How can I get Facebook game pop-ups to appear without having to downgrade Firefox as I need version 6 for work?
When I try to send back a gift in a Facebook game, there should be a pop-up that appears to allow me to do this. However in the newest version of Firefox, I can not get these pop-ups to appear and I have to have version 6 to be able to work from home. So how do I fix this?
This might be because your settings are configured to block pop-ups. To fix this:
1. Go to: Firefox > Options > Content
2. Untick the 'Block popup windows' option
3. Click 'OK'

I just bought splashtop, you have to have your home computer online,and download the pc version. I have used it ot watch movies and to "go to work" on my ipad. It controls the desktop through the ipad. Whiteboard by splashtop does that and more and is on sale. The education director at the hospital I work at is using that one.

Each project has compound and regular media in them, and every time i attempt to duplicate the projects and have them reference one event on the new drive the rest of my media shows up missing and will not reconect. So i called apple and after a few hours on the phone and them taking control of my computer they pretty much told me they had never seen this before and were sorry they couldnt assist in any way. The long explination is that i work for a company that films their footage in one long take and then sends it to me to cut into segments, i then have to copy these small edits which are all in different projects and the one large event over to a new hard drive to give to a guy to put titles on and then send back to the company. when i do this copy of project final cut X forces me to also duplicate the event leaving me with "event" (fcp1) and so on depending on how many projects there are. When i dont duplicate event and project together the whole project shows up as missing media and final cut X does not recognize that the original footage is being lost and therefor i am not even given the oportunity to reconect media. I have tried all conventional ways of copying and transfering and have an extensive background in editing and have never come across this, but then again this is final cut X and something that i try and stray away from if i have a choice in systems.
to answer Tony im using copy project and event because it is the only option that works (copy project and used media works as well but only creates more confusion with having to rename files) I would prefer to be able to just copy the first project and event and then be able to source the rest of the project files from the first event i copied over. -

How do I get ads and pop ups off my computer?Your question is one that tends to bring out the worst of all the bad advice that infests this site. There is, in fact, no need to download anything to solve the problem.
You may have installed one or more of the common types of ad-injection malware. Follow the instructions on this Apple Support page to remove it. It's been reported that some variants of the "VSearch" malware block access to the page. If that happens, start in safe mode by holding down the shift key at the startup chime, then try again.
Back up all data before making any changes.
One of the steps in the article is to remove malicious Safari extensions. Do the equivalent in the Chrome and Firefox browsers, if you use either of those. If Safari crashes on launch, skip that step and come back to it after you've done everything else.
If you don't find any of the files or extensions listed, or if removing them doesn't stop the ad injection, ask for further instructions.

My ipod nano was synced by itunes and removed all of my music and game files, and replaced my music with my kids music that they have put into the current itunes library. My music is nowhere to be found on my computer, so now I am in the long, forever process of adding my music back one cd at a time, but there is no history of tetris that I paid for from the itunes store. In a word, yes. In a little more detail.... When you restore from an iCloud backup, you must erase the device and start all over again. There is no other way to access the backup in iCloud without erasing the device. Consequently, you are starting all over again. Therefore, it would also be my assumption that Pages and Numbers will work again and that the deleting apps issues would be fixed as well.
If the documents are not in the backup, and you do not have a backup elsewhere, the documents could be gone forever. -

I don't know if I can help you with what's been recorded but may be able to assist in getting rid of the problem.
1. Don't know if the MOTU has a reset procedure on the rack unit, if so, do that first.
2. Turn off/disable wireless if you're using it.
3. In Logic raise the I/O buffers to 128
4. If you have a different slot, move the 424 card. One slot was noisy on many Macs.
(5) As mentioned, Make sure the audio interface is using Internal clock.

By "game center account", do you mean Apple ID?
If so, you can change it.
