How can I get Acrobat 7 Pro to work with Windows 8.1 Pro?

Apparently Acrobat Pro 7 is not compatible with Windows 8.1 Pro X64. I am trying to save a web page to pdf but this feature does not work in Windows 8.1 Pro. Is there a patch or update that will fix this problem?

It might be possible to get a lot of it working, but you will have to install a separate PS driver and rename it Adobe PDF and set the port to File. The print process is then to print to the Adobe PDF printer and then open the created file in Distiller to complete the process. I have been successful with this on a Win7, 64-bit system, but not tried it on a Win8 system. You are pretty much on your own if problems arise, unless you are willing to try wild suggestions that we might give (guesses really).

Will not work. To my knowledge, dual converting like that isn't supported. The Mac must detect the connected video output device and that sort of info cannot be done across an analog component uni-directional connection.

1. Update iTunes to the latest version. Plug in your iPod. If iTunes still can't recognize it, then in iTunes in the top left corner click help> run diagnostics. On the box that comes up, check the last two things. Click next and it should identify your iPod.
2. Click on your windows start menu. Type in "services". Click on it and when it pops up, on the bottom of it click on "standard". Now Scroll down to find "Apple Mobile Device" Right click it when you see it and click on "Start". When it has started, close iTunes and replug in your iPod and it should show up.
3. Check the USB cable
4 Verify that Apple Mobile Device Support is installed
5. Restart the Apple Mobile Device Service and verify that the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver is installed.
6. If you just want to add some photos, songs and movies from computer to your devices, you can use an iTunes alternative to do the job
7. Check for third-party software conflicts.

No, you can still buy photoshop cs6 (perpetual license) if one doesn't want to subscribe to the cloud version (photoshop cc version 14)
Either way is expensive compared to photoshop elements.

Not sure if this is the same problem others are having, but I used to play music on my Philips Fidelio by opening the Music app on my ipad and clicking on the box with the triangle (which has now disappeared in the new OS). You can get in touch with the Developers and see if they intend to release a version in the future which won't require Rosetta. Rosetta has been dropped in Lion. They make it quite clear on their site that Rosetta is a requirement, so I wouldn't hold my breath. That leaves you the option of finding a similar program which will run on Lion, or return to Snow Leopard, if they have no plans to make changes to their program in the future.

I have talked to UCONNECT and the tekkie said "you will have to live with it because your phone is too advanced for our software and we do not have an update planned." I prress the "connect" button on the steering wheel and tell the phone to call a person on mobile. I says it cannot call "somebody else" as they do not have a mobile number. How can I get avi files to work with imovie08?

Hi I bought a macbook last year and have loved creating imovie videos by simply using the video function on my digital camera. My daughter was born last year and we have a great collection of clips of her first 7 months. I'd now like to take things a step further and put together a wedding video.
We had our wedding day filmed on a digital camcorder by a friend and he has given my 25MB of avi files which I would like to import into imovie and make into a video however I understand that this format isn't compatible. Is there a way of getting it to work and if so please can you tell me in very simple terms what I need to do to get the files to work with imovie? (I'm not very technical)

I do not know of a way to import .avi files directly into iMovie, and I am positive that this is not actually possible as iMovie only supports the importation of .mov, .mp4 (mpeg4) and .dv filetypes.
What you could do is use a video converter (there are some good ones that are availible free, eg MPEG Streamclip (http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/video/mpegstreamclip.html)) to convert those avi movie files to either of the 3 video formats iMovie supports, then import them.
MPEG Streamclip does sound a little complicated for you but it is the best I have found, any more questions just post them here.
