How can i get cfselect to repopulate after database update?

I have a form with a cfselect generating a dropdown of Program Directors. I have a link near the dropdown to a page for adding Program Directors.
I want to be able to click the link, add a Program Director, then have the cfselect-generated dropdown in the form show the current list of Program Directors (including the one just added).
How can get the list of Program Directors in the dropdown show the new list of Program Directors without having to refresh the form (thus losing information already entered into the form)?

My problem is not just needing to add to the dropdown the Program Director's name, but adding the ID / Name in the dropdown, where the user sees the Name but submits the ID when the form is submitted. And the user will not know the ID of the newly-added Program Director.
That is why I was hoping I could refresh the contents of the dropdown with the new ID / Name combination.

Noo!!! How can I get my contacts back after failed update?!

Tried updating my phone. Got the same error everyone else has. And before some smart aleck asks, no I haven't hacked my phone at all. Just contacts and songs have been added.
Got the error, and had to restore. Now everything's gone. Pictures, contacts, everything. Please tell me there's a way to get it back. Most of those contacts weren't in my Outlook. And my old phone's been recycled so I can't get the info off that either.
I love the phone....but I hate the update.

I'm sorry, I don't mean to sound like a smart-you know what, but what in the world were you thinking of updating the iPhone with no backup? At the very least having your contacts on your desktop program (Outlook) would be a good backup. If I read your post correctly, you manually entered your contact information on your iPhone, you have no copy of that data anywhere else, and completely wiped out your iPhone with a restore.
If I understood the situation correctly, then no, there is no way to get your contacts back.
I would highly recommend you enter them on the computer, not the iPhone. Sync them over to the iPhone, making the iPhone the SECOND place where you have all your contacts.

Go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings. This will erase your device. Then you will go through the setup screens again as you did when your device was new, and when given the option, select Restore from iCloud Backup.

I don't know if this is a similar problem but I wrote 2 notes yesterday on my iphone. I opened my mail to print them and they appeared as notes but wouldn't load. Then I looked at them on my iphone and I could see the notes but they quickly updated to blank with a time of the last edit the same time I tried opening them on my computer.

You can restore the phone and when prompted to restore choose from icloud account. BUT MAKE SURE there is 1.) an icloud backup for your phone. 2.) you are using the same apple id.

and the update has relocked it to the original wireless carrier. If that
is the case, only the wireless carrier to which the iPhone is now locked

Okay so i had a Iphone 5c and broke it so they shipped me a new one, And as i was trying to set my new one up the paper said to go to settings and back up my phone and then erase all content and settings from my damaged device, So i did. I had saved my photos on my WD My passport but I think it was only saved like a preview.
We need to know more, to be able to understand what you have done.
How did you save your images to the external drive? Did you copy your Aperture library there?
Is your Aperture library referenced or managed - did you store the original image files outside the Aperture library or are they included in your Aperture library? If you have referenced images, did you back them up too?
The error message you are seeing, shows that Aperture cannot find the original image file. That is indicated by the yellow warning badge with the arrow.
If your Aperture library is referenced, you need to restore your backed up original image files as well from their backup, and then use the the command "File > Locate Referenced Files" to reconnect the image versions with the missing original files. Do you have a backup of the originals? If you cannot restore your referenced originals, you can turn your previews into new originals; post back, if you need help with that.
If your Aperture library is managed, and all your originals are included inside your Aperture library, try if the Aperture Library First Aid Tools can fix this:

Check if the "Masters" folder inside your Aperture Library contains any image files: Crtl-click the Aperture library and use "Show Package Contents". Are the missing original image files inside?

How can I get Encore CS6 back after CC Cleaner tool removed it?

I was working on a project on my home computer using CC and now that I'm back at the office, the CS6 and CC stuff doesn't play nice. I was going to upgrade the Creative Cloud but it kept popping up the A12E1 error. So I followed Adobe's 4-step fix which removed all the CS6 products from my system. I'm fine with just having CC, but I need Encore which is not available through CC. How can I get it back? Please don't suggest I use another DVD program. I prefer to stay in the Adobe family for the dynamic linking, among other reasons.

You can download all CS6 programs by manually selecting a different version from the CC web page. Encore is bundled with Premiere CS6. Alternatively you can try this:
