Hello,
I will try to discribe my uncommon situation:
My friend bought a iPhone 4 in Apple Store (New York) about one month ago. And then he sent it to me to the Ukraine. But on the way the iphone was stolen by courier service. I didn't get nothing in the end. Now I have just a check from the purchase where I can see just a Part Number and Serial Number of iPhone 4.
After all this I went to police and ask there to find my stolen iPhone, but they need get a IMEI number of iPhone, which I doesn't have. So, what is a problem? If I have only a check with Part and Serial numbers can I get info about my iPhone 4 from Apple base???
Please help me someone!!!

I know, that I can't use iPhone in Ukraine like a official, anyway it's doesn't matter. I can sold it to some russian people.

Yeah! You are right. I think it's a best way in this situation. Apple Store must have a records of purchase, but I am not sure if they can give this info to me Anyway thanks, I will try to do all possible.

For you to be able to see the Folder called AppData you have to make sure that you have enabled Show Hidden Folders which is achievable by selecting Folder Options>View>Tick Show Hidden Files, Folders and Drives
Once you open the Messages, Photos or Contacts you will be able to see a folder and the folder name will have numbers which is the IMEI number and you can use your IMEI number to block your lost phone via your service provider. Some service providers also helps to track the phone and if your service provider enables the track phone feature then you can locate your lost phone and arrest the person who stole it.

scenario is that when i purchased iphone 4g. It has restarting issue so i took that for warranty claim, They kept only handset not the box and other accessries. If you go to the computer where your sync your phone to and open itunes and then go to edit in the tool bar then preferences then device preferences then devices.. hover the mouse pointer over your device name in the back up lists that appear there and it shows the IMEI

Do you possibly mean the contacts have been merged?
If so, where are each of you syncing contacts? A supported application on the computer? iCloud or another cloud service? An Exchange server?

This is a bit past the last activity of the thread, but I just had an idea, that requires me to get the port number in the init.
When this particular servlet shuts down, it generates an email. Since there is more than one instance running, I figured, I would put the HOST and PORT in the email.
The problem with saving this information from a request, is say it gets shutdown before any requests are generated.
The email then would have the HOST portion, but the port would be null.
Ideally there would be a way to get the port(s) that the server is listening on.

You cannot change an IMEI number since it is assigned by the manufacturer at the time of manufacturing. It is assigned to each handset made and is an unique code.
