temp drop by a few degrees C within a couple minutes. It isn't a huge difference, but enough the lower the fan speeds.

I have a 2012 MacBook pro and an Insignia 120 Hz television. I would like to watch movies/play games on my TV in 120 hertz. What cables do i need, and what do i have to do to get this to work. It currently shows that the highest refresh rate i can reach in the display settings is 60 Hz. Is this because of the cables i'm using? I currently have the rocketfish minidisplay to hdmi adapter hooked up to a hdmi cable to the tv. I have read other discussions relating to this issue but they got congested with people's personal issues. An approach i saw to getting this to work was by getting the Mini-Display port to Dual-Link DVI adapter. If this is the best means of accomplishing my goals, where do i go from there? and i bought it because i thought i had a low demand of graphics, displays, etc.

Apple Inc, kills numpad, and i was totally shocked and keep searching for any manufacturer or Apple Inc. itself would allow special hardware request.

what is "full sized keyboard" actually means?
does it mean just the qwerty keyboard?
I was really disappointed with the new keyboard design.
I believed some of the mac users did the same.

i really hope someone could and i know you understand numpad is numpad, not just numbers.
i think if the people in the design group or whatever name it is, do use the numpad, or understand how i numpad would actually affect some of the people. apple inc would just keep it.

its all about compatibility.
applications are more and more made for mac.
but now we have some awkward jagged decision made here just now.
numpad is kind of the vital function to like at least 10% of the people in the world who use computers.
there is only one reason i can think of if you say so.
maybe that is a strategy to keep Mac computers up high in the sky,
so they, oops, cut users by cutting numpad incidentally.

You can get a set of discs specific to your machine by calling Apple. Cost is about $20, I believe. Be sure and have your serial number handy.

How do you expect anyone here to help you without any kind of relevant information regarding your printer. How about a manufacturer? Model number? You say you lost your manual? You obviously have internet access. Have you tried going to the manufacturer's website and seeing if there's an electronic copy available????

I am trying to format a new external hard drive. It is attached via a USB 2.0 docking station. It does not show up in Disk Utility or Terminal, but does show up in System Profiler. How can I get my MacBook Pro to recognise it?

I need help trying to format an external hard drive. My Mac won't recognise it anywhere other than System Profiler.

The problem is that it is a Western Digital 3.5 inch internal hard drive housed inside a hard drive caddy. So the only way to connect it to my computer is through a dock.

The way it has worked for me in the past was
1. call Applecare
2. once they decide it needed to be sent in for service, they arrange with their shipper to have a box dropped off (used to be Airborne express, not sure who they use now)
3. shipper drops off box with all packing material (tape, foam, instructions) and a shipping lable.
aside - back up your hard drive!! Apple will not contact you if anything they do involves reinstalling the OS and wiping the drive to do it - it is entirely up to you to safe guard your data BEFORE sending it off to Apple. Also might want to de-authorizse the machine in iTunes incase any hardware repairs change the hardware ID of the machine and you have to use another authorization when you get it back to get iTunes to recognize it.
4. user packs up machine, calls shipper to arrange a pickup
5. shipper picks up box - off to Apple, repaired and returned
These were for in-warranty (or AppleCare extended period) repairs. I think if out of warranty, they require a credit card number to charge the shipping to.

You should have probably found out more specifically from the Apple Store just how you could do it online. The obvious solution is to order it from the Apple Danish website store, but I don't know if they ship internationally.

Although that may be true with some inverters it is not for all of them. If the inverter can get enough power to invert you can run a power saw off them, depending on the size of the inverter.
Problems start because people buy the lowest cost unit they "THINK" will work based on the printed specs when in fact they need a bigger unit.
